The ridiculousness of charging crazy money for bags especially when my first could’ve been put in one bag and be considered the one personal item I was allowed to have. I had lots of difficulty getting online and being able to pre-pay for a bag. since I was not able to I was then charged highway robbery fees at the airport. Everybody who works for spirit that I encountered today Terrible customer service. They don’t care and made me pay more than I needed to pay for my bags. I tried another counter and she literally did not listen to me. I try to explain the situation she didn’t listen she just wanted my ticket. Then told me what I already knew. Absolutely terrible customer service! Kiwi.com is even worse and cannot help you if your house was on fire kind of thing! Never ever will I ever fly Spirit again or a book with Kiwi.com! I fly a lot but this was the worst experience and most cost inefficient.
Received a notification saying our flight was changed from 8:45pm to 6:30pm. Even verified it with a spirit airlines agent. Not only did the flight not leave early but we were late leaving.
Seats were wide and comfortable with plenty of legroom but the ventilation/ air exchanges in the plane wasn’t great.

Pros: "When I went online to choose a seat the only choices I had were either $50 seats in the front of the plane or $30 seats by the emergency door. All other seats were blocked out so I assumed the flight was completely booked. Turns out that of the 120 or so actual seats on the plane only about 86 were occupied. I would never have chosen to sit in the emergency row but I had no choice. Quite a scam. Even the flight crew were surprised at this one."

Cons: "The flight was canceled 15 minutes after boarding was supposed to have started. This was at 11PM. We were told to go back to the ticket counter and see if other arrangements could be made. Another flight was also canceled at this time. It took us until 3 am to reach the ticket counter. When I got there the ticket agent asked if I could take a video of the lines for her to send to her children. After declining a 7AM flight with three stops that would have taken us to L.A. first and had us land in Baltimore at midnight, we were given tickets out on Jet Blue, a real airline, the next day at 10AM. We were also given vouchers for 3 meals, a taxi ride to and from the airport, and a hotel. However, no restaurant in the airport would take the vouchers and neither would the taxi back to the airport. The taxi was even the same company that took us to the hotel less that six hours earlier. Spirit barely had any communication with us on any of this. There was never an explanation for why the flight was canceled. They also allowed people to jump the line and get vouchers, slowing the overall process. It is safe to say I will never fly Spirit again, no matter how cheap it is."

He read it so fast and mumbled his way though the script that it was practically unintelligible. I don't know how anyone whose first language is not English could ever have understood it. This is a safety of hih importance and he clearly thought it was great fun."
