The seats were shaped uncomfortably, I needed a blanket behind my back to not be slumped. The stewardess were friendly and exceptionally kind to my kids.
Pros: "The crew was awesome. At one point the attendant said the sky didn’t have its morning coffee (because of turbulence) and it was really cute and really funny and just made me laugh through the stress of turbulence."

Cons: "I was late to my first flight from Dallas to LR due to my flight from Spain coming in late. I got off the plane and there was also another connecting flight printed for me. I thought "wow that is amazing sevice! I am def going to brag on them." I should have done it myself... after a 30 hour traveling day.. I got to the counter to get on my second scheduled flight home, and it wouldn't let me on because something with my Rickey was not working on the computer. The person did not know how to fix it so I missed the flight. After calling a supervisor, and that said supervisor never showing up, someone else finally happened to walk by and helped the original person fix the problem. Finally after waiting 5 hours total, I was on my flight home. The first flight was amazing but this flight makes me question if I want to ever use American Airlines in the future."

Cons: "Attendants made a big deal about expected significant turbulence...enough to say "now if your last chance to leave the plane" and suspend final beverage service. Turbulence was not bad at all and all they offered was water and juice after the initial service. Crew was short with passengers and movie selections were pretty lame. I was interested in the last movie, but it was shut off half way through."

United is my favorite. They are so much better with service and staff and landings. I've been flying with them for over 40 years. The seats are the only thing that could be better by being a little bigger. Otherwise, fantastic flight.

I asked for my original seat back but was told by the gate agent that it was taken, for unknown reasons. It turned out, 16C remained empty for the entire flight. Flight crew said they did not know why the seat assignment change. I suspect it was done so that the passenger in seat 16D would have the row to herself. I would be very hesitant to fly United again after this treatment."

Cons: "I am 5'10" and my knees were pressed into the seat in front of me for the entire trip. Essentially, I didn't fit in the seats."
Cons: "I received somewhat bad service at every point of contact with United. My flight was canceled in Houston, so I forced to stay overnight. I asked the rep at the customer service station if United pays for a hotel room if our flight gets canceled, I was told no. There were several canceled flights, do all the hotels were booked in the area. It was up to me to call every hotel in a 10 mile radius at midnight to find a room. I had to come out of pocket 150 dollars for the room and I missed work the following day due to my canceled flight. I was forced to stay in a hotel room with none of my clean clothes, no toiletries. I was told by a united rep, "we get off at midnight so you won't be able to get your suitcase today". All in all, it was one of the worst flying experiences I have ever had. I would like some one to call or email me."
Pros: "Nothing besides I got a little compensation for my inconvenience. I had about 5 gate changes and my friends had to drive from Austin to Houston to get me after they cancelled our flight at 2 am. They had no clue when the next flight would go out the next morning."
