On top of that when I originally booked my flights, I had made sure to have 1.5 hr for a layover between my connecting flights. Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

Cons: "The pilot held the Geneva flight for 35 minutes for late arriving inbound passengers. This helped them but hurt far more passengers connecting in Washington DC. We missed our flight and waited in standby mode all evening for a Denver flight."

I was not comfortable at all in my seat because the passenger beside me had his knee and elbow all in my personal space. I asked an attendant if it was okay for me to move and she stated that it was okay, but United switched a lot of passengers flights around so there wouldn't be any empty seats. I was stuck beside the man, all hanging out of my seat, because there wasn't an open seat available. Thank goodness the flight was only 2 hours long. Overall my experience with United was terrible and I will not be flying with them anymore."

Every time I take United I say it’s it’s the last time so it’s my fault for choosing United again. But they are happy to take my money and nickel and dime customers for every last thing."

When it was getting close to the time for our flight and they were still boarding an earlier flight, I checked with them to see if ours would be delayed. They had changed the gate without making an announcement. We had to get ourselves to the new gate with barely time to spare. They never turned the seatbelt light off for the trip so we could not use the restroom"

We sat on the tarmac at ohare for 20 minutes because they did not plan the gates well then there was a plane blocking our gate customer service lines were absurd. We were not even able to turn off screen so had to see commercials for service entire 4 1/2 hour trip. Horrible!!"

The plane also heading to Newark ahead of us was overbooked and some people were pushed onto our plane, not a big deal if all can fit on the plane...but we wouldn't have if it wasn't for the delay causing those flying to Boston to miss their flights. Frustrating and adds an element of concern when faced with delays when the weather is fine. The internet on the plane is also confusing to use...should be clearer. Mistakenly booked my flight before realizing the new carry on policy, so trying to pack everything into a tiny bag to meet requirements was frustrating... definitely don't think I will be booking United again."

The agent had us standing in line for 1 1/2 hours while she tried to figure out what was going on. So instead of taking off at 5:40 pm, we took off at 9 pm and still had to catch a bus from Boston to Providence...HORRIBLE Flight = Long Day/Night"
