Cons: "Both the flights were delayed. No accommodation was offered. With two little kids we planned and even payed more to travel with this airline. Overall, experience was big disappointment. Our expectations were much higher than what we experienced."

Pros: "Wasn't full so there was space to street a bit. Stewardesses were polite and attentive - checking throughout whether drinks were required (on other flights they've disappeared between food services). Good selection of films."
Cons: "Although the good was actually alright in this flight, I don't like the fact that Emirates no longer do a vegetarian meal - I have to have a vegan meal instead, which often means things are just left off (not replaced) that I could actually eat, like cheese and biscuits, or a croissant."

Cons: "They recently started charging unnecessary excess fees for overweight. I traveled from Seattle to Hyderabad via Dubai. I carried my cabin bag from Seattle with weight of 9kgs and purchased few duty free items of 2kgs(2 liquor bottles and1 dates box). They have asked me to pay $150 for excess weight. One passenger traveled from Houston with a bag of 11kgs. Items include 1 laptop documents and tablet. She didn't shop in Dubai. She was allowed in Houston but was charged $100 in Dubai for same weight."

Cons: "The food was mediocre, at best. Odd food combination choices. I don't expect gourmet on a flight, so don't try to pretend you're serving it."

Cons: "Crew woke us up to ask us if we wanted food. I've only ever been woken up before for safety reasons (seat belts, etc) We were not impressed with the arrival in Dubai. We came in a large plane and had to deplane very far from the terminal onto buses, down a long set of stairs. They did not send enough buses so we waited on the hot outside stairs for about 15 minutes. It took us a full 45+ minutes from landing to get to the actual terminal. We were grateful we had a long layover or we would not have made our connecting flight!"

Pros: "The service was the best ever. Business class: The floor plan of seating was smartly laid out with plenty of room for storage. People were not crowded together and the food and drink were 5-stars!"

Cons: "Passenger seated next to me was bigger than the seat could take the whole flight it was u uncomfortable for me to even move an inch He was a smoker and smelt really bad I was told the seat next to me would be empty There was no space for my bag as others brought more than 1 piece of luggage with them on board The toilets weren't checked it was wet and dirty throughout Usually I fly 2/4 times in 60 days with emirates but this was the worse experience I had things on my tray before landing the hostess rudely asked me to put it in the pocket ahead of me as she didn't want to take it from me which is what I had originally requested for On the outbound flight I think your net package by mistake charged me Twice ! I strongly suggest if someone is bigger than a certain size then they should book 2 seats as 17 hours it wasn't easy for me to ask him to sit in a correct manner or have the handle half up so he uses my seat too Overall u satisfied and painful experience Net was slower on outbound too"

Pros: "The crew was both plentiful and friendly, both on the ground and in the air. The entertainment choices were outstanding - the best I've ever seen, including first class on other airlines. The food was excellent."

Cons: "D seats are exrremely uncomfortable. Leg space is as good as none. My knees were hurting as they were touching the seat infront of me. D crew gave very slow service. I was sick and needed hot water, even after calling for ur for more than 4 times , the crew constantly forgot about it. Food was alright. I dont see myself ever flighting back with Emirates jus for because of the seat discomfort and lack of leg space"

Pros: "Flight still arrived reasonably on time despite being delayed. Service is excellent!"

Cons: "I arrived only 10 minutes late to the initial check-in (even though many other carriers do not close the flight as early at Entebbe) after not being told the close time. I was then charged $600 to reschedule for the next day. I was very displeased with these policies especially after I checked in online and arrived with plenty of time to board the flight (one hour ahead of time)."

Cons: "This was my first time flying Emirates, and my very first flight from JFK to DXB was so late that I ended up missing my DXB-DEL connection and had to waste over 8 hours of my time and bear a lot of discomfort"
