Cons: "i had a surfboard bag that weighed 11lbs and my daughter had a surfboard bag that weighed 21 lbs and we are being charged $200 each both ways for a total charge of $800 round trip. This is an outragous fee for surfboard and other airlines specificly Alaskian Air, Quanties, and Virgin Australia have been letting us travel with surfboard bags for free that weight 3 times that much. I will never take Cathay Pacific again as we paid more for these flights because we had heard they do not charge for surfboard and they have great service. I had a total of $1200 fspending money for food and transportation for my trip to Bali. That leaves me with $400. Never again will I travel with Cathay Pacific and I will be spreading the word through social Media! Not a Happy Customer!!!"

We finally figured out what had happened and barely made it back to the plane before it departed for Kunming."

When I went up to the counter to make sure I did indeed have an exit row seat, the woman at the counter told me the plane size had changed and my exit row seat was no longer available. I even gave her my printed confirmation from AirAsia stating I paid extra and she continued to tell me it wasn't an option. I said that the number of the seat didn't matter, I just wanted my exit row seat that I paid for. She visibly rolled her eyes and told another attendant to accommodate me. Except she did it in a way like I was inconveniencing her. It made me feel very insignificant."

Boarding in Beijing for Manila was a free for all. Business class was not called first. Isn't this why I pay triple the coach fare? No English language newspapers from Los Angeles to Beijing."
