First class was terrible! It began with the customer service agent at the boarding gate taking being completely rude to the first class customers waiting to board. She/he (it was difficult to tell if it was a man or woman) yelled at everyone and said “it doesn’t take a genius to understand that only military or people with special needs may board, my god!!!” I’ve never seen such unprofessionalism from Delta. Then my husband and I went to our seats in first class and the flight attendant had left their paperwork and folders on our seats. I waited for a while to see if he would pick it up. He did not, so I picked it up and handed it to him. He then replied “oh we’re going to put you to work and pass out the agriculture forms”. When it came time for the meal he stated “we only have kale salad so do you want it or not?” My husband replied,” no I don’t like kale”. The flight attendant then replies “okay you don’t want it because that’s all we have”. My husband was seated in 1A, how do they have only one choice remaining out of the 3 when he’s in the first seat?? The flight attendant was very rude! As a loyal Delta customer, I was absolutely appalled at the unprofessional behavior from both customer service agents and first class flight attendant! I have to say that I will think twice before booking my next flight (next month) on Delta due to this experience.

Passengers continue to bring luggage which takes up too much space in the overhead bins and have more items than permitted. I do not bring luggage on board because it is too hard to find space and it holds up the boarding process."

I informed them that the website indicated it would waive baggage fees to certain destinations if checked in at the airport before a certain date. Another Delta agent nearby had to show them a copy of the policy before I could get my baggage fees waived."

The female crew members, a dark haired woman and a short blond haired woman both would have ignored me if the other two people seated by me did not also try to get their attention. The dark haired woman gave the guy next to me headphones and when I held out my hand she just looked at me and walked away as if she'd been called away. Which she hadn't she came back and started with the row immediately behind us and the guy next to me was nice enough to give me his. Also after nearly waiting 4 hours, 9 minutes before boarding we were given food vouchers and told to "run and hurry" and get food "to go" so most people didn't even bother using the vouchers because of that. I've had better flights with American Airlines, I just didn't know this one would be so poor. Definitely way below average expectations."

It was delayed for a long time!

Seats for international travel QUITE uncomfortable. Headrest not removable or adjustable for short folks. The seats, even for slim or small folks, quite tight & legroom is a joke. Food is yuck. Free drink a plus! Crew very nice . Pillow & blanket provided. Lots of good in flight entertainment.

Check in baggage lady had a horrible attitude. Was not helpful at all.

After more than 24 hours stranded in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport due to power outage on Dec 17th, 2017, I was so relieved as I sat on my seat, when an air hostess asked if I would like a seat in business class. She said they randomly upgrade passengers to business class when seats are available. So it all ended well, I got home to Toronto safely in (business) class. Thank you Air Canada !"

I missed half the weekend home in over a month. AC doesn't value my time and I don't value their service. Every time I go back to this airline I realized why I left. Going to Asia; don't get suckered into using this route. BTW a friend on PVG-YUL-BOS never made it as well. AC still using a CRJ200 that can't land in weather. NOT A BUSINESS CLASS EXPERIENCE."

Cons: "My daughter's first trip to Canada, with a brand new suitcase. By the time she arrived in Canada her suitcase was lost. Then ended up in the London Airport even though she flew into Ontario. When she picked up the suitcase it was wet and missing one wheel. On the return flight to Tampa when the suitcase arrived it was missing two of the four wheels in the corner was completely ripped off which was exposing what was inside. The handling of the suitcases is awful and she should receive a replacement suitcase"

There were no screens for entertainment. The food was horrible, and there was no option to buy anything better. The flight attendants were slow with service and even slower to pick up trash. The 2 bathrooms in the back of the plane were dirty and old."
Cons: "I didn't like the fact that because the flight from Bradley to Toronto was late I almost missed my Tokyo flight.. It would not have been such a big deal if I wasn't going all the way to-Tokyo. And had to go through customs. The commuter plane was delayed getting to Bradley. I got to Toronto, and again we had to wait on the tarmac. They knew we were coming and were late as it was. Canadian air also knew I had to catch a flight to Tokyo. I thought my connection times were to close and I was right. No one told me that I had to go through international customs. So, I was in the wrong place.When I made that discovery I literally ran to customs and asked to cut in line. Again I ran to get to the gate. They were boarding when I arrived. Why I say did you put me through all that when it was avoidable? Then on the way back after a 14 hour flight I had a 6 hour delay to get back to Hartford. Why was that I ask? The same thing happened last year. And you didn t fix it yet? Nightmare. And lets not even talk about the food on the plane. I make sure I eat before the flight if I have time.In this case there was no time. I also had to change flight dates. I was on the phone for 1.5 hours on hold. Only to be told that I was calling the wrong place. So, that's my Air Canada experience. Some sort of cash or check rebate should be in order. Not a voucher to fly with them again."

If we know we’re going to have to wait at least an hour and a half before we can take off, we should be able to get off the plane. Or at minimum run the AC if we’re going to be stuck there.

Tonight though our attendant made us all feel like we were in 1st class. She called everyone by their names when serving (Mr. O'Connor could I get you a beverage?), checked on us multiple times and was so friendly that she stood way out!"

Cons: "Flight ETD was 8:25 but plane developed a mechanical problem. After about 20 minutes waiting for maintenance the Captain decided to go back to the gate for fuel and repairs. After maintenance came on board the decision was made to deplane. Finally, a plane from Chicago was scheduled to take us to San Diego. After boarding at about 12:30, it was discovered that catering never loaded food. We waited for over an hour for food to be delivered. At close to 2pm the Captain, who kept us aware of what was going on, asked us if we would agree to leave without a full delivery of food, and all agreed. So by 2pm we were finally enroute to San Diego but having a seat in the back meant we only got to eat what was left, which for me, was a small cheese pack."

I had insurance on 1 flight so i hope i can get 1/2 of my ticket price back. Yup, I messed up the insurance on the 2nd flight. My bad. So I'm out for 1 ticket, and a broken leg and torn ACL and I didn't see my folks. Can you do anything to help me, United? Please? Thanks. Pretty tough week."

Food service however is too long as they split the food first then drinks then desserts which really makes the whole service in three steps much longer and that's not counting the fourth time they come to pick up thrash. Cons: "The seats are lay flat beds. However they are very narrow especially where the feet are resting. If you are over 5ft10 it's too short a bed. You feel that your feet are pressed together when you sleep. Also no seat level storage space. Seats are narrow and are almost impossible to sleep in resting on your side. Would suggest united try out the Emirates airline business class seats on the A380. The British Airways business class seats and New Zealand business class lay flat seats are also much nicer."
