Pros: "Very kind associate working at the gate. She helped me obtain my seat assignment and was a pleasure to speak with. Her happiness was contagious (even at 6am!). She put me at ease."
Cons: "The last travelers in boarding line (including myself) had to check their carry on luggage because “there was no more room in the overhead compartments”. However, while I was walking to my seat, I saw ample storage space as well as suitcases that were laying horizontally or flat and could easily have been adjusted to create even more space. Given that most people pack their most valuable items in their carry on bags (as well as anything fragile), I was a bit uneasy checking mine. The associate who helped check my bag on the tarmac was kind. I was grateful that my luggage had a hard shell case."

Cons: "I didn’t have a window at all. The staff didn’t offer any snacks to us. My bag was the only one that didn’t make it while I had a plenty long layover."

I didn’t know that you got a receipt with your seat number on it because it wasn’t explained and that was my first time flying Delta in years. Overall one of the worst flights but thankfully it was fast!"

We asked if we or even one of us could move into the …at least three empty rows…and they would not let us as they were they comfort plus section and it cost more…NO ONE WAS USING THESE SEATS!! So they let the passengers be crammed together in the rest of the plane and left numerous empty seats that could have been used! It’s was just rude. They also served drinks and never checked back to pick up the garbage. Didn’t tell us to raise our seats or put up our table trays before landing. So, as I exited the plane I handed them my garbage! I wasn’t going to be rude and leave it in the seat pocket or my seat …where I found crumbs of food on when I boarded the plane. Was just very dissatisfied with this crew!! I have been flying a lot lately using delta. I’ve had some delays but they’ve always been accommodating, this crew was not! What a shame!"

As an example, if you have a "Zone 2" boarding pass, you think you will be second to board when in reality that means you are second to last to board. After those who need extra time, those with small children, active military, premier, whatever.... all that covers about 2/3 of the passengers. Then of course there's all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with."

From the quick boarding, super friendly gate agents, and flight crew, to the free on board entertainment, Delta has won me over once again. Oh and did I mention how great it is to board a flight, relax and watch a good movie, take a small nap, and deplane at your destination! Awesome!!"

My later/original flight ended up being delayed multiple times (not due to weather) and given no explanation for why."

It has the largest coach seats so no matter where you sit, you aren’t a sardine in a tin can (like those awful 737s). Cabin crew was quiet and seemingly tired, but that’s fine for an evening flight. Peaceful flight."

This was the call of the airline and it was handled poorly. The rebooking agent was also extremely rude and seemed totally self absorbed. This was my worst flying experience out of approximately 50 flights this year. Never again American."
Cons: "AA flight into Miami delayed due to late arrival of aircraft, followed by significant delay on the tarmac waiting for another plane to leave. This then delayed getting bags that required rechecking. At the AA booth, even though I was 42 minutes before the flight, they would not let me check my bags (not 45 minutes before) requiring me to stay in Miami overnight before booking me on a standby flight the next day. Customer service representatives were unhelpful and supervisor was rude. As someone who travels a lot, this was the worst service I have ever received from an airline (which says quite a bit). Will rethink ever booking a trip on American again."

Cons: "My flight was delayed by two hours leaving Fort Lauderdale. As a result of that delay I miss my connecting flight to Palm Springs. I was rebooked for a flight to smile Palm Springs the next day which I did not except. Then I was booked to leave Dallas to Los Angeles that flight was delayed also. To make matters worse my bags ended up in LA when they were supposed to be route it all the way to Palm Springs. I still don’t have my bags yet. Called three times and the representatives cannot reassure me of my bags on the way."

Cons: "The airline is so outdated and behind the times of their competitors, their in that they don't have in flight entertainment unless you download their app and give them your email address. On top of that when I originally booked my flights, I had made sure to have 1.5 hr for a layover between my connecting flights. Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

I recommend that this airline do a SERIOUS audit of their Preventative Maintenance/Service division across their hubs. If I fly American, I would bet my entire checking account that the plane will be delayed well over 2 hours."

Someone should have planned gates and deplaning schedules better, it's an awful experience sitting and doing nothing when you're so close to being home. The other thing that was bothersome was on this 6 hour flight, my entertainment screen didn't work. Which not only meant I would need to entertain myself for the next 6 hours, but also there wasn't a way to get the flight attendants attention. When they came around with drinks, I asked two of them how to fix the screen and they gave me two different answers which neither worked. Then when I needed anything I would have to make my neighbors move and go walk to find someone. Overall not my favorite flying experience and didn't feel taken care of by the crew or AA. And to think I spent extra money to fly with AA..."

So after a one-hour delay for a new aircraft, we boarded, then sat at the gate for another hour and a half waiting for an additional flight officer. Missed my connecting flight from Chicago to Dayton and had to be put up in a hotel 30 minutes away from the airport."

Heck drive the plane around to test everything. Also what's up with 1 small cookie when people pay hundred of dollars for a delayed flight. Treat everyone like first class. Better seats. Seats are way to small. And maybe lunch should come with the flight or a bottle of water and a full bag of chips. We pay a lot for those flights. After all it's so expensive to by food in the airport then you wait and find out the flight is delayed."

You go through customs, get dumped outside, have to recheck your luggage whenever the counter decides its going to open. 11 hour layover on the way down, 6 hour layover on the way up. Food options were fried chicken (KFC), fried chicken (Churches), fried chicken (the local franchise), and Subway. Since the layover was late at night and I was a woman traveling alone, I did not want to leave the airport (and still drag my luggage because the airline counter was not open yet to check in to my connecting flight)."
Cons: "The flight staff was rude, the wrong gas was put in the plane causing a delay, I missed my connection because of this where they wrote it was delayed because "it was snowing in Savannah" which was a blatant lie, but made it so they did not have to help me in any way since their delay was "weather" related. They could not get my to my destination until noon the next day which forced me to buy a new flight on Alaska air. My flight on Alaska was absolutely fantastic and I regret ever buying any United flight and will not in the future."

Frustrating and adds an element of concern when faced with delays when the weather is fine. The internet on the plane is also confusing to use...should be clearer. Mistakenly booked my flight before realizing the new carry on policy, so trying to pack everything into a tiny bag to meet requirements was frustrating... definitely don't think I will be booking United again."

Cons: "It appeared that flight was not ever scheduled to go to Providence, The plane was too large to land in Providence. United probably sold too many tickets. Arrived at 130 a.m. next day -- not 9 p.m. lie I was supposed to arrive. United offered a $100 e-ticket gift. I do not fly very often. Could use $100 cash or free flight to Providence -- not Boston"
Pros: "Staff was uniformly helpful and polite. I travel w a scooter and they were helpful coordinating its transport."
Cons: "This flight was 2+ hours delayed. We were repeatedly told that it was due to weather in Chicago. I don't understand that. The weather was fine in Chicago and flights from BWI to Chicago Midway on other airlines were on time. I felt that this was a fabricated eccude."
Pros: "We received a free video service for the flight"
Cons: "First of all the flight was booked for a plane which was too large to land in Providence. So either way we were going to have a longer day and extra leg.....which I only paid for ONE plane change. After running to the gate because my first flight was late taking off, this flight was delayed due to engine issues. The agent had us standing in line for 1 1/2 hours while she tried to figure out what was going on. So instead of taking off at 5:40 pm, we took off at 9 pm and still had to catch a bus from Boston to Providence...HORRIBLE Flight = Long Day/Night"

Cons: "The United flight so far was a terrible experience for me. the food is so salty and so little!! I am a person who love to eat so much, but the food (noodle) was very bad, I didn't finish it. The ice-cream at first I'm so excited and the taste very good! However, it been already melted so... I'm so disappointing. There is no entertainment on plane... I'm so boring"

Pros: "United doesn't care about customers, It was nothing to like about this flight over four hours late, the flight went to it's destination and came back, seems like every other United flight was canceled, Dora huge line about 2 to 3 hours long to get you an agent, there were no hotels available, slept in the airport"
Cons: "Flight over four hours late, had to sleep in the airport on the chairs, because there was no hotels left, United didn't offer anything, I'm really displeased with them"
Cons: "The gate changed twice. We were directed to a bus to take us to our flight to only be made to get back off the bus because we didn't have a crew. No one would tell us anything. Got back into the airport and then 30 minutes later got put back on the bus. The plane was disgusting, smelled like urine. The air conditioning didn't work. Terrible."

Cons: "Computer problem delay. Then someone closed the door improperly, so back to the gate. Then we needed more fuel. Then we had to wait for "paperwork". Took off 2 hours late all of which was spent sitting on the plane."
Cons: "Tiny seats. No WiFi and no alternative without charge, excepr for direcrvtv previews, which played the same two stupid shows 2x. Couldn't even see the flight map for free."
Cons: "They boarded the plane when they knew they had mechanical issues. Passengers then sat on a hot plane at the terminal for almost 2 hours before departing."
