Pros: "It was a very good flight and on time. The food was very authentic and tasty!"
Cons: "The airport need to expand the number of runways. Always late leaving or arriving because they can't handle the traffic and especially in bad weather."
Pros: "Decent seat, plane was clean enough"
Cons: "Delayed by an hour, food was terrible"
Pros: "Time management"
Cons: "More information about the terminals"
Cons: "Airport is not very well organized. Airline is ok but crew did not show the importance of addressing customer service. We paid for choice seats but others got the same without paying. We should have been allowed to move to wider leg room seats since we paid."
Cons: "PAL is literally never on time. The terminal process was absurd - 300 person line to check in and print a boarding pass. Then it was 1hr late to boars and then >90 mins waiting on the tarmac. Just a terrible on-time performance and inconvenient process that is typical of PAL"
Pros: "Currtious attendants."
Cons: "Dis orderly lines. Too many long lines"
Pros: "The rest was ok."
Cons: "They broke our baggage."
Pros: "Im comfortable"
Cons: "The food"
Pros: "The safety belt works"
Cons: "3hours late for a one hour flight. Hour and half boarding then after sitting on the plane foe a hour they announced the plane w Needs repair and were waiting on a mechanic to finish the repairs. Why would they put us on a broken plane? I guess our flight was a test for the repairs. We could of sat in the terminal for the time instead of the plane."
Cons: "Flight was dalyed 1h. We were heading to siargao but went back to cebu!!!! Lost 2 h for no reason!! Thats unacceptable! Now we have paid a room in siargao for nothing. Cant skip siargao cause our next flight is from there!!!! I hate you"
Pros: "The plane we use airbus 321"
Cons: "None so far so good , the only downside was we use stair in manila airport not the bridge which is connected to the airport building"
Pros: "Why there’s an extra charge if you seat in row 53 below. They put me to row 71."
Pros: "Nothing really"
Cons: "Food needs to be improved, really not that great , the ice cream in biz class wasn’t even hagaan Daz , some cheap chinese brand , the entertainment was so so the seats weren’t even comfortable for biz class, when parking at the terminal they did not open the door in 1st class so it was tough to get out"
Cons: "My luggage was opened and my items inside were opened too. Chocolates and personal letter"
Pros: "I liked that the lady at the front desk turned us away and we weren’t able to board our flight due to not having a passport that extended out six months to expiration."
Cons: "I did not like the fact that I booked my flights months in advance and would have done this adjustment with Our ample time and not one person informed us about our passports from kayak or Philippine Airlines. It was disgusting that I had to lose my flight and not even receive any kind of courtesy from them or you as far as even a partial refund or any kind of acknowledgement. We just booked other flights without your product. Terrible experience. i am just appalled at the kind of service kayak offers."
Cons: "Unnecessary security checks after checks, wasnt allowed to leave the airport like prisoners even with 5hr lay over."
Pros: "Nothing really , service was ok but nothing special"
Cons: "The lounge was terrible , the food was average in the lounge , no international magazines or newspaper, the plane was so so so , food mediocre, entertainment was not good either ,"
Pros: "Don't normally like leaving from JFK, but it was a direct flight to Vancouver, and the price was right. Also, they included 2 free bags in economy, a big savings. Also the meals were ok, and wine was included. Entertainment system was fine."
Cons: "Would have rather left out of EWR, but for the price it was worth the bit of inconvenience."
Cons: "The Manila airport is a mess! Everyone tells you something different. No one seems to know where to send you. I've never in my life had to exit an airport on a layover to re-enter again and go through the entire check-in process from scratch. There are no signs anywhere that tell you you will have to go through security a SECOND time once you're at the gate. I'm diabetic and need to have water on me at all times. I can't get dehydrated. I had no clue I woudn't be able to take the bottles of water I PURCHASED AT THE AIRPORT!!! with me on the plane. I've never experienced that in all my years of flying. No other airline or airport has ever made you throw out the water that you purchased at the airport. So I wasted my money there. PLUS, the only vendor that had any sort of appetizing food that I could eat as a diabetic was a cash only vendor. They took USD, great, but they were using a conversion chart from May 2017 (I was flying in March 2018) so the exchange rate was in THEIR favor. And they won't give you USD in change. They give you Philippine money in change. So I get screwed on the exchange rate on BOTH sides of the transaction. Plus, what am I going to do with Philippine money when I'm only in the airport for a layover??? So I'm going to lose money again to change it back to USD once I get home. Archaic. We are living in the 21st century. This shouldn't happen. The plane was sooooo uncomfortable for a 13 hour flight. The entertainment system at my seat wasn't working so I had to be moved once we were in the air. The new seat was so worn in, there was virtually no padding underneath my saecrum (butt bone) for the 13 hours. No foot rest, either. And the temperature in the plane fluxuated the whole time between hot and cold (although mostly hot). You should take some lessons from Singapore Airlines.....so much more comfortable in ALL aspects."
Pros: "Service from the crew was excellent"
Cons: "I’m over 6 feet tall and the seating was cramped for someone my size. Full service international flights should have in flight entertainment systems."
Pros: "Friendly and very attentive flight crew."
Pros: "food when it finally arrived"
Cons: "waiting in plane 4 hours with no updates on status"
Cons: "They didn’t have snacks for Muslims which I had requested"
Pros: "On time Departure, quick flight. comfortable seat"
Cons: "No wifi. No entertainment"
Pros: "On time departure Short wait for checked luggage"
Cons: "No inflight entertainment. No inflight wifi Sparce terminal, very few food options"
Pros: "organized departure / arrival aircraft cleanliness pleasant staff great food & entertainment / free alcohol great leg room"
Pros: "Flight crew services are good"
Cons: "They should raise the baggage allowance to 20K. People travel to Palawan from all over the world and probably would bring home more souvenirs if they had a higher baggage allowance. Otherwise flight was great."
Pros: "On time! Good for Manila"
Cons: "PAL app didn't work. Put in screens!!"
Pros: "Comfortable, good selection of entertainment"
Pros: "Nice Economy ammenities-- new and responsive touch screens, small flight comfort items in a pouch, Filipino food options Attentive staff"
Cons: "Boarding in the Philippines was a litte confusing because the surrounding area was noisy and no one could hear who was supposed to board"
Pros: "Left on time, super friendly staff which is rare in my other options (usa carriers), the only non stop flight without layover available to me, faster than before by an hour, food really pretty good for airline food and lots of it. Good entertainment options for no extra charge. Did not get nickel and dimed over crappy movies and a bag of peanuts like USA based airlines love to do. Will use again as usual."
Cons: "Nothing except business class is so damn expensive. I would love to try it someday."
Pros: "Liked the smooth flight"
Cons: "Took too long at check in"
Pros: "It has a USB charging port, and it wasn't too full."
Cons: "When we arrived, we sat on the runway for about an hour."
Cons: "Was a good experience"
Pros: "The crew we're very friendly and courteous!"
Cons: "The leg room of the airline seemed less than other airlines I have flown."
Cons: "They only allow 7 kilos of carry ons. My bag is a carry on with every other airline in the world except Philippine Airlines. 7 kilos is crazy."
Cons: "the airport in Manila is terrible. Elevator broken so had to carry my carryon up 6 or 7 flights of stairs. Not enough seats for the voucher breakfast and the breakfast was mainly tiny and full of carbohydrates."
Pros: "quicker travel through customs"
Cons: "was not informed ahead of time the need for a Visa to enter Australia"
Cons: "My Check-in Baggage was lost"
Cons: "For the ticket price- I think that it would be nice to have more comfortable seats as the flight is a long one and it would also be nice if the crew make their rounds to check on the passengers and ask if they are comfortable"
Cons: "seats not very comfortable & food... how about a hamburger or sandwich or salad- food was too heavy."
Pros: "The crew was nice."
Cons: "No leg space , hard seat, no entertainment tv (only a tv of the 80s every 10 seats showing same movie over and over for 14 hours. Terrible!"
Pros: "The FA's are very polite & nice. The foods are just ok but a little salty."
Cons: "What I didn't like was flight always delayed. Our flight to Manila was delayed for 1 hour. And flight coming back here to U S was delayed for 3 hours. If the passengers are late on boarding they will charge a lot for re booking but if the PAL is delayed what? Just sorry for the delayed?"
Cons: "Budget air because knee space is very tight."
Pros: "Everything went as expected. Good job!"
Cons: "Not applicable."
Pros: "flight was on time, good service"
Cons: "check in to get boarding passes is very poor. had to go to sales office to get voucher then go to check-in counter to get boarding pass and check luggage"
