Cons: "It turned out that we were on stand by (without anyone telling us until the morning of the flight) and did not know if we were going to fly out. We could not select any seats at check in and only found out our seats a few hours before the flight. It was quite unpleasant and stressful as my husband and I were flying with our two children and faced a real possibility of not being able to sit together or getting bumped off a flight all together. It was a code shared flight between Lufthansa and United and each airline kept sending us to the other to get any answers or help. neither were helpful. It made it for an extremely frustrating experience."

All seats were middle seats and cost more to have an isle seat. Cost extra $500 to change so family was together. 3. No communications that flights were American Airline flights leaving LAX from American's Terminal, not Bradley. Only found out when calling ANA to change seats. 4. ANA could not change seats so had to call American. All-in-all this was a terrible experience in ticket purchasing."

The Economy Plus seats may have an extra 3" per side and it's awesome! Plus, United partnered up with ANA for my first leg to Manila and that plane was spectacular, as was the top-notch crew!"

So you show up to the airport and your flight lands with way more then enough time to get to work that day and younprint your ticket to find out you have no seat. That's because they sold more seats than they have incase someone didn't show up. But everyone did show up. So of course they find you another flight in LA which is a good 3+ hours away so you can spend another 3 hours to get to your gate to wait 2 more hours to go to take of so you can reach your destination making you late for work and making you call out. Just because they wanted to make sure every single seat was filled."

Frankly it was a total loss of a day. The only chance to see my family. Should have arrived in Charleston at 6pm, and instead arrived at 11:45."

Pilot announced we'd be taxi-ing around waiting for gate, then a min later comes back to say we actually have a gate ready. Not sure why so many miscommunications."
