We were making a move to Mexico from the U.S., and we were amazed at how pleasant the trip was. We had quite a few pieces of luggage, and everyone was extremely helpful. The crew and staff from both Delta and AeroMexico were great, and made our trip as easy as possible. Thanks to all!

Once I was on the plane, I started kicking myself in the you know what because I knew immediately I was scammed. I had purchased a 1st Class ticket for $400+, only to find that my comfort would be the equivalent of that if I purchased a ticket in economy. My long legs would still be cramped. For the past few years, I have been purchasing 1st class for it's spaciousness. On this flight, on the RCJ700, I did not fly comfortably. The space was very tight, and I was able to stretch my legs as if I sat in economy. This was by far, my most uncomfortable flight ever. SMH; A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!"

Cons: "I purchased a first class ticket in hopes that I would have a lot more comfort during the flight. It took me quite some time to get comfortable. The seat was ok, but I found the pillows to be very small and flat. I needed multiple pillows. The head rest was not adjustable, so I also found this to be uncomfortable. Usually when I fly AA, the headrest is adjustable. My final dislike was that the beverage selection was limited. I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

I didn't like the fact that they couldn't manage to scramble another plane and crew, but instead forced us to wait over four hours for one that was stuck somewhere else in the country."

Made me lug bagged to oversized drop off only to be told that my gear wasn’t actually oversized and I had to lug it all back and stand in line for bag drop off again. This was a bad time."

You get your choice of water, juice, coffee, soda, or tea for free. Nothing like my last trip with a DIFFERENT airline which I enjoyed."

Cons: ""Lowest fairs!!" and then on check in they nickel and dime you with extra costs for even a carry on AND to choose a seat that you already bought!! I mean, you don't have to. You could always just wait until check in at the airport and get thrown into a middle seat. Saving extra money was what pushed me over the edge here, but after all the fees after booking was paid for and experience, I would have gladly paid the extra money to fly Alaska Airlines."

The plane was still there however they would not let me board. I had to go and purchase another ticket on another flight due to this, costing me over $200.00. They said they were paging me, I never heard it, and then they admitted they were saying my name wrong. Not helpful at all. I need to know if I can get credit for that portion of the ticket that wasn't used, and I will be writing to them next. On my return flight, there was no big deal about waiting for people and I took pictures (with the time, well into 10 minutes before they were letting people board). I also video taped the area showing how loud it was...so impossible to hear, let alone they weren't pronouncing my name correctly. Any advise I would appreciate it. Another problem was I called to check on my reservations and they said it was a third party booking, and couldn't help me. I said, "you already charged my credit card, I have to be in the system". Finally after going back and forth I asked her to look up my credit card. Horrible Airline."

Customers waited over 30 minutes for bags to arrive, which arrived at a different belt than what had been originally scheduled. There were no AA staff in sight when we arrived in NY either. I will do my best not to fly AA again."

Cons: "Everything! Crew were terse, rude and inattentive. Due to an issue with a bag on board without the associated passenger we had to taxi back to the stand for it to be removed before we could take off. This cost us an hours delay. There was limited apologies for this, no refreshments provided during the wait and poor communication of this. During the flight the staff were inattentive and sparing with refreshments. Service generally did not live up to expected level associated with an inter-continents flight. The flight was turbulent but crew and captain seemed over cautious with it and crew had to remain seated unnecessarily at times and at the detriment of passenger service. One stewardess wouldn’t even let me finish a drink before removing it from my hand claiming we were about to land and she had to sit down because of turbulence. We were still 40 mins from landing at this point! All in all a pretty bad flight, and it’s safe to say I won’t be flying American Airlines again."

This was after the announcement came that all electronic devices where to go into airplane mode. The flight attendant did not do anything and seemed to ignore the phone that kept ringing. The gentleman was even talking on the phone while the flight attendant was going through the safety procedures. Later while landing an announcement came over that we were to return to our seats, close all tray tables, and seats ts in the upright position. At this point the gentleman sitting next to me leaned his seat backwards. The flight attendant passed by the gentleman at least three times and never said anything about his seat back. Evidently this flight attendant did not care to do his job properly."

FIRST CLASS: food service: could there be a rating less than POOR? we were given 10,000 miles (yes that bad) but just like Whose line - the points don't matter when the airlines is that bad! Crew response: We're not any worse than the other airlines - my response: WRONG! NO WIFI NO entertainment NO CHARGING AREA magazines were missing pages in both seats- requested new one never received"

I had a large wallet in my hand and was told I had to step out of line to put it in my backpack. They only allow you one bag to carry on without paying extra. At the time of boarding they announced that the overhead storage was full so even those that paid extra were still forced to check their bags. The plane was dirty, the service was slow, overall just gross. They don’t have WiFi or in flight entertainment so I paid the $20 to purchase the WiFi. It was worthless. I couldn’t stream anything, even music kept stopping to buffer. I understand it will be slower then on ground WiFi, but it was impossible to watch anything and a complete waste of money."

He was consistent in asking patrons whether they’d like to purchase a travel kit for the troops. A few patrons were abrupt and responded rudely but he maintained a level head and pressed on. Great attitude and professionalism. Thank you very much for your support! Also, I was able to get my Military discount applied towards my purchase which enabled me to purchase 1 travel kits for my fellow service members. A little goes a long way and when returning from deployments or coming home for R&R, it tends to be hectic and I, myself have often forgotten toiletries which I was able to get from the USO. The USO staff were also friendly and did an amazing job handling all of the personnel that funneled in, exhausted. Great attitudes and clean facilities. Cons: "The internet wasn't working, and the flight attendant told me there was nothing she could do about it. The touch screens on the back of the seat had difficulty responding to touch. The headphone jacks and headphones they gave us on the plane were not compatible. If it twisted even a bit, it would lose the connection. I understand these may seem petty, but they are things we've come to expect on airline travel. If they aren't going to be there, please let us know when we book our tickets so we can plan accordingly. The flight attendant for my section of the plane was cold and a bit rude. I didn't want to ask her for anything."
Cons: "Got a notification of a TWO HOUR DELAY departing SFO. Rebooked into Charlotte instead of Dallas to connect to Fort Myers. THAT flight got delayed AFTER the doors were closed by another 45 minutes which caused me to miss my connection to Fort Myers AND have American Airlines leave my bag in Charlotte. I rebooked into West Palm Beach to drive to Fort Myers and my bag stayed in Charlotte even though there was ANOTHER 45 minute delay to change a tire on the plane. If I practiced medicine the way the airline handled customers, I'd kill every third patient!"
Cons: "I found out at the airport the day we were leaving for Spain that my daughter's passport had to be valid for 3 Months after we returned home from our trip. When booking a flight out of the country it would be nice if Air .com could of mention that to me. We were trying to get to a cruise we had already paid for that was going out of Spain. They would not work with me at all and cx my whole booking. When I tried to talk to them on the phone the man could not speak very good English and was not making any since at all. I let him talk to the British Airlines counter manager and the manager tried to explain that he would have to rebook us that he could not. Air.com was horrible and never helped us out at all. They should not be in business . I paid them of course months ago and I was just out the 1400.00 dollars. British Airlines was amazed that they did nothing to help us out."
Pros: "The trip from st martin was fine in terms of check in. AA opened their windows early so we beat the crowd."
Cons: "The plane left 20 minutes late, and then we hit turbulence and a bit of rain close to our arrival in Charlotte. I had originally booked a flight through Miami with plenty of layover time to get a connecting flight to Dallas, but AA canceled that one and put me on a connection the following day! When I called customer service, they were helpful in regards booking and assured me there would be plenty of time to connect through Charlotte. When our plane landed 35 minutes late, there was only 15 minutes to connect, and we waited for baggage that whole time. No idea what took baggage so long, but the result is that we missed our flight. AA did put us on standby for the next one, but that meant our relative had to pick us up at midnight."

Cons: "It cost me $86 dollars to supposedly upgrade my seat to an exit row with tons of leg room. Granted there was plenty of leg room but the seat was extra narrow to give room for an emergency exit if necessary. I'm not huge but I barely fit in the seat. It was an uncomfortable squeeze which of course got worse as the flight continued. I complained to an attendant that the seat was too small and he had no remedy. If I was a few pounds heavier it would have been impossible. You'd think they would warn a customer of the narrower seat. It's so obvious that it's all about profit for the airlines which sickens me."
Pros: "As usual the plane was clean and everybody involved with American was very friendly."
Cons: "There wasn't anything that I did not like I wish they gave you peanuts instead of pretzels or chips"
Cons: "Apparently my seat change did not go through because I was still stuck in the last row near the bathrooms. I must say, the fecal aroma really complemented the on set nausea that was triggered by the turbulence. Every time I thought I was gona drift off to sleep I was rudely awakened by the constant "thwacking" of the bathroom doors. The family next to me was nice enough but they did have a toddler who was very loud and unhappy and the tantrums followed. I have been a server for 14 years and generally can brush annoyances off like this but this was by far the worst flight I have been on."

Cons: "The crew was overall terrible. For someone who also works in customer service, I was actually appalled at the behavior of the AA crew/staff. The flight attendants were ok, but the boarding crew was terrible and unbelievably unhelpful. I asked a staff member at check in if i needed to check my bag and he seemed really annoyed by my question, and refused to be of any help. Wow! He was so unbelievably rude. I ended up paying $25 to check a bag I didn't need to check. I was so disappointed. In the future, I think I will try to avoid flying AA."
Pros: "The Good: The seat configuration available for an upcharge of $38 gave just enough additional room to make getting my frail elderly mother in and out of her seat and accessing items she needed from a bag stored under the seat ahead of me much easier and safer than it would have been in, say, the sardine can-like conditions of the coach section on United flights."
Cons: "The Bad: At boarding, American does not provide pre-boarding for those who need extra time. I was traveling with my elderly mother, who can walk (very) short distances but is quite frail. American was great about providing a wheelchair to the gate, but then we were on our own. Because there was no designated boarding for people needing extra time or assistance, I had to sharp elbow my way to the front of the post-first class boarders and talk folks into letting her through. Stressful for both of us."
Pros: "Quick boarding due to no carry ons allowed, nice spacious seating, fast flight."
Cons: "Got there with normal roll on carry ons and were told absolutely none allowed. A notice ahead of time would have been nice. So we had to valet our bags which was not in our plan. We had to dig through our bags to get out important medicines (just in case) and expensive items. The flight was late and we had a connecting flight that was tight. Had to wait for bags before we could proceed to next gate which, of course, was as far away as we could get. I'm in knee brace and my husband has back issues. We had to book it as fast as we could to make the flight which we barely did. Not happy with the customer service at the gate in Wilmington. They were not very empathetic, courteous or nice. Not sure I'll be flying American ever again."

Extremely annoyed that there was a blatant miscommunication. I did not end up going on the flight but was unable to get a refund which seems ridiculous given that there was text on the website explicitly saying this was their policy."

Cons: "They land at the Austin airport, kind of. Once we landed they took us to a Remote terminal which required waiting for a bus to fill up and then take you back to the actual airport. There was no quick way for the bus to return and it has to drive for 15 to 20 minutes to get to the main airport. I took 1 complete hour from when I landed to when I got in my car in lot D."

I'm not sure if this flight was now worth the original case posted."

The only two seats together from Houston to Seattle were in the very last row. And, on our return flight we had to purchase Economy Plus in order to sit together."

I had to change terminals from B to E. while waiting there were many flight delayed by United Airlines. The pilot said that our flight was delayed due to crew issues/not enough leaving Mexico. We were also delayed from leaving IAH because we had to wait to board because there was not enough flight attendants. This trip was a inconvenience of my time. I should be compensated. This was ridiculous! I will never fly United Airlines again. #getittogether #hostageairlines"

For health reasons I did not want the trip to baggage and I did not want to risk my bag being lost. I drive 3 hrs o the airport and I did not want to drive back or wait 3 days for a lost bag to be sent to me as I have before. The person at the gate was rude when I said you won't lose my luggage will you? he said Probably. I said really, and he said well you did ask."

Cons: "First, when I got to the booth AFTER checking in, they told me that there isn't any more seats on the flight. The attendant proceeded to tell me "just go to JFK and see what happens" obviously I was furious. United will be lucky if I ever fly on them again"

Cons: "The cargo door did jam on the return flight so we had to wait at least 30 minutes to get our bags. Not sure if someone didn't do what they were supposed to do when securing luggage. It took maintenance some time and several calls before they came to assist."

Cons: "They had to reroute my flight four times! Then when they finally gave me a final flight I didn't get the premier seating that I paid for! Even if it's the only flight available the next time I fly I will not book with United!"
