The Airlines is really professional and flights are almost on time in respect of departure and arrivals are concerned.
The trip was booked on a Premium Economy, I was moved to standard economy with no compensation. When I boarded the flight crew had already made someone else sit in my place who were reluctant to give me my seat. Quite a few people were found not wearing masks and crew did nothing about it. No choice of food in spite of me with a standard economy ticket that includes the option of food.
Pathetic ground staff and customer care. I paid for an upgrade 3 weeks before the journey, and I was downgraded with no reason.
No Food, No beverages, only water, and there is no information about this sudden change
Comfort and safety. At least packaged food could be served to Business Class passengers.
Surprisingly pleasant experience despite Covid-19 times. Food was too good!
Pros: "Vistara ground staff is not very helpful"
Cons: "Vistara ground staff is not very helpful in resolving the problem of my baggage in three days"
Pros: "Premium Economy was comfortable and separate from the main cabin. Bulkhead seats had a lot of space. The crew was very friendly and accommodating."
Cons: "Flight was a bit warm, even with full air vents on. The snack was very good, but I thought it would be more of a dinner/meal."
Pros: "Nothing at all."
Cons: "The staff at the Mumbai Airport dealing with Vistara Airline has absolutely no idea how to do their checks for documents. I was asked to wait for almost an hour and a half to get my documents cleared for my travel to dubai. After all that wait I was asked to sign an Indemnity form stating that I'll be responsible for any penalties whatsoever from Dubai Immigration if denied entry in dubai. The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."
Cons: "Really efficient service, Tata heritage and Singapore airlines jv is always going to be on my travel list from now on"
Pros: "Very helpful and kind crew. On time boarding and departure."
Cons: "If the crew cleaned the toilet more often and picked up trash from passengers and worked faster."
Pros: "Great crew, great customer service by phone, great food and entertainment."
Cons: "Boarding and deplaning took ages, but don't they always?"
Pros: "Crew, food."
Cons: "Dulles airport - yes, not directly related to the airline but Dulles is over capacity. Some should consider BWI - Baltimore Washington International that is little further but still a good airport."
Pros: "The crew was good. Good movie selection."
Cons: "The food. The vegetarian meals were both noodles. And the meals were not very healthy. Too high calorie. I couldn’t figure out how to customize my meals On the Qatar app"
Pros: "There was a flight attendant that this was only her second flight. She was amazing. Really enjoyed the service."
Pros: "Good crew, fair choice of food and drinks and served whenever you want it. Good array of entertainment on offer but our flight was a 'sleeper' so after a fumble with the controls and the limited new releases, I opted to read instead. Not sure we like the Dreamliner configuration and levels of comfort more than the 777 or Airbus offerings but it was fine."
Cons: "A couple on our flight decided it was OK to have their 4-year old run around the cabin shrieking and causing a lot of fuss. Most of us in the cabin complained but these parents were pathetically weak and elected to allow it to continue. No sleep... spoiled experience.. miserable flight in this respect. Terrible Business Lounge 'Aspire' in Gatwick; dirty and poorly equipped - not even Prosecco on offer without paying £5 for a small glass. Qatar should stop using this dreadful place. Crew seemed to have stopped referring to the passengers by name and offer a less-personalised service in Business than we have become accustomed to. The food choices while good, have been paired back as have the selection of wines."
Pros: "The plane was virtually empty and the service was good."
Cons: "The plane from Doha to Dar was infinitely less nice than the plane from New York to Doha. It was borderline offensively unequal."
Pros: "Service, attentiveness, food."
Cons: "lack of ability to pay to upgrade even though there was plenty of empty business class. (Almost all seats were available)"
Cons: "No food on board!! Staff says it got over when i have selected my food selection!!"
Cons: "I had been told my checkin bags will be available at final destination but I had to pick them up at Delhi and do the checking in once more which was a lot of hassle with kids"
Already mentioned the didorerly check in process. The crew were not aware that I pre-booked for snacks and paid for. They said I have to pay for snacks and drinks, when I showed the crew my boarding pass they said that the system was not updated with this information. Very strange excuse..
Liked the XL seat, but didn't like the check-in process at the Delhi Airport gate 5B. Though I had paid for the priority boarding, there was mad rush at the gate and allowed whoever with might pushed in. Then at the gate we were picked up for compulsory checkin the hand baggage as the flight was full. There were any with more than 2 bags and massive cabin baggage. But they didn't dare to stop them.. Overall a very badly managed check-in process.
On time Arrival and Departure despite budget airline. In side the aircraft, seats and floor carpet is very clean and neat
Bag check is not as smooth as can be at CST Terminal 2. Passengers are advised to print out and attach boarding passes at home in a bid to avoid crowding at self-service kiosks given the Covid-19 public health crisis. However attendants then say tags need to be re-printed at the counter as the ones provided by the airline at the airport are more secure. While the check-in process is aided by the helpful staff, Indigo Airlines could do a better job of providing more self-service kiosks and clearer guidance during the online purchase process. Suggest calling ahead to confirm situation on the ground.
Pros: "Not much."
Cons: "We flew to India and back from Turkey. Both flights had 2 stops and both times Indigo said we didn’t have a second flight and wouldn’t give us a second boarding pass meaning we had to go out to the check in both times to get our second boarding pass and both times were very problematic. Also we have a 7+ hour international flight on a very small plane with no free food or drinks. Just not a very good flight experience overall."
Pros: "Worth buying an XL seat Liked the rolling ramp better than steps. Buses to terminal were wuick"
Cons: "Baggage policy for checkin and carryon is too restrictive, too low. Too many email messages sent by IndiGo."
Pros: "The seat was really bad and the crew didn't make any effort to dim the lights for about 75% of the journey. I would say an international flight on a low-cost carrier like Indigo should be avoided."
Cons: "if the cabin crew had been a little more cooperative, this flight could have been better"
Pros: "6E Prime was value for money. But food promised was not given as a part of it despite asking."
Cons: "45 minutes in the checking queue. And long queue at the boarding gates. Please get your act together. All it takes is a little forethought and efficiency — not many people looking busy and doing the same thing."
Cons: "Waited close to an hour for collecting baggage at the terminal"
Pros: "Food was amazing."
Cons: "Nothing works - the entertainment system, reading lights, hand sets are falling apart etc."
Pros: "Flight itself was okay."
Cons: "Flight was an hour late for a 1 hour 40 minute flight. Airport checkin was chaotic. Security was mislabeled leading to having to stand on multiple lines. Gate information was not available."
Pros: "NOTHING"
Cons: "CREW, FOOD, CUSTOMER SERVICE. My parents were traveling on 29th April. They did not provide blankets or cushion even the flight was almost 15 hours long.. when my dad asked the crew for blankets, they said we only got 25% and we do not have it. The food was horrible.. they even complained at the airport but no one cared.. over all very bad/worse experience they had.. so disappointed.."
Pros: "First of all there was no one at the boarding counter That could relay any flight information. The flight was delayed by two hours. I just had to sit there and wait without any communication. I had no idea what time to tell my sister to come to the airport. It was midnight when my flFirst of all there was no one at the boarding counter That could relay any flight information. It was midnight when my flight arrived in Delhi.ight arrived in Delhi."
Pros: "sorry..nothing"
Cons: "My wife and I along with our 2 yr old son were flying AI 102 from JFK to DEL on 12th Dec 2017. Boarding happened on time at 1 pm EST and that was the last sane thing to have happened. First, there was some problem and flight got delayed, AI staff would not tell us what was going on and kept buying time with one excuse or the other. Soon this stretched to over 3 hours of sitting inside the plane while the plane did not move an inch from the gate. Finally they announced there was some technical problem that required a part replacement and as per the DGCA regulations, passengers would need to deplane. After deplaning, we were given a $10 meal voucher and told to stay close by the AI gate as the replacement part was already on the way and the plan would take off around 6 PM. As time passed, passenger's impatience started growing as AI staff just wouldn't share any concrete information. Suddenly around 6 pm they announced that the replacement part had arrived and engineers were working to fix it and that boarding would now start soon, all this while insisting that passengers stay close to the AI gate as boarding could happen any time. Around 7 PM they started the boarding, little did we know that this was merely an exercise in deception that was never meant to get us on the plane, but rather just meant to herd us to a much smaller hall downstairs with poor air conditioning where people along with their hungry starving babies and crying children could suffocate further. To make matters worse, there was no explanation provided by the AI staff still about what was going on, downstairs staff would say engineers are still working and the staff upstairs that was managing the boarding said they were under instructions from downstairs passengers to board the passengers. After about 45 mins of waiting, passengers finally lost their patience. When several Mom's yelled at the AI staff to provide clear cut information, the staff relented and sent the passengers back upstairs where there was better air conditioning and people could still move around. We were still asked to hang out close to the AI gate lest we miss the boarding that could happen any moment - this was still 8 PM. After another hour of wait, around 9 PM finally we got hold of the AI station manager who informed us that the flight had been cancelled. Upon being asked the next steps, he had no answer and asked us to get back to the departure ticketing terminals where they would provide further information. Long story short, the next 2 hours were AI's shoddiness at it's best. Utter confusion, misinformation from the AI staffers, unruly scenes at JFK that eventually required police to be called in was the order of the day. We finally got into an AI arranged hotel at 1 in the night - no dinner - with the promise of being flown out the next day at 12:30 pm. It's another matter that the flight next day could depart only at 3:30 PM, but we were thankful that at least it did. #NeverFlyingAirIndia"
Pros: "The food and selection of music"
Cons: "The remote wasnot working. The floating bag WAs stitched ar the side of the foot rest and it was uncomfortable to sit there. I was made to complete immigration at the transit destination and not at the first port of entry. This change was not intimated before"
Cons: "Display screens didn’t work properly and one had to Press on random points on the screen to get the movie screen going"
Pros: "1. Good food. 2. Air hosts and hostesses were excellent. 3. The baggage handling was good. No damage or loss. 4. No delay, quite punctual all throughout. 5. Boarding was a little messy, mainly due to impatient Indian passengers who won't let other fellow passengers board without a fight for no reason."
Cons: "1. While checking, the front desk person was absolutely miserable. We had a couple of baggage with 25 kilos and others less than 23 kilos. However, she would not let out baggage go until we evenly distribute all of them and make them all less than 24 kilos. We had to open all our bags and suitcases in the airport and redistribute. Quite a nightmare. So for future passengers, if you get someone like her good luck. 2. The Boeing-777 cargo is pretty old. So though it has everything still there is a touch of shabbiness all over the plane. They are not comparable to the top of the line Dreamliners that AI runs quite a bit. 3. Though the entertainment system was good, however, some of the remotes or audio outputs were not working well. Like my audio output was not functional at all. I changed the headphone and it still did not work. They suggested to use my own audio bud, however, I did not have one. 3. Limited beverage choice."
Cons: "Entertainment system was down for 90% of the passengers. The aircraft was very old and some of the seats were held together by duct tape !! The staff was polite but quite inept at hospitality. Will not be flying air India"
Pros: "I was sitting in economy class in a middle seat... it was a comfortable seat and the flight left and arrived on time"
Cons: "The flight crew did not have water to serve after the initial small bottle that each guest received in their seat pocket"
