Cons: "Boarding was chaotic. There was another Virgin flight leaving Launceston at the same time so the lounge was very busy. Our flight was late while the other was on time and there were no announcements that our flight was delayed. The screen over the gate also did not show our flight details at any stage, even when it eventually boarded.. I'm familiar with Launceston airport so it was okay, but for someone not familiar, especially an international visitor, it would have been confusing as to which flight was which especially as no announcement or visual display was given that our flight was running late."

I was somehow selected by the airplane for an upgrade flying to Bangkok which even elevate all of my experiences above. A great layover program definitely recommended!!!"

A minimum flight of 5 hours was served with just the one meal. We were served lunch at 930 am on one flight. The observations in economy aren't as important as business class. Only if we could all afford to travel on business class."

Cons: "On the dreamliner flights they have tried to cram a ton of seats in so if your over 5'8 you'll be very cramped with your knees under the seats and a strange headrest jammed I to your shoulder. I fly about 20 or 30k miles a year in economy and this is easily the most uncomfortably designed seat I've been in. More over the staff was incredibly dismissive and rude to all I witnessed then keep a older woman waiting for 45 mins for water and then dismiss her when she asked a second time. The check in staff was no better."

I asked to reschedule the booking instead and they told me that rescheduling will cost me more than the price of the original ticket! Now I lost the money I paid! I will stop booking my flights through kayak going forward. I am not happy with the service and the policies do not make any sense. This was a waste. I am very disappointed. I had a serious personal reason to not to fly and nothing was taken in to consideration. I will pass this to all people I know."

I did not use this return flight as I was going to Europe for work. The flight coming to Montreal 7 days prior was flawless. There was a 50 min delay that was not unexpected. Nothing wrong on Kayak or Air Canada about this flight.

Air canada had no crew on the ground and over and hour wait for customer service on the phone so i had no way to find out what my reticketing status was. I was passed off to numerous other airlines and sent through the airport to the incorrect terminals in heathrow causing another missed flight. Air canada did not accept the responsibility to maintain my reservation and get me to my destination efficiently. Even when I spoke with a phone representative the person was rude and never sent confirmation of my flights so I had no reference point for flight numbers or air lines. All of his added up to more than 13 hours of delays on what was already a 24 hour trip. Worst travel experience of my life."

This was the tightest coach I've ever flown in, the seat ergonomics was horrible."

Cons: "First point of contact was incredibly rude. First she told me she couldn't find my reservation. Once she did, she gave me a lecture about my married name. Next she refused to let me take my carry on bag saying it was too large even though it fit on all flights to Montreal. Once I proved it would fit with the luggage sizer she had moved on to another customer and ignored me for 10 minutes while I stood there even though my boarding passes were printed. When I got to the flight, I found it could have been gate checked but there was no need as the flight was NOT FULL and my bag fit with no problem at all in the overhead bins. In 35 years of flying this was the worst experience I've ever had."

However, when I arrived in Vancouver, I made it to the gate of my original connection hoping to get on anyway, but because the agent in Beijing changed my connection before I left, my original connection was full and I was stuck in Vancouver airport for 5-6 hours. Complete waste of my time and completely unnecessary."

Cons: "previous flight was late so we had to be rebooked. The line was insane with 3 agents. The 3rd said go to the other 2 lines. The second went on break leaving one agent. A manager came down and gave the sorry here is our corporate email speech to two girls in line but left without acknowledging all the rest of us waiting. It was a mess. When I got my ticket she was like here you go without explaining anything or a sorry. When I asked for a few details like am I in a hotel overnight or when do I leave she gave me an eye roll. When I got to the plane after traveling all day and waiting extra hours there was an empty row right in front of me. I tried to lay down but the attendant made me move because I hadn't booked comfort plus even though the flight I booked I would have been in Denver hours ago. Things happen but it's all how you deal with it and air canada does not deal well."

Cons: "The gate changed 4 times and there was confusion at final boarding. The Toronto airport TSA agents have absolutely no manners and need to be retrained or fired. Traveling has become very stressful and try make it worse. There was a Hispanic girl, heavy set with curly hair yelling at us to approach the scanners. I talked to her asking her to be gentle with us because we'd just flown for 7 hours and are suffering from time zone changes. Another yelled at my seatmate about his travel size after shave. She was a black Caribbean. She snapped at me about the importance of security and that he was rude for saying he didn't care that she'd throw his stuff away. I told her that he said he didn't care because he's tired and quite frankly, a trail sized aftershave that she doesn't approve actually doesn't matter and is nothing for her to get worked up about. Her colleagues were all staring at her as she started throwing her weight around and making unprofessional nonverbal noises. Then there the room where you weight for your name on the screen to appear if your number is 1 or 2. The people in there are extremely gruff. There was only one Hispanic woman who took my slip of paper that had my pic who said please and thank you. Then when you go to customs to get your passport signed, the guy at counter 10 starts arguing with me for no reason. I put 1 family member on the customs form. He asked if anyone is traveling with me. I said no. He clarified that one should mean an additional person and not just me traveling. I said it wasn't clear and I didn't know. But he decided to get argumentative with me about it until I said ok and walked away. Your TSA process is a nightmare. I did not experience that at Heathrow, Vienna, Or Tel Aviv (all places that have recently experienced terrorism). I didn't even experience it in my arrival town Denver. Toronto TSA is very very poor."

I feel weird for Kayak choose my flight from Vancouver to Toronto and then to Raleigh. But I feel it would be ok if the ticket is financial. But, I was rejected by Air Canada because of that...And I need to pay more than 7000 RMB for another flight( there is $250 change flight fee). I feel terrible honestly! Time and money are what important for me and at last I've got neither of them."

Cons: "Connecting flight was repeatedly delayed. Then finally cancelled because no crew was provided by the airline. Since this was only announced so late - after midnight - hotel rooms were no longer available we had to try to sleep on the floor in the departure hall. Maybe ok for 20 year old travelers. Not for 75 year olds like me who paid business class fare so as to hopefully avoid some of the rigors of travel. I managed to catch up on some sleep the next day in the business lounge while eating for my rescheduled connection. Still it has taken an additional period to physically recover from this experience."

Wow, talk about being crammed in like a sardine. I'm a male of average height and usually this is a blessing because it feels as though all vehicles, amusement rides and doorways are custom made just for me with the exception of Air Canada planes. I have never in my 300+ number of flights ever felt so confined in any seat. The distance from my knee to the seat in front of me was a claustrophobic finger length at best. Getting up to use the restroom required the other passengers to get up, and I had to stand and walk across their seats to get in/out. Luckily the lady next to me was nice enough and the flight was pleasant overall, but I will certainly think twice before booking another Air Canada flight!!!"

The flight was supposed to get to Abidjan around noon, but because of the delay, we missed the connection and the next available flight was the next day which would mean I missed my next flight and a work conference. In Delhi, the Ethiopian Airlines people assured me that it could be worked out in Addis, and that they could change my final destination to get me where I needed to go. However, in Addis, the employees were rude and did not even read the email that the Delhi people sent them. They would not do anything except send me to Abidjan the following day, which was useless since I already had to be in the US by then. The level of service is incredibly poor and disorganized, with many people having to wait for hours to even talk to someone and no information about what needs to be done. In the end, i had to purchase a new ticket to get to my destination. Had I known this was the case in Delhi, and that i would have to purchase a new ticket, I would have done so in Delhi rather than waiting all night and going to Addis. I fly very often and this is both the worse experience and service I’ve ever experienced on a flight, and they weren’t even able to get me to my destination."

Because of that no one showed up for the flight and there are no direct flights tomorrow that they would put us on! My father recently had a heart attack and this is causing him immense suffering! Additionally patient with emergencies are waiting to see my husband tomorrow and Tuesday but will not be able to because he stuck at the airport! They are refusing to put us on an airline us direct flight tomorrow! Also we have spent at least seven hours on the phone and misleading (and that’s to put it kindly) statements have been told."

Pros: "I was a bit hesitant to fly Ethiopian Air for such a long flight (Dublin to LAX) however it turned out to be the best leg of multi-segment trip (all other flights were Aer Lingus or Delta and Ethiopian Air was far superior to both of those carriers). Flight attendants were friendly, the physical space was comfortable and spacious, the food was plentiful and delicious. Movies offered were relatively new and the IFE worked well. This flight is a continuation from Addis Ababa to LAX so when we boraded in Dublin most people were already onboard. It was a bit difficult to find space in the overhead bins but with a little rearranging of smaller packages by other passengers, we were able to fit our carry-ons in the overhead bin near our seats."

So I pulled out my tablet with the united airlines app and showed him the image of the empty business class seat that I would like to purchase on the seating map available in the app. He told me that he had no option on his computer screen to sell me the seat. I asked him where could I go or who could I ask to get the seat. This back and forth continued for some time where he kept saying he could not sell me the seat but I would then say, “I understand that, but do you know who can or where I can go to find someone who knows where I can buy an upgrade?” The attendant got VERY VERY upset that I was even ASKING. As if I were asking for some OUTRAGEOUS request!! I asked to speak with the manager several times. He continued by ignoring me and just saying NO! Finally he pointed to some lady beside him. I don't know if she was the manager or not, but she was on the phone and barely gave ten seconds of a glance to the situation. He asked me"Are you gonna go or not?" I could tell that he cared absolutely nothing about me or my request and was extremely dismissive in asking me this. Finally, he dismissively told me to ask the flight attendant. I could tell that this young man would be of no further help AT ALL, so I gave my ticket, went on board and thought to just try and ask a flight attendant. Right before I went to give my ticket to the man who was taking tickets, I heard the boarding gate man walk away mumbling how ANNOYING I was in Chinese. I know this because I SPEAK Chinese. This is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I continued to go on board hoping the flight attendants might actually have some information. When I asked, who I thought was the flight attendant, about purchasing a seat, it turns out that she was the customer service agent on the flight, she gave no effort to even try to hear what I was communicating to her. I know about communication and as a public speaking instructor, I know how to listen and to speak. She continued to raise her voice and talk over me, although I remained very calm and tried talking to her logically. I tried to communicate to her that I was attempting to purchase one of the empty business class seats that I had seen were empty. I checked the seating of the flight from the united airlines app before I had even boarded the plane. The lady continued to be very rude and uncaring. She talked over me, did not listen, her responses did not make sense, she very loudly kept asking me " CAN YOU UNDERSTAND THAT??" as if I was a child or as if I was confrontational when I absolutely was not. I didn't get to Denver until 1040am missed my flight and didn't get to get on my connection until 500pm. In the meantime I called to get on a different flight at 1, but the guy on the phone didn't actually book me a seat. The gate people weren't very nice."

Another passenger opened an empty one and the crew came over and closed it right away, though many people were still boarding. What's going on?"

I spent extra money to take a bus to downtown Denver and a grayhound bus to the springs and a cab to my home. So my trip cost my an extra $55.00 dollars I didn't have. I have always taken United but after this experience, I will never again take United."

Cons: "I travel for work from Grand Junction, Colorado to Dickinson, North Dakota every 4 to 6 weeks. I always fly United. On one occasion I met family in Colorado Springs, so I bought a round trip ticket from Dickinson to Colorado Springs. I missed the second half of my round trip flight from Colorado Springs to Dickinson. I had to pay my own cab fare from Colorado Springs to Denver to catch my flight, because your plane, that i paid for a flight on, had mechanical issues and didn't make it to Colorado Springs. Second, my flight in Denver was cancelled 3 times and almost a fourth. I all but got down on my knees and begged to catch the fourth flight they tried to cancel. Third, I didn't even get to fly into Dickinson. So instead of somebody coming and picking me up in Dickinson which is a 30-minute drive from where I work, somebody had to drive 3 hours to Williston where you guys ended up getting me. Which cost me 3 hours of gas money to get picked up, instead of 30 min of gas money. I didn't get either of the flights back to North Dakota that I paid for. I've asked for the reasonable request that I be refunded 50% of the cost of the airfare and the $235 it cost for cab fare. When I contacted United about this I got the runaround from everybody. At this point I've pretty much accepted the loss, and the financial hit. I'll continue to fly United only because it's pretty much my only option. Just make sure you keep the crew around. They're great. I'd hate for the experience to go from unsatisfying, to miserable."

I don't check my phone or email while at work. Fortunately, your staff was quickly able to put me on a flight that left an hour and a half after my original flight, but would put me on a connecting flight with American Airlines in Chicago. The AA flight had engine trouble so it turned around and we borded another plane after we landed. The original flight would have had me to my destination by 9:30 pm. Instead I arrived at 1:08 am the next day. I am frustrated that my flight was canceled so close to my departure. It was a great inconvenience to those picking me up at the airport. It added to my stress. It made it much less likely that I will fly United again. Maybe you had good reason to cancel my flight at such short notice, but it severely tainted my experience and opinion of United and American Airlines which had been fairly positive until now."

The instructions read "To claim the currency compensation, passengers must have a debit card issued in mainland China and marked with Union Pay!" If you are not a Chinese resident, you are out of luck!!! Americans be warned: Fly Air China and be treated a second class passengers!"

I'm pretty sure we just asked if upgrades were available and the guy at the counter gave them to all four of us complementary. Outstanding way to get return customers. ."
