Pros: The crew was very attentive.
Cons: The seats are tight and uncomfortable. Emirates and Singapore airlines have much more space in economy class. They also have better food. The worst new development is that you have to pay an additional charge if you want to sit together. That is pretty ridiculous for an international flight AND when you have a small child with you. I can see doing that on Ryan air, but that is pretty low for a Scandinavian airline. Scandinavians have a very strong sense of family.

Cons: Multiple delays. Need to offer back up flights and hold connections for delayed flights.

Cons: Plane was changed to a different plane and caused lots of confusion. Boarding process was chaos, loaded all passengers in a room too small with many standing and getting too hot.

Pros: Crew pleasant, operations efficient.
Cons: Main course - chicken and potatoes with tomato sauce- was not very interesting, or very Scandinavian.

Pros: Two hour flight and they served a delicious meal that was included? Unheard of! Amazing!

Cons: My seat was broken and when I alerted the attendant, in a rude tone, she replied “what do you want me to do?” Not exactly the friendliest experience. It was only compounded by the fact that when we were landing, another attendant insisted I put seat completely upright, and when I told her it had been broken the entire trip, she began forcefully shoving my seat. Not awesome.

Cons: Dinner and breakfast were terrible, especially for a long transatlantic flight. Attendants were curt. Movie selection was subpar compared to other airlines on similar flights I’ve taken.

Cons: The food was poor, ventilation system in the cabin terrible. Smell from bathrooms during the whole flight, both ways. SAS lost our luggage and nobody seams to care about it. They know that there is a problem with luggage transfer on connecting flight, but don't bother to do anything about it. Customer service representative is not able to provide any information, doesn't even understand English well. Nobody answers the phone... At this point, we're still waiting for our bags

Cons: Handling of delay: - Massive delays and time wasted with individual case handling at the transfer centre in CPH when a more efficient group/bulk handling of passengers on the same flight with similar cases would make more sense. Handling of baggage during the delay. Un-necessary additional delays with baggage handling due to poor management.

Pros: Fair leg space, kind stewards.
Cons: It would be nice if they could offer some snacks or something to drink. Seems to be higher quality than low costs, so they could afford to offer that.

Pros: My first time flying SAS on my trip to Europe from USA and I was highly impressed. Everything was efficient and comfortable. One of the highlights was the check in - this is often a long and frustrating process, however this could not have been easier and so quick. I was very happy and made my entire check in experience simple and efficient. I will be going straight to SAS for my next trip to Europe, no question. Thank you very much!!! Daniel Valewink

Pros: I was only charged half the price for my checked suitcase on the return flight - after I called SAS the day before departure.
Cons: It doesn't really matter that other aspects of the flight were ok when I had to pay £60.00 for my one regular-size suitcase, and I don't find out until I am standing at the check-in counter. Why do travelers have to pay for checked luggage, at all?

Pros: First time using SAS and very pleasant trip

Pros: Because of bad weather at the Faroe Islands, the aircraft made a missed approach (go-around) on the first attempt to land. The weather had improved sufficiently to make it in on the second attempt. The pilot and the cabin crew were excellent in keeping everyone informed, and telling us the status of the weather and the likelihood of getting in. The pilot was outstanding in his communication with the passengers and the cabin crew were great in re-assuring passengers after the missed approach. The flight crew handled the difficult weather conditions very well.

Cons: Checkin was a disaster, girl was not aware of anything she was doing and after over ten minutes of explainatiin she still put me and my bags on a wrong flight. Lady at the boarding gate tried to help and finally managed to send me and my bag in the same flight. Even bigger disappointment was that I booked a business class seat and paid three times more money then a normal economy ticket, there wasn't any business class seat and all seats were occupied in the front rows. Staff was generally rude and not willing to help.

Cons: Even though it was clear from my reservation that checked baggage was not included in the initial price, there were no clear links in kayak/vayama or SAS to prepay baggage, and the price is double if you pay at the airport.

Cons: A landing card us required from each non EU passport holder. No mention of this was ever made, and we stood in front of an open customs desk filling out the forms we could have done at leisure during the flight. A lot of other stuff was poor -- seat pitch, no free food, etc. but this was one simple thing other airlines usually do.

Pros: The flight from Newark to Stockholm was late, so I was late for the flight to Vilnius,had to recheck-in and wait for 6 hours.

Cons: Unfriendly and rude desk help. Rude and insulting. United was a real disappointment. I will ask my travel agent to be in touch re screw up the economy plus seats. I had to pay extra for what our itinerant said had been booked. Mary, at the desk at C12 in Delles, she wouldn't give me her last name was unbelievably insulting and unhelpful.

Also staff just let people leave their windows open which was crazy coz most passengers are tired from other trips and of course in Europe you can hardly see anyone letting the elderly and children have any first priority boarding or let alone line up. I had my disabled husband and a young active little grandchild... Cathay Pacific, PAL,KAL, CAL are great about priority boarding for the elderly and children. Its sad your company do not have compassion or empathy for families with little children and the elderly population.. They really suffer!

Cons: That I didn't make it to Chicago the day I planned. My first leg had computer issues in Rome which pushed the flight back 4 hours which then made me miss my connecting flight. Had to stay a night in Copenhagen and fly out at 1540 the next day.

Cons: The "business" class was closer to economy. Aside from being in the front rows and boarding earlier, the seats and legroom were the same. On top of that they lost my luggage

Pros: Not full- middle seat in coach was empty. Newish 737-700, nice crew. Seats were reasonably comfortable with decent seat pitch.
Cons: Meal (chicken) was inedible- and I am not fussy about airline food. The in-plane entertainment system is not activated (nor on my return flight), so they hand out i-pads with a very limited movie/TV show selection- one more piece of electronics to handle. Would have been difficult juggling, along with work computer, etc. if all seats were filled.

Cons: Most other airlines recognize their top tier members - even if they occasionally fly economy. SAS does really NOT
