Travelers must complete a disclosure and attestation form before departure.
Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
Travelers arriving in New York State must complete the Traveler Health Form.
Travelers arriving in Massachusetts must complete the Massachusetts Health Form.
Travelers are advised to get tested 3-5 days after travel and stay home and self-quarantine for 7 days after travel. Even if they test negative, they must still stay home and self-quarantine for the full 7 days. If the test is positive, isolate to protect others from getting infected.

The lack of transparency regarding baggage fees is outrageous. I have had to pay hundreds of dollars in such fees after having had no such notice - and no inkling - that that would be the case. We call this a "racket" in the United States."

I pulled up many other flights out of Venice that would get me home in time and was told that there simply were no other options. The real explanation was that Swiss didn't want to pay out to get me home in time. I had to pay more money to get back into the city rather than sit in airport for 12 hours."

Cons: "5 minutes until boarding at JFK we were told to transfer gates; upon arriving by shuttle to the new gate, passengers were informed the aircraft was downsized and 20 people needed to be bumped. I volunteered since I had a flexible schedule so Delta re-issued me a ticket at 9am JFK for a 10am flight out of La Guardia. I trusted them I'd make it in time and they said they called taxis for us so we left to go catch them. Actually, no taxis were to be found so we had to call our own and were significantly delayed. I was in the first group of 5 people to be re-issued and arrive at La Guardia. Everyone else bolted but my new boarding pass didn't work and they actually didn't properly re-issue my ticket as I had been booked as leg 3 of my international flight from Malaysia. After they called three different departments including China they were able to print my ticket at 9:54am so I sprinted through the security and to my gate and was able to somehow make the flight as they were closing the door. However probably 14 or so of the original bumped passengers definitely didn't make it."

Finally, a "random inspection" led to a handful of passengers being surveyed by the German local police. Interestingly, a number of us were Hispanic Americans. The Lufthansa gate agent said she didn't think they would be checked again and to just have boarding passes ready. So I packed the passports on my carryon backpack and just had our 7 boarding passes for our family. Then at the end of the jet bridge right before getting on the aircraft, two people were checking passports again. I had to unpack them from the folder in my backpack. Not a big issue, but the gate agent gave me bad information and should have known we needed boarding passes and passports for boarding."

That was the start of one of the worst travel days ever - running through airports; and culminating the end of an anniversary trip with my husband and I having to sit separately in center seats for 8.5 hours. Perhaps spoiled food or the lack of the pre-ordered gluten-free meals left one of us ill for the week since. We did not receive notice of this and when we went to board we received new boarding passes. I was traveling with someone and so this reassignment meant not only that we were separated by that we were moved from an Aisle and a window seat together to both of us in middle seats. I understand that this change was out of ground crew control and so we waited to speak with agents about seeing if we could be seated together. While we waited patiently and were told that the only two seats together were both middle seats, the women who were waiting behind us and who were in the same situation as us (but much nor agitated and loud about the complaint) received upgrades to economy plus and were placed in an aisle seat. We were very disappointed with how this was handled and both of us being tall were very uncomfortable on the long flight."

Seatback video did not work for me, but I had no plans to use it as I needed to sleep on the flight. Excellent vegetarian dinner of vegetable korma, chickpeas and rice. Heated snack was not meatless, though, so as a Catholic flying on Friday had to pass."

Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

Some of the stewards (on the opposite side of the aisle) seemed very friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately, the two ladies on my side made me feel like a burden rather than a welcomed customer. - I guess it's, you get what you pay for...but I was just surprised at "breakfast" being tossed a box with a burrito--no napkin, utensils, plate, nothing. I won't be flying Aer Lingus again."

( I do need to add, however, that 5-6 hours into the flight, a passenger two rows back became ill which required that the row be vacated so I ended up with a young woman sitting in the middle seat next to me who announced that she was sick -- and looked that way.)"

My wife was in the back, I was in the front, and my two kids (ages 2 and 4) were split apart in the middle! Aer Lingus won't allow kids to be checked in online or over the phone so we couldn't address this until we arrived at the airport. At the check in desk, Aer Lingus personnel who are usually very accommodating told us "I'm sorry. It's a full flight. You'll have to talk to the flight crew." As if boarding a an international flight with two toddlers isn't difficult enough, now we had to do it without knowing where are seats were. All I can say is thank God for the accommodating passengers on our flight. The flight attendant was not helpful so I had to ask people myself."
