Qantas does not honour the e-ticekts from Emirates and will NOT allow you to preselect seats online. You have to hope for a good seat at airport checkin. Too bad, as I would have been prepared to pay extra for a seat upgrade."

"Hello I flew with 3 members of my family first class from Kuwait to London on the 16th of September and unfortunately we were very unhappy with our trip because of : No wifi The leather in seat area was scratched. The food was not in first class standards. The movies were old. When we reached London customs we had to stop in a very long waiting line ( no fast track ). On my way back with my wife on the 20th of October we experienced the following: We had to go all the way from the Concord lounge to gate C by ourselves ( while with other air companies we use a limousine to go directly the airplane ). And then we had to wait in a long line ( with the other economy class passengers ) to get to the airplane. Although I told the lady ( land crew ) that I’m a first class passenger and she replied rudely you missed the fast track and you have to wait with the other passengers. In Kuwait we had to wait for a long time to get our luggage ( the economy class passengers took their luggage before us ). Saying all the above I have to be compensated. Thanks"

Pros: "My trip had two legs, Austin to Heathrow and Heathrow to Riyadh. The crew from Heathrow to Riyadh were great. I wish I could say the same about the crew from Austin to Heathrow."
Cons: "Overall, the flight was fine. My comments are relative to BA 1st class. At best, I would rate it in the middle of the business class flights I've flown on other airlines. There is nothing about the experience that is actually 1st class from a separate lounge, to boarding, to in flight meals. The seats on my planes were worse than Turkish Airlines Business class (among many others). Storage around the seat is also FAR worse than other airlines products,even in business class. I had taken the same flights in November and 95-98% of the entertainment options were the same. There were, maybe, 2 new movies and 2-3 new documentaries/TV shows. The in seat charger only worked on one leg. Several meal options were "sold out." Mediocre at best."

London to hyderabad flight was too cold. If the temperature was adjusted above 72 degrees it would have been appreciated. London to hyderabad flight was cramped up. Not at all spacious, my knees started to hurt after the flight."

Cons: "British Airways pilots are horrible. Every time I fly with them it feels like I'm a part of a spoof reality show where they let special needs kids land the plane. Secondly, I exchanged my round trip ticket because their flight time changed and some genius cancelled my return trip and it took me 1.5 hours to figure it out. That also caused me to walk around BWI twice from American Airlines to British Airways. Lastly, NO PRECHECK!? Dumb. Flight attendants were great...everyone else is bad."

This caused me to be charged a $275.00 late fee for my ticket and my friends. Since i lost my phone when it fell out of my pocket onto the train tracks as i entered the heathrow express i wasn't able to transfer funds to pay for the $550.00 worth of ticket transfer fees. It was a huge issue but eventually it was sorted. Not knowing if you will be able to get back to your county or not is a very stressful experience. Wish i could get my $550.00 back. Cons: "we didn't get a snack before landing we only got a drink. we were only given food at the beginning of the flight and it was an 8 hour flight. I was not able to change my flight for this trip had to do it at the counter; but the friend who i was traveling with did have the ability to do so. I went early to the airport in Johannesburg to ensure we could sit together but the workers in terminal A sent me to terminal B (even though they were closed and didn't open until 3) then i went to the ticketing desk and they said they couldn't' help me. so i ask them to call British Airways help desk (since i didn't have a phone internationally) and they said they were closed on the weekend. I wrote the gentleman's name down but i don't have it with me right now. I was finally able to get my seat changed when i checked in at 6pm; lucky there were seats available. I would say the customer service at Johannesburg airport for BA is terrible."

We had no bread versus other passengers and had fruit for both desert and breakfast. A little imagination goes a long way, normally only the main is different but this experience was very underwhelming."
