The flight was delayed multiple times. I had to buy a new tickets (4 tickets) for my family for a total of $5200 cnd And missed thanks giving with our family. Very very poor and disappointing service.

Room on aircraft was nice main cabin. Interaction with cabin crew could of been nicer....only seen them once

Incompetent crew at the boarding counter. Never flying AA again.

Pros: "At 6’9” tall, it was decent"
Cons: "Not on the flight"
Pros: "Good crew and service"
Cons: "Tough landing at DC but it was the wind"
Pros: "Everything was on time considering the heavy Holidays travels."
Pros: "Air Crew was professional and polite - flight was quick and lasted less than 90 minutes in the air, was overall enjoyable"
Cons: "Gate attendant was fairly rude (could be a result of holiday travel stress) - several travelers didn’t speak English fluently, and she would snap at them or roll her eyes they weren’t comprehending instructions. Boarded extremely early (almost an hour) but sat on tarmac for some time - eventually took off about 20 minutes late. Not airlines fault and likely result of holiday backlog Retrieving baggage from plane was biggest issue - use a carry on to but was required to valet bag as opposed to storing overhead. Baggage unloading was late (again, holiday backlog) but no personnel were available to inform passengers of delay, and bags were not in initial cart. Resulted a delay of offloading by roughly 20 minutes. Was ultimately found in the second wave of luggage, and witnessed baggage handlers tossing luggage carelessly onto cart floor. Nothing was damaged but was annoyed at lack of communication and overall disorganization."
Pros: "Seat extraordinarily comfortable"
Pros: "The crew was amazing, and the duration of flight time was reasonable"
Cons: "Comfort of the seat, space between seats"
Cons: "Food quality"
Pros: "No amazing crew, just average. The should airline should have follow through on a specific request, but the airline's computer wipes out such things."
Cons: "Airlines should listen to the requests of the passengers."
Pros: "All was ok accept they charge 32dollar for bag."
Cons: "Travel with free bag."
Pros: "On time,"
Cons: "WiFi didn't work."
Cons: "The booking process. Went through a third party (ka$@k) and at the last minute was transferred to a cheap aggregator I had never heard of. Needless to say customer service was a joke. Plain fraud."
Pros: "Fast boarding, flight relatively smooth, got to my destination pretty quickly as well."
Cons: "The wifi signup process not seemless with Android."
Pros: "The seat was comfortable and the flight attendant was very helpful with all the questions I had, thanks for the wonderful first time flying."
Cons: "Nothing give a 10/10"
Pros: "The crew was super nice and I saw them be super accommodating to other passengers which made me feel good about using their airline."
Cons: "They should offer headphones"
Cons: "Make seat available for two of us together not every one in a deferent row"
Pros: "Even thou flight was delayed we arrive at a decent time."
Pros: "No"
Cons: "No"
Cons: "4 delays.. weather suc’s when trying to fly"
Cons: "Flight delayed by 2 hours due mechanical issue Missed connecting flight Waited in line for 2 hours for a hotel comp. had to pay 20$ to get to hotel because there was no shuttle Still stuck in Dallas. Never made it to Sam fran. Extremely disappointed I expect compensation"
Cons: "The drink service came a little late in the flight... but that is a suggestion more than a complaint."
Pros: "Crew on and off plans were helpful and nice."
Cons: "Delayed for hours for a short one hour flight with multiple gate switches."
Cons: "Bathroom needs fixing as toilets were not working. Planes kept getting cancelled. I never have problems with southwest"
Cons: "Flight arrived over 40 min late and despite my connecting flight still being connected to the gate I was told I couldn’t board. There were 5 people trying to connect to the same flight so it’s pretty rediculous that we were told to rebook when the plane didn’t leave the gate for 15 more minutes. This was the call of the airline and it was handled poorly. The rebooking agent was also extremely rude and seemed totally self absorbed. This was my worst flying experience out of approximately 50 flights this year. Never again American."
Pros: "Flight crew was nice"
Cons: "the small jets are so uncomfortable."
Cons: "KTerrible coffee. Tasted stale"
Pros: "On time."
Cons: "They had to take my bag and because no one would volunteer... sigh."
Cons: "Un necessary delays from start to baggage pickup"
Pros: "The crew was great and made light of a relatively tense situation. This was a connecting flight for many passengers which was delayed so many of us were missing our connections. The crew still did a great job keeping everyone comfortable and boarding us quickly."
Cons: "Unfortunately our plane was grounded in Chicago before our leg of the trip even began. By the time it arrived in YYZ many of us would already be missing connections. Due to a smaller plane we have to stow most of our carry on below which caused a bit of chaos while disembarking trying to retrieve bags and hustle to the next flights. Since I knew before leaving YYZ we were quite delayed my husband drove to ORD to pick me up instead of waiting 24hr for the next flight to St. Louis. It added 8 hours of driving for him to an already long day but we made the best of it."
Cons: "Boarding at Terminal 3 gate A8 was slow and a single line makes for a lengthy process."
Cons: "Bag was delayed and damaged"
Pros: "Nice crew"
Cons: "Old equipment"
Pros: "Crew was great!"
Cons: "Was really poor choice of food."
Pros: "good price and a good route"
Cons: "This turned out to be a 'code share' flight operated by American Airlines. As such, neither Qantas nor American Airlines would allow me to buy premium seats so we could have extra leg room. They said the 'code share' blocks seat sales! Be ware Also found out that American Airlines does not serve meals on flights from Toronto to LAX. I was told they only serve meals on "international flights" but that I could buy a sandwich or snack. Unfortunately they only had 4 sandwiches on board , which sold within the first 2 rows of the plane!"
Pros: "Boarding was a breeze"
Cons: "N/A"
Cons: "There was a glitch in the system with our boarding passes. It got sorted out but was just kind of weird."
Pros: "Another typical domestic flight. Nothing special. Pretzels were the only snack."
Cons: "No entertainment and nowhere to charge electronics."
Pros: "Good assortment of entertainment"
Cons: "Delayed so long we missed our connecting fligh. Then we’re left with no hotel room as everything was booked in Miami for the holiday weekend. It was a mess"
Pros: "The seats were comfortable and the boarding process was very well organized."
Cons: "The plane had a very good entertainment system with a lot of good movies, but the flight had no earphones available, so only the passengers that had their own ear/headphones could use it. Other than that, the flight attendants were not kind in any way and items present in the onboard menu, were not available, as I asked for Pringles and there was none. I did not see anybody eating some food in this flight, other than the mini pretzels served. How a 3hour flight arriving at 09 PM, had no food onboard?"
Pros: "We missed this flight."
Cons: "Background info: we flew from Dublin to Toronto (Aer Lingus) and we were supposed to fly Toronto to Los Angeles on American Airlines; however, we had a British Airways flight number for both of these flights. We missed our connecting flight in Toronto with American Airlines (we had a 2 hour layover) despite landing on-time (de-boarded a few minutes late). I suggest avoiding the Toronto airport ALWAYS as every passenger must pick up his/her luggage even if you have a connecting flight, and then re-check the baggage with the next flight. Apparently the baggage handlers were on strike and some of the customs agents as well which added to the delays. Well, after going through Canadian customs and picking up our luggage (which took quite awhile) we arrived at the American Airlines ticketing kiosk about 45 minutes before our flight. The computer told us we were too late for this flight and to see a representative. We proceeded to wait in line for an American Airlines representative only to be told this was Aer Lingus' fault (we had just flown with them); even though we had a BA flight number.. After searching for an Aer Lingus representative we were finally told they were probably all on the Aer Lingus flight that was currently about to leave. An Aer Lingus representative was paged to the ticketing counter (took well over 30 minutes for anyone to show up) and what proceeded was an argument (for well over an hour) between British Airways and Aer Lingus representatives about whose responsibility it was to re-book us. After an hour at least of poor customer service, we were finally rebooked by British Airways on the last flight to LAX (on Air Canada). Moral of the story: avoid Toronto and fly direct."
Cons: "Staff seemed tired with some minor conflicts between them at Toronto gate"
Cons: "The seats are hard although spacious for a 3 set row."
Pros: "At least the gate agent was pleasant when she told us she couldn't help us and gave us information to get rebooked."
Cons: "That our bags were late coming off the plane and instead of being able to put them on the connection belt we had to take them up to recheck and rwtag them."
Cons: "I hated the waiting area at Pearson. I hated the temperature and how tiny the seats are. Was so hot and absolutely miserable."
Cons: "Connecting to LAX through Toronto was frustrating. We were told in Dublin that our bags were checked all the way through to LA and they weren't. (Been through Toronto before and thought maybe they had changed the procedure) Airport signage could be improved to accurately inform of baggage pickup and drop off with your connecting air carrier. (Our traveling companions ended up missing the flight home in the confusion.) The airport is going through renovations, maybe it will improve. The flight to LA wasn't stocked properly with food. They ran out of sandwiches/fruit and cheese plates by the first few rows in the main cabin. No earbuds available for those who needed them. Cramped seating. This flight was with BA partner American Airlines"
Pros: "Friendly crew"
Cons: "Zero Entertainment. Flight delayed around 30 minutes, which gave me a heartburn as we had to catch the next flight. No priority plus lounge near this gate in Toronto"
Pros: "I liked having a window seat."
Cons: "My screen was broken, so for 6 1/2 hours, I was unable to watch any movies and didn't see the safety video either."
Cons: "No luggage space"
Cons: "The flight was fine, but the aircraft arrived 3 hours late. That’s a long wait."
Cons: "Check in was just awful. Then a three hour delay and no one was forthcoming."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "I didn’t like anything about this flight, except that we arrived safely. I had the last seat, next to the toilet, and that container or whatever it is, was dirty. Every time someone flushed, I was bathed in the smell of urine. It was raining in Toronto; consequently, my checked bag was wet through. I’m glad I was coming home rather than arriving at a vacation destination, where all my stuff would’ve been wet. I’d like to see some effort put into keeping my bag dry. Also, the passengers had to slog through the rain to get on the plane!"
Pros: "The flight was uneventful, lucked out with exit aisle."
Cons: "Boarding took way too long. Typically an airline will ask people to voluntarily check their overhead luggage free of charge if they know it's a full flight, not on this flight. Instead, they tried to get everyone to board with luggage in hand, then once they realized there was not enough space they asked people to hold on to their luggage while they came through the plane to tag it and stow it below - very inefficient and made the boarding process crazy as people tried to make their way around luggage that was sitting in the aisles."
Pros: "Got an upgrade to premium economy"
Cons: "AC was late causing a missed connection to YXE. They were unable to rebook us to Saskatoon for two or three days! They offered standby or Edmonton as our only options. We flew to Edmontonand then drove 6 hours in order to get home for work with no sleep. Unimpressed."
Pros: "That we eventually got a flight home."
Cons: "Being stuck in Boston and Ottawa for 2 extra days and adding around $1200 on to our trip in hotels alone (I was travelling with 4 kids on a school trip and my wife). Additionally, we didn’t find out the flights were cancelled until we arrived at the airport. Apparently, they had been cancelled 2 hours before but there was no notification. Air Canada offered no help whatsoever and the guy at the “service” desk in Boston literally said there was nothing he could do to help. Not even find a new flight. Spent 90 minutes on the phone trying to re-book, plus re-booking hotel along the way."
Pros: "It really sad to know on a 5 and a half hour flight they only offer coffee tea or soda ☹☹ . Never knew about the changes in purchasing a meal or snack.."
Cons: "Should have been informed somewhere about the changes in purchasing a meal."
Cons: "Extremely delayed, and changed our seats to worse ones"
Cons: "Why no food or snacks?"
Pros: "Was on time both take off and reached"
Cons: "They served frozen food."
Cons: "Food not included with insane flight costs"
Cons: "The television screen with on-board entertainment options didn't work properly, so I was unable to watch movies/television or play games. This was disappointing as it was a fairly long flight."
Pros: "Plane was nice Crew was great"
Pros: "Friendly crew, good food and comfortable seats"
Pros: "The food and the crew"
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "Flight crew was vey nice and flight was on time."
Pros: "Direct flight saved time."
Cons: "Our connecting flight from Toronto to Thunder Bay was cancelled. AC put us in a hotel for the night. Thanks for the $15 dinner voucher. Almost paid for the salad. Then we had to get up at 530am to get the 6am hotel shuttle in order to get back to airport for our 8am flight. They seem to always cancel the 9pm flight from Thunder Bay to Toronto because not full enough. And the last flight is over sold so we have to stay the night in Toronto. Then don't offer the 9pm flight. Passengers have other commitments in their life's. We don't need AC to just hold us over for the night because one of their flights is have empty."
Cons: "There were too many things to mention, but I must say the customer service is not a strong point neither is a customer first mindset. The airlines apparent made several changes between my trip and I was threaten with additional bag fees when my ticket was very clear for two carry-ons and to checked bags, which also confirmed when I confirmed my seat request. After I was required to check my bags, I realized my earbuds were in the bag and the flight attendant did not give me a pair and actually told me I could purchase a pair...REALLY!I just did a 15 hour flight from Dubai, you were delayed by 2 hours on my last connecting flight and you can't comp a pair of .25 cent earbuds."
Cons: "Kiosk option wasn't supporting the baggage check policy, resulting in passenger were unable to print baggage tag and had to wait in long line over 1.5 hrs to check bag with staff. They also understated. It took me over 2 hrs to get throug check in process, not counting 45mins + through security check and custom. I had asked staff to expedite the process. C my flight was boarding. Staff could care or less and walked away. I had to run to my gate and almost miss my flight. Also, I was told that 1st checked bag was complimentary as this is a express aircraft. Staff wouldn't honor that. Come to find out as I entered the aircraft that they made many passengers do the complimentary gate check anyway. Rude and unaccompdating staff."
Pros: "the service was excellent"
Cons: "The flight attendant looked like she was drunk. The flight was overbooked and the boarding agent asked people to stay for a later flight. There was also a Air Canada crew member who looked like he was on standby for our flight, his last name was Campbell. Once we boarded the plane we noticed that the crew member had been given a seat on the plane, where a mother with three children that was also on standby had to stay for a later flight. Not sure how 1) you overbook a flight, and much less 2) give a seat to a crew member over a customer."
Cons: "I wish Air Canada sent check-in emails for flights in as well as out. I didn't get a reminder check-in email when I was flying out and that worried me a bit that there may be something wrong with my reservation. It also irritated me that because I had booked my flight through Kayak and not Air Canada directly I was not able to make any changes to the reservation online - I had to call their reservation phone number (from another country) and be put on hold for 20 minutes (so needless to say it was an expensive phone call)."
Pros: "The crew was very friendly and attentive."
Pros: "Super nice crew!"
Cons: "Inaudible boarding"
Pros: "The price :)"
Cons: "Wasn't able to play the videos on my iPhone."
Pros: "The Air Canada ground and flight crews did the best they could in a bad situation."
Cons: "Where do I start? Maybe by saying that I'm really not a complainer. I'm really not. I know there are understandable, although not always pleasant, occurences and situations that cause or contribute to things. But this shuttle flight was a disaster of poor airline planning. The 1.5 hour flight kept getting delayed again and again and again. The assigned gate got changed 4 times and we found ourselves having to walk with our bags from one to another. It finally took off at 12:30 at night with an ORIGINAL departure time of either 8:40 or thereabouts. You're talking about a 4 hour delay. Weather? Raining, but nothing that was serious. It was just, well, raining. No explanation was ever given for the delay although, uhh, complimentary bags of pretzels were handed out. I felt bad for the ground and flight crew. They had to deal with us less-than-pleased passengers and, really, the delay was beyond their control. Which leads me to believe poor scheduling by Air Canada of available planes was a reason. It was all very, very bad and, given a previous flight 10 days ago that took 5 hours instead of the scheduled 1.5, we'll never use Air Canada again."
Pros: "North American flights are definitely not as comfortable as in Asian flights"
Pros: "Everything went smoothly. The crew was fabulous and the flight smooth."
Cons: "Not a single complaint from me!"
Pros: "Crew was very friendly."
Cons: "Didn't realize AirCanada Rouge didn't have entertainment, which allowed me to get work done...but you know, movies are cool too. Also the seats are super close together and make it a bit clostrophobic."
Pros: "entertainment choices"
Cons: "boarding process crew not helpful in baggage storage"
Pros: "It was a short flight and I shared my seating with average weight people. The crew members and the pilots were very informative."
Cons: "During a short flight there is not much to experimented and less to comment."
Pros: "Boarding was relatively painless. Flight was on time. What i didnt like was the crew. The flight from Toronto to Los Angeles was five hours. They had the fasten seat belts light on the entire trip because they said the turbulence was bad. I have been on alot of flights and let me tell you that the turbulence was not bad at all. After three hours prople decided enough was enough and started going to the restroom. The crew would get all bent out of shape and get on the PA yo please stay in your seats and not use the restrooms at this time. Really!! Well that didnt happen. The only thing they give you is one free drink. No penuts, cookies or pretzels. If you want food you have to pay for it. I sat by the window and my window was all greasy. I couldent really see out of it. I did use the rest room and it was pretty clean."
Cons: "Flight was on time and the restroom was clean"
Pros: "At least it was fast.."
Cons: "No space, no tv, no food, no music, no blanket, no water, nothing. Pack everything you need or bring your credit card"
Cons: "As expected with Air Canada, the service is awful with bitchy stewardesses, the food is poor, the plane is falling apart. Midway through the flight, the plane looked like a pigsty with garbage everywhere. When serving the meals, the stewardess just said to everyone, "You want it or not" and moved quickly with many people wondering why she was behaving so rudely. In addition, we couldn't get clear information about the baggage allowance. This is partially due to booking through Kayak where they don't tell you the baggage limit and some of the flights were code share flights even though all were with Air Canada. Couldn't tell if we had 1 or 2 bags included. This didn't help with our packing. In the end we had 2 bags and wish we bought more stuff."
Pros: "The Air Canada agents and staff were very helpful and accommodating to the best of their ability. I hugged one female AC Agent in TO as she was so kind and helpful, and told her she was the highlight of my day."
Cons: "The processing of Air Canada passengers to the connecting Gates and through Customs for USA international flights was a nightmare. It was very disorganized, with hundreds of passengers herded like cattle, poor communication, customs slips not provided on the AC Flight before landing so as to be completed in advance. There was staff shortage, and not done in a timely manner so as to make your connecting Flight. It has truly been a most stressful experience for me this and each time I have to go through Toronto to make a connecting flight , and I will avoid this flight plan in the future at all cost."
Pros: "Na"
Cons: "Na"
Pros: "Crew attitude and faster flight than original plan"
Cons: "Movies and food"
Pros: "The 2-3-2 seat configuration is better for travelling as a duo. We were provided with blankets and pillows for the 9 HR flight. Food was quite tasty for airline meals."
Cons: "Host staff made very few trips up and down the aisles. Have not before been on an Air Canada flight where there are no seat back screens, so it was a surprise not to have any in flight entertainment."
Pros: "It was nice of airline to set up an extra flight in the afternoon so we didn't need to spend even more time in Toronto airport."
Cons: "My first flight had free snacks and movies to watch yet it was only an hour in the air. This flight was much longer with no movies and having to pay for snacks. Seems a tad backwards."
Cons: "Mine and my wife's legs did not fit. The seats were spaced much closer together than is standard, and this made the flight unbearable. I stood in the isle for most of the flight. To make things worse on this 5 hour flight, there was no video available to distract me."
Pros: "Crew very polite and professional."
Cons: "My luggage didn't arrive at destination, so this caused a bit of a problem for me as Philadelphia was not my final destination. I had to take a bus the next morning at 7AM to Pittsburgh. My luggage finally was delivered to me within 48 hours, so that was great."
Cons: "Rouge was the problem here. Unlike regular Air Canada flights, the seats are extra cramped and there are no seat-back TVs or power outlets. (Also, the crew didn't seem to include any French speakers - weird for Air Canada.) I preferenced AC for this flight. Next time I would avoid them if it's Rouge."
Pros: "friendly staff, not a full flight which was nice to stretch out"
Cons: "the food was not great, would have been nice for TV to have hockey championships game available to watch- another airline had this option on a flight during a Steeler game and it was nice."
Pros: "Food was great. Inflight entertainment needs work."
Cons: "The inflight entertainment needs more updated options ."
Pros: "There were some pretty recent movies and some older ones that I remember watching when I was younger. Both options were good."
Cons: "Despite there being both new and older movies, there seemed to be a limited number of movies and shows. I feel like there could have been more, but it might be just me."
Cons: "Flight was canceled and next day flight was delayed for 3 and half hours."
Cons: "Video entertainment did not work properly. Stewardess reset it but audio was totally garbled. I tried it with three different sets of earphones."
Cons: "A delay of 28hrs is never positive. I haven’t been able to get my United points either since I was rerouted to SFO. When claiming them the system says that I never boarded the flight to EWR and completely ignore the YYZ - SFO flight. Mediocre overall."
Cons: "Gate not ready on arrival."
Pros: "The reps at customer service were very nice and helpful. Kudos to them"
Cons: "I missed my flight to Grand Junction the night before because my plane from Dulles was delayed. So, consequently I had to spend the night in Denver. I was not pleased with that at all."
Pros: "Staff"
Cons: "Not enough leg room."
Pros: "The crew were so helpful and nice"
Cons: "Only if teleportation exists"
Pros: "Good crew"
Cons: "This flight had no snacks or drinks and was also delayed what else is there to say."
Cons: "At YYZ @ the wheel chair entrance, I visibly required wheel chair assistance. I approached the United INFO COUNTER and requested wheel chair assistance. She advised me to get into a long Q and after check in they will get me a wheel. chair. TSA is no greater help for your air line."
Cons: "4 different flight delays in chicago"
Pros: "Quick and easy flight, on and off the plane quickly."
Cons: "Small, cramped plane."
Pros: "Everything was great. On time, great room, pleasant staff!!!"
Cons: "LATE"
Pros: "On time. comfortable aircraft."
Cons: "Retrieving cabin luggage at other end: THey make you line-up in the jetway waiting for the handlers to bring it up the stairs. Took a while to get that sorted."
Pros: "Not much to like. The flight was okay."
Cons: "Not having free Wi-Fi and sound on the entertainment.I We could have been offered complimentary snacks as well with the beverage."
Pros: "It was on time and the staff were excellent"
Cons: "Like everything"
Pros: "Ok"
Cons: "Cannot gauge if carry-on would fit into overhead No entertainment"
Cons: "The plane was very small and crammed"
Pros: "comfortable and on time"
Pros: "The crew did the best they could with the situation"
Cons: "My flight was delayed for an hour so that the plane after having to change planes needed to be filled with gas. It was a long wait in a very small space. Never uncomfortable. We also waited on the plane with any notice of how long we would be sitting."
Pros: "Fantastic service. Much obliged for everything"
Cons: "Horribly rude. She even cursed at another passenger."
Pros: "Toronto is a good place to Fly out. Much cheaper rates than small USA city like Rochester. Booked 1st class Tickets for about the same price coach. They have Customs to USA very well thought out."
Cons: "Very minor delay boarding, made up time in the air. Gate crew reassured that all connecting flights will be fine."
Pros: "I didn't like nothing"
Cons: "United needs to training your employees"
Pros: "Flight was on time and short in duration"
Cons: "Seats rows were narrow with just enough leg room. Very confining and uncomfortable. Our row did not recline as we were in front of the exit row. Luckily, the person in front of me did not recline their seat back."
Pros: "Crew was curteous and capable"
Cons: "The screens on the back of seats that used to play movies now play advertisements and ask you to pay for in-flight entertainment. The off button did not turn the screen off, resulting in a constant eyesore for the entire trip"
Pros: "Good flight"
Cons: "2 Delays"
Pros: "The service staff was very friendly when they told me they were out of every food item I wanted."
Cons: "Lack of variety in snacks, foods and purchases on the plane."
Pros: "Flight was cold and they did not have blankets"
Cons: "I don't fully understand why, but I was unable to get my boarding pass for my flight to Chicago from Toronto until I arrived in the Toronto airport. Toronto airport sequesters off international arrivals, so in an ideal world, I would have been able to go through security directly to into the U.S. terminal, bypassing Canada customs. However, the United desk that I needed to get my boarding pass from located just before security was unmanned. The very kind Air Canada attendant called for a representative multiple times, but after 45 minutes of waiting no one ever arrived to print my boarding pass for me. The Air Canada employee then gave up on any United staff showing up and suggested I try going through Canadian customs and checking in at the same departure desk travelers first entering the airport would go through and make sure to let them know how long I was waiting. The United employee I spoke with told me that I was impatient and should have continued waiting because now she didn't know what would happen with my checked bag and that I may well need to wait 2 hours more for that to get sorted out. I was rather surprised by her overly negative response and apparent threat. If I was irate or yelling that might have been warranted, but frankly, I was so tired from the international travel I didn't have the energy to fight with her. Regardless, I wish I had been more impatient, it was far easier to go through customs twice than I expected. I would have preferred to spend more time in the lounge inside the terminal than to stand by the United desk waiting for someone to arrive to print my boarding pass. At any rate, Canadian+US customs have it together; when I went through U.S. customs to get into the terminal they had the photo of my checked bag right there."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Everything"
Pros: "My complaint with United is twofold: extremely poor customer service and airport experience. First, the plane was delayed Then cancelled took customer service 50 minuets to rebooked on a new flight to sfo instead Sjc which is far away from my house & I paid for CAB!!"
Pros: "This was an average flight on a small, cramped, RJ/CRJ. There was nothing special about this flight and this review is only to stop the over abundance of emails Kayak sends you begging for a review...."
Cons: "Please read what I wrote above."
Pros: "The crew on this flight were really nice and helpful."
Pros: "Crew was friendly, boarding was easy."
Cons: "I wasn't informed when I booked that the flight was operated by Air Canda's budget variant, rouge, and not Air Canda as was listed on Kayak. I had no option to select seats, and when we boarded I was seated on the last row by the galley with no reclining seats and the florescent lights were on nearly the whole time on a 10 hour overnight flight. There are no seat back TVs and the free streaming service went down repeatedly just like the AC outlet at our seats (there are only two of these for three people). I booked this trip nearly a year in advance, and I am extremely disappointed that I wasn't informed that I was flying a budget airline on a 10 hour flight."
Pros: "united over book. i got boarding pass but no seat number. United charge me $400. I want me money back."
Cons: "Plane from Toronto to Denver could have been a bit bigger / nicer for that long a trip."
Pros: "Boarding was quick and efficient."
Cons: "It seemed that there was a lack of preparedness before taking off from each stop."
Pros: "Crew did the best they could"
Cons: "4 hour weather delay; missed all connecting flights; spent night in O'Hare; no food at night; no vegan food; got home 12 hours later than planned with little no sleep."
Cons: "Delayed departure"
Cons: "Seats are so narrow and uncomfortable. And we never pushed pack on time for all my flights"
Cons: "Incredible long walk passengers should be told when you have such a distance to walk. Passport sign in is not very user friendly should be a better scanner and easier questions they are confusing"
Pros: "Plane was on time"
Cons: "No food"
Pros: "Staff were helpful, the flight took off on time and the trip was smooth."
Cons: "No complaints on any front."
Pros: "I was pleasantly surprised when they announced those with large carry ons could get tagged and pick up at final destination."
Cons: "The distance between arriving gates and departure."
Pros: "The flight crew was friendly and professional."
Cons: "We had to go to the special help counter to get our seat assignments changed so my wife and I could fly together. Then they attempted to charge us baggage fees because you didn't notify them that we used our United Explorer card. This also required me working with the gate agent to get priority boarding"
Pros: "Brand new plane!"
Pros: "The"
Cons: "The flight is delayed four hours. When I booked the ticket, I booked with air canada, and I was assigned to a UA flight. And They didn't allow me to change to a ealier one coz my flight is with UA."
Pros: "A very typical flight."
Cons: "No complaints."
Pros: "The flight was short"
Cons: "We had to walk almost halfway to Newark just to get to the flight. It was outside on the Tarmac at the very very very end of the terminal, I've never seen anything like it before. We also left a travel folder in the seat back pocket containing important documents and a sealed envelope of 1000$ USD. We immediately called to retrieve it and at first were told to file a complaint online, no matter how many times we tried to tell them that time was of the essence in this situation. We also begged the united airlines personnel to speak with a manager and he wouldn't put one on the phone. In the end all they could tell us is that the folder "wasn't there""
Pros: "excellent aircraft, roomy, comfortable and clean. the flight attendants were very attentive but not pushy"
Cons: "very full flight ... tourist season?"
