Even though it was wireless entertainment system the network speed was so slow.
No reclining seats? Seriously? Probably the first aircraft I have ever seen in my life where the seats don’t recline.
Excellent in flight service, was a short flight, we were served a meal and soft drink. Very comfortable seats. Will definitely fly Vistara again in the near future.

The Vistara World entertainment system wasn’t working although they announced it is available on this flight. Rest everything was awesome

UK 708 was an Airbus 320 Neo, one of the least comfortable planes. This was premium economy and the seats weren't really comfortable - but I always travel with a pillow to make up for that. The seat in Row 3 had plenty of leg space as it's behind business class. The food looked sad, and tasted as such too. I miss the old Jet Airways days. Four people at the Boarding were an overkill considering the fact that they didn't really follow sequential boarding. The flight was delayed by 15 minutes while taking off, but landed 5 minutes after original ETA.
It has been an excellent experience travelling with Vistara. Keep it up!!! You will have great times ahead.

Wait too long to check in bags
My connecting International was Qatar and allowing 15kg Carry, Vistara allowed 12.5kg only and made me throw 1 KG plus from my checkin too. Ordered Veg And Available option was Hyd Biryani and got some lemon rice with bad curry and dal.
Vistara had wrong information about the required pcr test I needed to transit Dubai. This cost me much stress and $40. Other than that, great experience on both airlines.

Cabin temperature was too low and uncomfortable
The trip was booked on a Premium Economy, I was moved to standard economy with no compensation. When I boarded the flight crew had already made someone else sit in my place who were reluctant to give me my seat. Quite a few people were found not wearing masks and crew did nothing about it. No choice of food in spite of me with a standard economy ticket that includes the option of food.
Pathetic ground staff and customer care. I paid for an upgrade 3 weeks before the journey, and I was downgraded with no reason.
Comfort and safety. At least packaged food could be served to Business Class passengers.
Surprisingly pleasant experience despite Covid-19 times. Food was too good!

No one seemed to bother about the pandemic and moreover no one checked if the passengers are fully vaccinated or not. Not a single pandemic rule is being followed.

Bag check is not as smooth as can be at CST Terminal 2. Passengers are advised to print out and attach boarding passes at home in a bid to avoid crowding at self-service kiosks given the Covid-19 public health crisis. However attendants then say tags need to be re-printed at the counter as the ones provided by the airline at the airport are more secure. While the check-in process is aided by the helpful staff, Indigo Airlines could do a better job of providing more self-service kiosks and clearer guidance during the online purchase process. Suggest calling ahead to confirm situation on the ground.

Cons: "My wife and I along with our 2 yr old son were flying AI 102 from JFK to DEL on 12th Dec 2017. Boarding happened on time at 1 pm EST and that was the last sane thing to have happened. First, there was some problem and flight got delayed, AI staff would not tell us what was going on and kept buying time with one excuse or the other. Soon this stretched to over 3 hours of sitting inside the plane while the plane did not move an inch from the gate. Finally they announced there was some technical problem that required a part replacement and as per the DGCA regulations, passengers would need to deplane. After deplaning, we were given a $10 meal voucher and told to stay close by the AI gate as the replacement part was already on the way and the plan would take off around 6 PM. As time passed, passenger's impatience started growing as AI staff just wouldn't share any concrete information. Suddenly around 6 pm they announced that the replacement part had arrived and engineers were working to fix it and that boarding would now start soon, all this while insisting that passengers stay close to the AI gate as boarding could happen any time. Around 7 PM they started the boarding, little did we know that this was merely an exercise in deception that was never meant to get us on the plane, but rather just meant to herd us to a much smaller hall downstairs with poor air conditioning where people along with their hungry starving babies and crying children could suffocate further. To make matters worse, there was no explanation provided by the AI staff still about what was going on, downstairs staff would say engineers are still working and the staff upstairs that was managing the boarding said they were under instructions from downstairs passengers to board the passengers. After about 45 mins of waiting, passengers finally lost their patience. When several Mom's yelled at the AI staff to provide clear cut information, the staff relented and sent the passengers back upstairs where there was better air conditioning and people could still move around. We were still asked to hang out close to the AI gate lest we miss the boarding that could happen any moment - this was still 8 PM. After another hour of wait, around 9 PM finally we got hold of the AI station manager who informed us that the flight had been cancelled. Upon being asked the next steps, he had no answer and asked us to get back to the departure ticketing terminals where they would provide further information. Long story short, the next 2 hours were AI's shoddiness at it's best. Utter confusion, misinformation from the AI staffers, unruly scenes at JFK that eventually required police to be called in was the order of the day. We finally got into an AI arranged hotel at 1 in the night - no dinner - with the promise of being flown out the next day at 12:30 pm. It's another matter that the flight next day could depart only at 3:30 PM, but we were thankful that at least it did. #NeverFlyingAirIndia"

So though it has everything still there is a touch of shabbiness all over the plane. They are not comparable to the top of the line Dreamliners that AI runs quite a bit. 3. Though the entertainment system was good, however, some of the remotes or audio outputs were not working well. Like my audio output was not functional at all. I changed the headphone and it still did not work. They suggested to use my own audio bud, however, I did not have one. 3. Limited beverage choice."

Finally took 4 of them at the desk to take care of it, and then we were so late couldn't get seats we wanted. Unbelievably bad! Beware!"

They never repeated any alcohol or soft drinks. Just one time and that too at the beginning. The aircraft was out of water for last 4-5 hours. It was like hell and even restrooms were part of it. Complete mess it was and I will never go with air India."
