The a330-900neo is an aircraft worth trying out. Comfort plus is premium select, despite the nice features, the backpack doesn’t fit well under the seat. The service to honolulu only gives snacks so make sure to eat a meal before flying the 5.5 hour flight.

As with the outbound flight, this return flight was not full - maybe 40-50%. As they started boarding they announced they located a few people the help with 'load a balance' of the aircraft. What they had done was to compress all passengers in the middle of the plane leaving no space between anyone. It is difficult to understand why everyone is required to wear Masks, then relocated to remove all space between passengers, when there was ample room to allow everyone to be seated with space between.

There saying they don’t touch anything that we enter into the booking but somehow everything they claim we entered is now in all capital letters and the space between our first name and middle name is now gone and all run together. The coustomer service number gets you to someone in India. I have tried to get this addressed four times now at first they tried to place the responsibility on the airlines now us and they have hung up on me twice. Kayak has been worthless, they also just pass the responsibility on to someone else. We will never use them again ant I intend to make sure that this mess is put out in social media to hopefully keep others from having their travel plans ruined by their flawed system."

We paid extra for the convenience of a direct flight Our flight was changed without notification to a connecting flight that was leaving 10 minutes earlier and arriving 2 hours later. The gate agent seemed to enjoy telling us, with our 10 month old baby, that we were too late. Our baggage, including car seat, had been loaded on the plane. We were reassigned to a flight the following morning. We missed a full day with family, had to travel back home without a car seat and return to the airport the following day. I was shocked and disappointed that not single Delta agent was accommodating or remotely helpful while we were at the airport. I've never had a problem with Delta before. We travel on regularly and would like to continue using Delta. I would like a voucher for my next Delta trip."

Cons: "The flight was canceled due to mechanical difficulties and British airways delayed helping us for 2 hours and then told us to use the phone 800 number to book a different flight. we needed to connect in London for the flight to Tel Aviv. The man on the phone barely spoke English and set us up with a flight that would not get us to our destination in time for our religious Sabbath Friday night. When we tried to explain the situation he hung up on us. We called back and tried to explain again we either spoke to the same man or another Indian man whom also spoke unintelligible English and he also hung up on us. In the mean time my wife spoke with the counter agents and they tried to find us another flight but by now other airline counters were closed. An hour later I tried the 800 number again and spoke again with the same Indian guy, when I asked to speak to a manager he gave me a hard time then finally said ok, put me on hold which I stayed for a while and realized he just put me on hold indefinitely. Finally after being in the airport for 9 hours we found a flight from United and a family member booked it online for us which we took to Tel Aviv and got us here only 2 hours later than our original flight which had a 12 hour layover in London and we were going to spend time touring but did not get to. As far as I am concerned British Airways has done a horrible job and no one should ever fly with them again. Unfortunately our flight home is with them I hope it goes smooth."

We had two seats in a three seat row, which would have given us a bit more room, but a woman was moved to the window seat with us, to accommodate a religious man who didn't want to sit next to her. Cons: "The flight was scheduled to arrive 2 hours before our connecting BA flight departed Heathrow. Unfortunately because of loading delays on our original flight, we arrived in Heathrow 40 minutes late. The crew said that 60 minutes is the designated minimum but we used all of the 80 minutes plus, and it airport was NOT crowded. If BA is connecting to BA, then you have a responsibility ahead of time to address this problem and keep connecting passengers from getting overly distressed in a strange airport."

Poor customer service upon arrival in Dallas with cancelled connection. Offered no compensation, connecting flight, hotel room or anything.

Lack of information re baggage delays on arrival. I know the airline cannot control the weather but it was chaos in the arrivals area. I waited for 3+ hours with limited information only to be told our bags were still on the plane and to come back in the morning. Seriously? It’s an hours drive each way if I’m lucky, not to mention I have to work tomorrow. Not happy.

Check-in was a nightmare. At least half the self-serve kiosks were out of printer paper so were out of service. It was chaos. No one was directing traffic, so you had to hope you were in the right line. We finally got to a kiosk and checked in, and printed one bag tag for checked baggage. We were in line to drop off the checked bag, and the lady working that station just walked away and didn’t come back. After we waited a bit, another person in line went to ask at the nearby counter if the bag check person was coming back, and she wasn’t, so we had to find a new line and wait all over again. Once we got our bag dropped off and our tickets, the rest was easy. The security line went quickly, and the terminal was clean and nice. Our flight was great and the flight crew was excellent. I think if someone had kept up with the kiosk printers, a lot of the check-in headaches and stress would have been solved.

The customer service changed my flight to go to Dallas/Fort Worth TX then fly to Narita Japan next day. They gave me vouchers for hotel stay and meal ($12) which are absolutely minimal compensation after all this headaches. They were unable to upgrade my seat since they’re full. Now the flight to Narita is 2 hour delay and they have changed the gate at least twice. I’m worried if I can get on the next connecting flight to Sapporo due to this delayed schedule. I feel like this whole trip is ruined because the delayed flight from Philadelphia to Chicago. This has been my worst and the most ridiculous flight experience ever. I don’t think I ever want to fly with American Airlines in the future."

The closest they could get me was a 10pm flight to charleston, then I had to rent (AND PAY FOR) a car and drive 2 hours to HHH in the middle of the night. The customer service people were less than helpful. They aren't allowed to help you make car reservation. My flight on the way back from HHH to BNA was a similar story. Thankfully my connecting flight was delayed an hour or there was no way I would have made it."

He must have had to clean a bathroom up that someone let loose in. I looked on the flight time register on the screen when I was locked in and we were 35 minutes out. Not quite a rule breaker was I."
