Cons: "Swiss Air allowed us to book a flight with 45 minutes to connect. First flight came in a few mixtures late, but then we had to wait our long turn to deplane, get on bus and wait for it to fill up with all slower passengers, drive to terminal, make it through passport control, take train to other terminal, and run 20 gates down where they were looking for us. We made it with 1 minute to spare from takeoff. They knew our bags were connecting and they made it. If they could've expedited our passage with a club car it would have been excellent."

From the comfortable seats, the fabulous dinner, the outstanding Swiss staff from the baggage check to the wonderful flight attendants, the flight to Zürich and the return trip to Boston was amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Swiss. I would love to be able to fly Swiss Business again when I travel to Zürich in September 2019."

Cons: "I landed at Zurich airport at 6am with an 11 hour wait and tried to get onto an earlier us bound flight. The ground crew were awful and rude!. The dint make any effort to smile, look at me in the face or ask how I was doing!. Instead she took one look at my ticket and said “ sorry you bought through an agent, I can’t help you”. When I tried to ask if in future it is advisable to book through Swiss airlines directly, the customer service agent looked at me and said “ that’s your problem”- then she turned to her friend and kept talking! Honestly! . The airport terminal E is grey, drab and boring. No TV and only 2 hour of WiFi. I was told I had to pay to use one of their lounges just to get a recliner chair to lay my head for 11 hours. I felt like I was in a holding cell- and the flight was delayed by an hour, had a gate change that they dint tell us till less than 1hour- boy was I glad to leave Zurich!. If that is Swiss hospitality, they have a long way to go. Save your money and use another airline. You will be much happier- trust me."
Pros: "The most difficult problem I have to deal with in airline transportation occurs when the fellow traveler in the seat in front of me decides to drop their seat back into my lap. The seats are so close together that when the seat in front of you is all the way back the following happens: 1. You can no longer view the monitor on the seat back. 2. You cannot eat or write from your tray top. 3. You have great difficulty getting out of your seat. 4. You have great difficulty keeping from severely injuring the occupant of that seat. The way to deal with this is to get out of your seat. Stand in front of the offending passenger and as politely as you can as him or her to refrain from dropping the seat back so far. But the airline should not put you in this situation."
Pros: "Unlike some airlines the cabin crew is professional in appearance and behavior- courteous and pleasant. My husband and I enjoy the fact that ski equipment is taken without additional charge. The direct flight to Zurich is very convenient."

Cons: "We had to Run from our arrival gate to our departure gate, and take a train, and go through immigration and then a second documents check. It looked to me like Swiss Air knew we were running close as the flight rarely (if ever) leaves on time. It was stressful for us and for the 30+ others who were still in line in immigration when the flight time passed. It turned out to not be a problem but the published times are unrealistic. Seats were tight and comfort in cattle class is NON Existent sleep on an 8 hour flight was not even possible."
Pros: "EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME BEFORE THE PLANE EVEN TOOK OFF!! My flights somehow got real messed up and everything down to my luggage had to be input manually. I wasn't sure if it was going to make it with me to the final destination. But it did! The head rest blew me away just as i sat. I love to know I can fall asleep and not have neck problems. And everything from the movies to the service to the food was great! My first international yet BEST experience in economy class was all worth it!"

Cons: "Because there was no way for us to check in early or online and they did not send us an email directing us to do so, they put us on standby even though the flights were paid for months before. We couldn't sit together--they wouldn't even try, they let the computer do it randomly as we boarded. They put my son through ridiculous strip search security measures, and when my passport fell into to the steel bullet of a garbage can, they didn't help and my son and I figure out how to go through it to get my passport. They could not have been more unhelpful. Plus the food was terrible, and delays both in taking off and getting to the gate. I will NEVER fly Swiss Air again."

Since I had passed through passport control, I didn't think I would need to go through again just before boarding. I was in line, ready to have my boarding pass scanned when I was told I needed to have my passport checked! I had to step out of line, go back and get my passport checked, then go back in line to board! I could not get an assigned seat until I got to Zurich. I needed an aisle seat (I had a bladder infection and would need to use the toilet often). It was left up to me to negotiate with my neighbor to switch seats--- the crew would not help at all. I was cramped in my seat. The man in front of me put his chair too far back; I was difficult to work on my laptop with so little room between me and the table. The snack was horrible---uncooked, tasteless calzone and ice cream."

The process just did not seem to be managed very well. There were issues with the tv monitors; however, the crew handled it very well. We arrived on-time, went through the line and were then placed in a standing room only area to stand and wait for another 45 minutes before boarding. We were placed near the entrance (I thought to board early as a family) but were later told to join another line when we asked why we sere just standing and waiting while other passengers were walking past us. The communication between staff and between your staff and passengers was poor."

Cons: "at check-in agent said we did not have coverage on our ticket for our 2 -50lb bags dispite informing her that we were covered and had no problem on our arriving flight to Portugal - we had to pay 196 Euros or leave our bags in Portugal Additionally we had ordered a wheelchair to assist my wife to the gate - which we also had our arriving flight - agent said she had no record of it. She said we could wait which we did and waited 2 hours to obtain a wheelchair (and came close to missing our plane) not to mention the stress associated with the whole check in process"

Our small luggage that we had to check never had any problems with any other airlines about being a carryon but since it was over 8 kg, it had to be checked. Took a 7.5 hour flight and the entertainment screen was not working for anyone, as the system was broken. Will not be flying with airline ever again."

Cons: "Me and my girlfriend were seated in the middle in a 4 seat combination. I asked the crew member to move us on an aisle seat. Even though there were plenty of aisle seats open, the crew member just kinda ignored us. The old lady sitting next to me just slept the whole time and I could not get out to the bathroom. Also since I am left handed I could not really eat since with the right-handed old lady we were hitting each other's elbow and nocking each the food out of each other's hand, I finally pulled my elbow in and ate like a T-Rex. The person in front of me pushed their seat back all the way, I asked the crew member to do something but nothing really was done, since I am a little taller I could not fit my knees, they were crushed."

Cons: "At the check in, despite that I have a swiss passport, 5)3 hostess looked solely at my face and assumed I need avisa and asked me three times for my visa. On the flight, blankets are removed 20-30 minutes before landing during which I was freezing. Upon arrival, my new bag i hadnt used as yet was broken and TAP pays nothing and does no kind of exchange for broken bags. Basically- they dont care! During my return flight, despite being checked in adn being at the airport wel ahead of time, the airport clerks gyided me to the wrong desk and I had to wait longer than needed. The check in for baggages had closed by 1 min. They were allowing me to take the flight only if I threw out all my liquids or else were off loading me. They proposed no other solution and wanted to make me pay 450 dollara to put me on the flight the next day. I had an interview the following day and needed to return. I ended buying a new full fare ticket with British airways and got excellent service. I am yet to complain to TAP."

Cons: "The crew was rude, after 5 hours they seemed annoyed when I asked for water and gave me half a cup after I had just finished vomitting due to all the swaying of the aircraft. While we were landing, we came over the runway maybe 100 feet off the ground then jetted back up and circled around the airport for 20 minutes before landing horribly...with NO explaination. Everyone started vomitting because the landing (both times) were so horrible. Our first flight was late, we landed when the second was 'closing the doors', they never updated the monitors or informed the crew that the second plane was also delayed (by over an hour), so we rushed through customs and ran through the airport only to discover they hadn't even started boarding yet, even though the screen said it had departed. Completely disorganized."

When the plane was almost finished boarding, I went to the desk to find out whether we would get on. They admitted they had "forgotten about us". We then took the arduous trek through passport control back out to the main terminal to rebook. The only option we were presented was a flight the next day, instead of our 9h direct flight from Frankfurt to Seattle this was going to be a 19h flight via a long layover in Chicago. I tried hard to work with the agent to find another option, and asked for the supervisor. She told me "this isn't going to help you". Horrible horrible."

In route to Frankfurt we were told visa machine wasn’t working and if you didn’t have cash you were not able to watch any but the 2 free family movies offerrred. Seems to me if the visa machine is not working the passenger should be given free in-flight entertainment but then again I think that one should get free movies on an international flight. The food was poor and we were not seated together as a family Without cajoling the staff. There was no apology given for separating us. We were placed on standby on our return flight and we’re not told until five minutes before boarding that we were getting on the flight. I would never fly this airline again unless I had no other option. If you fly this airline pay extra for premium seating so you can get an assigned seat and get decent food and in-flight entertainment"

I physically did not have a problem but my heart goes out to those traveling with several small children and attempting to carry them and carry bags on- difficult to nearly impossible at times. Additionally the seats are very close. When I sat down, my knees were touching the seat in front of me. Not the most comfortable, but I suppose doable."

Cons: "Vegan food wasn't actually vegan (yogurt is not vegan) and quality and taste were poor. Broken overhead compartment. Limited space to move about. More movies in economy (seriously ridiculous not to provide more entertainment to all classes on an overseas flight)."
Cons: "I did not like that my flight with Air Dolomiti did not leave on time."
Pros: "Safety procedures were outlined very well with German audio and English caption. It was a clever video and clearly made its point with one go. Soft pillows and warm blankets were provided. Only one selection for food made things flow smoothly."
Cons: "Entertainment provided was too limited for an 8 hour flight in my opinion. Two movies, one of which was animated, was an extremely slim selection. Also, entertainment was interrupted for the first hour of the flight as the audio was cut for a lengthy German announcement that was repeated in English. I felt like time was wasted when the same safety video was shown with English audio and a German subtitle. If there was a way to cut the second showing or display it in a different way, it could make the flight experience more enjoyable. The advanced headrest style wasn't implemented in the economy class. The long flight would have been more forgiving on my back and neck if the headrests could be the trifold model found on most modern airplanes. One meal type may have limited people enjoying or even eating their main cuisine."
Cons: "The free movies/tv were not even worth watching. For a nine hour flight I'd expect a bit more of a selection"
Pros: "Nice they give you two meals. They aren't the best bit they are well rounded. Polite staff stsfd"
Cons: "Movie selection is small. Delta's has a huge one this is like 30 movies. They are 8 euro each outside of the 2 they give you to choose from. Wish you had more options especially on a 11 he flight"

Cons: "First the ground staff didn't allow people with disabilities to pre-board, Second, the seats were so crammed together, like I've never seen on an international flight, third the entertainment options were pathetic and alcohol wasn't free. I've paid less for tickets and gotten way more. But what was truly appalling was the fact that I asked the airport staff for a wheelchair and they wouldn't give it to me, I could barely walk and they ignored my request in Frankfurt."

Cons: "Seats were so crowded. I am only 5 9 1/2 feet tall, but my knees touched the seat in front of me! Also - why not provide more movies? Other international flights always provide more entertainment. Plus, one shouldn't have to pay to choose vegetarian food."
Pros: "Despite being late coming into Seattle, the flight largely caught up and arrived only a few minutes late. Staff was courteous."
Cons: "Staff made no effort to check on kids after I asked specific info such as the Condor advertised child coloring pages or other seemingly little things for adults - but that would have made a big difference to children. I also paid for premium meals and was told there were none available - mind you I paid for them ahead of time. I also paid for premium entertainment, again the available features left much to be desired."
Pros: "Being fed. Attentive flight attendants. In-flight entertainment. Phone chargers"
Cons: "Our first leg of the trip was canceled by CONDOR. We had to frantically get help from a general ticket counter for our flight from Rome to Frankfurt. It was an epic ending to a horrible flight experience. Because our flight to Rome was beyond awful, we asked for a free seat upgrade and were told that they are unable to do that. They have zero customer service and don't seem to care about the customers at all."

Cons: "Ok...... I was the only Black person on this flight!!! So between the guest that thought I was not supposed to put my seat back because that made his 12yr old behind uncomfortable to the flight attendant that thought I should keep my knees smashed into the seat in front of me it was very uncomfortable for 11 hours!!! So the boy behind me played kick my seat for 3 hours while his mother who sat across from me found it funny!! Considering I am a black woman and the only black person on this flight I did not want to end up dead or brutally injured if I spoke up to the flight attendant again about this young boys behavior!!! I have flown Condor several times and usually enjoy flying with condor/ Thomas Cook!! But this was one of the worse flights yet!!"
Pros: "Nothing. Company 21+ hour delay with no info provided."
Cons: "Flightfrom Seattle to Munich was "delayed" by 21+ hours. Company refused to provide info on connections until we arrived in Munich, and then only after an unguided search for the Lufthansa (not condor) info desk elsewhere in the airport. The flight crew had a connections list, but refused to announce the info. The company agents on the US side were contractors who stood behind an empty counter. They didn't/couldn't turn on the airport computers to help, suggesting we guess or connections using the internet. After a full day's delay, I was only able to give my host a 1 hour heads up regarding my arrival time, inconveniencing her too. Unbelievably indifferent staff attitudes. Terrible service all around. Don't fly Condor, and consider avoiding Lufthansa for tolerating such awful treatment if their less-moneyed customers."
Pros: "Nice Crew"
Cons: "Discount airline that doesn't hide it. If you don't upgrade to premium or business class you have to pay for movies (absurd for a 11+ hr flight) and even then selection is pretty limited. No alcohol included with coach seats, credit card machine was down so any extra items you wanted to purchase had to be made with cash. Seats had little to no legroom, at 6'1" my knees were pressed up against the seat in front of me the entire time and the seat was very stiff."
Pros: "Long line through customs , which caused delays to boarding overall was nothing different during the process of the whole trans action of flight 2082."
Cons: "Only 2 movies to watch, kids were bored after that"

Cons: "Checkin was chaotic. Was trapped on the plane for 4 hours after boarding before the plane took off...on a 12 hour flight. Screwed up my entire holiday schedule."

The check in process and security process at Frankfurt are one of the least efficient I've ever seen."

Cons: "Seats are quite small and I could not upgrade Uncomfortable for a 10 hours flight Meals were poor. You have to pay for alcoholic drinks. Kind of low cost airline treatment. Storage for cabin luggage is very small. They have a 6kg limit and size is smaller that on regular airlines. This info is somewhat hard to find when purchasing the ticket. They only have 2 movies included, a decent entertainment package was quite expensive The plane left late but caught up during the flight I will avoid this kind of experience"

Cons: "The time between meals was really long so by the time I got the second meal I was truly hungry. Having your stomach rumbling in public is embarrassing. The pace at which the food was served was also an issue. It also took over 40 minutes to be served aftter they started to serve the meals"
