Crew is phenomenal. Helpful with anything you may need. Lots of entertainment options. Food was good. On time, no complaints.

There should have been a breakfast served prior to landing, but no food service after 1 a.m. though flight arrived at 7:40 a.m. Timing of meals was not convenient for me at all. They wake you up at 1 a.m. for your main dinner. I would have preferred to sleep until 5 a.m. then have a good breakfast. The amenity kit in Business Class was substandard when compared to other airlines"

Cons: "For business class SQ, the crew service was severely sub-par. Seat arrangement same as in bigger 777, so actual space is much shorter and therefore uncomfortable for sleeping and lounging."
Pros: "I didn't like the trip much. After the trip we found out that our body was bitten by fleas. Our body is now full of rashes, every part of my body is so itchy. We was seated in 61A and 61C, seems like in the previous flight a dog was sitting there or some kind of animal that left fleas in the sit."
Cons: "Please clean better the seats. This is unacceptable, not a good way to start a trip in Japan. We only hope to get better sitting in our last flight with SQ, from Japan to LA."

Cons: "The leg room was horrible. Honestly the worst space I've ever had in a flight. I was shocked considering Singapore air is considered one of the best airlines"
Pros: "Lie-flat seats in business class"
Cons: "4 hrs delay due to failure of Singapore Airlines to have a working plane on site at the appointed time. Even worse: chaotic deplaning with one crew member telling passengers to deplane and another yelling at them in the bridge for doing so. A mess of lines trying to get a new boarding pass for a rebooked missed connection—at the front of the line the agent said oh, you need to wait in this other line. Agents had no clue where to direct passengers and gave incorrect directions that necessitated more waiting. No updates to new flight time in the business class lounge. Once the flight was in the air, service was terrible. Attendants would ask for orders, then never bring them or bring the wrong thing."
Would have liked working outlets on the flight. The first meal was very bleh, the second meal was a lot better so overall okay meals
Cons: "Chose emergency exit on Cathay 777-300. Terrible.. was squished like a sardine! And I was in window seat... was not even able to eat! Worst economy class I have been in years!!! Never again...."
Pros: "The crew were very attentive and the pods are comfortable."
Cons: "Why would I have an access to the Cathay Pacific VIP lounge at Gate 65 when my boarding is more than a mile away at Gate 3. There was a VIP lounge at around Gate 4, why was I not given access to that one? As it was I almost missed my flight because of the one mile scramble from the VIP lounge."

Cons: "The second security check before boarding had people jumping from their seat section to be checked, as the security staff weren't concerned about people's seating priority. It also seemed a couple of economy plus ladies sat in business class."

Cons: "The airplane seemed a bit outdated. A WiFi option would have been more pleasant. Crew spoke only English, not the classic Cathay Pacific experience to HK."

Cons: "This airline would not even let me check in and board my flight. I had a delay on another airline getting to my flight, but was still at the check in counter 45 minutes before my scheduled departure. And was told i was not allowed to take the flight. So ridiculous. Worst customer service imaginable."
Cons: "I am 175cm and could not fit my legs behind the seat. It was extremely uncomfortable."
Pros: "Still have not flown out of Vancouver...24 hours later. Flight was delayed because of fog apparently but all other planes were landing and my connection had just landed in it. They did a terrible job updating everyone, no announcements were made so people individually had to go up to the counter. Finally after 2.5 hours of delays they said they just decided to cancel the flight and there would be another one at 7am the next morning. Once everyone got to the check in counter with their luggage they had 2 people dealing with everyone and the line up was all the way down the airport. All they needed to do was gift hotel information which was alittle slip basically saying try one of these 3 hotels. The staff member I dealt with was so confused as to why i had my checked buggage eventhough all 100 people in line had theirs and we were told it would have to be rescheduled and tagged for the morning flight. Seemed crazy how someone who worked for the airline was very confused, I spent 5 minutes explaining it to her then she ran away for 5 to speak to her coworker and came back to say I was correct. They then told everyone who was connecting in Hong Kong to call this 888 number to book their connection. The number tells you to leave a voicemail if you’re basically not calling for accounting or finance! I left a voicemail...of course no call back. You can also reschedule online it says, so I tried and it tells me that my ticket number isn’t correct eventhough it is! It’s the same one on my boarding pass and on my electronic boarding ticket. I decided I’ll just have to wait till I’m at the airport for my 7am flight...wake up to go for the 7am flight and they have delayed it AGAIN until 4pm. We are staying at an airport hotel and you can here planes consistently flying in...not sure the issue. Overall, experience has not been a good one. Staff is confused and communication is poor. I’m feeling doubtful we will ever make it to Hong Kong and Bangkok at this point."

Pros: "Boarding was in order which started from the last to the front of the plane which was excellent since congestion was reduced and smoother flow of traffic. The food was good and tasty. The crew was attentive to passenger’s needs. The pilots did an excellent job specially in landing and take off. The ride was smooth."
Cons: "Cleanliness of the restroom which can be improved. The temperature inside the cabin was a little on the warm side."
Pros: "New Airbus 350-900 with excellent nose wheel and tail forward view where we watched our takeoff and landing. Enough choices on entertainment system to satisfy one on a 15hr flight. Lots of self serve snacks and drinks mid-flight."
Cons: "Flying in economics but that was my choice and long 4hr layover in HKG"
Pros: "Great experience! I'd travel HK Air again for sure but travel with kids on arrival. One issue on arrival at HKG was the shuttle bus, as there is no bridge to aircraft. The shuttle bus to terminal travels really fast around corners so definitely some strong swaying. This is out of HK Airlines control however."
Cons: "Never never booking with kayak again. You've caused me nothing but issues with checking in. And I paid extra to choose my seat but no record of that went to the airline so I am stuck with bad seats for a very long flight. Never again."

Pros: "Lots of room”for stuff”, so you aren’t digging in your attaché case all the time, almost like a desk area. We had eaten prior to departure so I asked to be served the meal later and they had no problem."

Cons: "My flight from guangzhou landed 20 minutes befoe the the flight from shanghai to orlando would leave. there were total of 12 passangers and they did not bother delaying that flight by just 20 mins. To get new booking on ticket it took over 2 1/2 hours."

Cons: "Despite leaving on time, the flight usually arrives about 1 hour behind schedule. We took 4 flights with Air China and all 4 arrived to the gate about an hour after scheduled."

Pros: "Air China does have excellent economy class prices on trans-Pacific flights. The planes themselves are not bad, and the flight attendants have been good. Overall it could be worse."
Cons: "Both their website and their check-in staff (at Beijing airport especially) can be terrible and frustrating. it is even difficult to manage flights that you book directly on their own website. The check-in staff are grumpy at best. Catering is as bad as it gets. The airline food is a throwback to the 1970s. Drink selection is poor--no fizzy water/soda water/seltzer. Only regular water, coke and sprite, and no spirits at all. Very bad wine and beer with only one choice for each: Great Wall wine, which is sweet and gross, and warm slimy swill beer. The airline could do better by upgrading the website system and having better staff training for customer service."

So I just decided to stay and check at the airport hourly hotel just so I could take a shower and sleep.. But it was full and waiting. So I'm here 2am waiting for my 6pm to Manila. This will be my and my last with Air China!! They are not customer and client friendly. This the mosr terrible flight I've been. Never again!"
