Airline reviews

It was absolutely awesome. The crew was welcoming to all, not just the first class. They were full of energy. The in-cabin music was an excellent choice, not boring like most airlines. We were ready for takeoff ahead of time. Pilots were great. Smooth takeoff and landing. The plane was beautiful and nicely cleaned. This was truly a fantastic flight. I fly Delta and American all the time. I was apprehensive about Spirit. I will definitely be looking for Spirit first. Thanks for a great experience.

It was a short fight and even though we had a delay due to weather we arrived on time

My experience was okay. The flight did not offer even water without a fee. Also had to pay extra for my carry on, as I was told I had to check my bag, even though it said I had the option to carry on a bag when booking. This costed me an extra $100. Would likely not fly with Spirit again.

The booking was cancelled the next day. Spirit Airlines refunded Kayak cheapflay the full amount, but I was only refunded half. Costumer service is disgusting. Be careful. You can lose your money.

There should be a “Ticketing/Check In” section. A Spirit employee helped us operate the self-serve check-in kiosk, and he was very helpful. However, the ticket agent was another story. She took our (2) checked bags, but when placing them on the conveyor, dropped one of them - it fell over on the conveyor and broke the retractable handle. Two pieces of the handle broke away and landed behind the counter. She knew what had happened, but chose to ignore and moved on to the next person in line.

They are very particular about size of the bag. Mine is small bag and has wheels. Bag wheel edges are bit outside of the measurements bucket. They charged $99 as carryon bagage

The plane flew smoothly and the crew was polite and kind. We loved our flight!

The senior flight attendant was engaging, funny and made everyone feel at ease. She is an asset to your team.

Needs legroom for tall people. Needs to offer a glass of water.

Spirit canceled the flight, sent no notification and then refused to issue a refund. Trash airline, will never fly again.
