Cons: "Information on when we can check in on upcoming flights. Other airlines we have booked for flights will email us 24 hours prior to departure. Virgin Atlantic did not. I had to call and I was directed to their web site and was able to check in on line. Thanks"

Cons: "I found the seats on this Virgin Atlantic A340 flight from LHR (London Heathrow) to LAX (Los Angeles), an eleven hour flight, to be unacceptable. The seats were very crowded. I am six feet tall, and was very uncomfortable all during the flight. I could not sit with my knees together. I had to spread my knees to sit comfortably. Holding that position for eleven hours was very uncomfortable. Anyone taller than me would have even more trouble. Also, every seat has a very large box underneath, I presume for the audio/video system. This is a terrible location. There is very little room to stow anything. But much worse, I couldn't straighten my right leg. All-in-all, I found the seat situation totally unacceptable. I will likely never fly Virgin Atlantic again because of this."

The final person, a gate agent for my departing gate, Peggy Hunter, told me that she has 35 years experience and she knows everything about United Airlines’ processes. Told me the only way I might get a refund is to submit online but that paying extra for a seat upgrade doesn’t mean I will actually get one and that I should read the fine print on the ticket. Had previously spoken to another gate agent who had told me that I could ask for a refund at the departing gate. Wifi didn’t work. On one of three delayed flights had to beg for water to take my medicine. I will make extra efforts to avoid using this mediocre airline."

I get why that is super important, but that doesn't mean you can be a jerk about it to *customers* who haven't experienced the pleasure of flying in a pinewood derby car in the sky before."

Cons: "After you get used to Jet Blue, it's tough to fly with United where there is no inflight entertainment unless you bring your own gadget. There are no in-flight snacks other than a tiny bag of mini pretzels or over-priced "snack boxes" for purchase. For short flights this is fine, but for 5 hour flights, it's a bit stingy. The biggest frustration with United is the small space. If you are a small child, great, but for adults, it's just terribly uncomfortable. Truly a "herded animal" experience."

Cons: "Delayed, missed connector flight to billings had to spend night in airport. Flight delayed 2hours to billings the next day. Worst flying experience ever will never fly United again!"

Pros: "I liked that going from Puerto Vallarta to LAX was non stop; free chex style mix and drinks"
Cons: "The boarding was so disorganized; boarding another plane within 15 minutes at gate next to ours; had to sit on floor to rest; going on bus out to plane would have been better if there was a way to make it single file, and not close to another boarding plane. Boarding groups make it disorganized--perhaps it would make more sense to board from back, but I am guessing it is done by boarding group for those who insist on taking large bags onboard to avoid the fee. By the way, tax on the $25.00 per bag charge????"

Pros: "The plane was late and when it came to boarding it seemed to take much longer than normal, they never announced boarding sections, so everyone was confused"

Pros: "Flight wasn't that long. Experience was okay. Flight was full. Attendants did their job. Some were more polite and helpful than others."
Cons: "No request was made for the outbound flight which I want to comment about. At Dulles Airport, I checked in at the Brussels Airline counter, only to be told that since I was on a flight operated by United, then I had to go to the United Airlines counter to check in. At UA, I was handed a boarding pass which advised that my seat will be assigned at the gate. I saw on the monitor where the available seats were-1 window, the remainder middle row. I got the feeling that since I bought a ticket which cost less than what the other United Airlines customers paid for, then I was being relegated to seats that the other travelers didn't desire."

Pros: "I guess that the only thing I liked is that there was no problem during the flight."
Cons: "I did not like that the check in in Mexico started late. They took a while to start boarding the plane. I do not like that United now charges for luggage. Mine was small. I did not like that the seats were uconfortable. I am short and there is not much leg room. There was no entertainment. When we landed un Houston it took forever to get off the plane. It was unclear where to get my luggage. I had to leave it to pass through TSA to run and try to catch my flight from Houston to Chicago. When I arrived at my gate I got there just in time because they were starting to board the plane. I was uconfortable sitting between two men. I traveled alone. When we landed in Chicago, took forever to get to the gate so we can get off the plane. There was no entertainment, at least for me. My phone was way low in battery and ai couldn't watch anything."
