On landing, we had to wait for the bus while most of the aerobridges were empty. Bad experience

Make seat comfortable in premium economy ,food better!

Cabin temperature was too low and uncomfortable

The trip was booked on a Premium Economy, I was moved to standard economy with no compensation. When I boarded the flight crew had already made someone else sit in my place who were reluctant to give me my seat. Quite a few people were found not wearing masks and crew did nothing about it. No choice of food in spite of me with a standard economy ticket that includes the option of food.

Pathetic ground staff and customer care. I paid for an upgrade 3 weeks before the journey, and I was downgraded with no reason.

No Food, No beverages, only water, and there is no information about this sudden change

Comfort and safety. At least packaged food could be served to Business Class passengers.

Surprisingly pleasant experience despite Covid-19 times. Food was too good!

I was asked to wait for almost an hour and a half to get my documents cleared for my travel to dubai. After all that wait I was asked to sign an Indemnity form stating that I'll be responsible for any penalties whatsoever from Dubai Immigration if denied entry in dubai. The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

Anyway we missed flight from Delhi to Amritsar. We bought new one way ticket from the airport that evening. We were 5 adults and one baby visiting Golden temple from USA."

Bag check is not as smooth as can be at CST Terminal 2. Passengers are advised to print out and attach boarding passes at home in a bid to avoid crowding at self-service kiosks given the Covid-19 public health crisis. However attendants then say tags need to be re-printed at the counter as the ones provided by the airline at the airport are more secure. While the check-in process is aided by the helpful staff, Indigo Airlines could do a better job of providing more self-service kiosks and clearer guidance during the online purchase process. Suggest calling ahead to confirm situation on the ground.

We were charged 3000rps each for overweight luggage and the staff at the check in counter in Jaipur were really rude about it. After having paid an extra 3000 rps which was almost like buying another flight ticket to new Delhi for just a 35 min flight, our flight was 1 hour delayed!! Definitely we will NEVER fly with indigo again!!!"

Air India played some games. They cancelled the flight on us, and moved us out by a month. When we asked to change the dates, there was no availability. So I ended up cancelling my flight, however on my original date of travel the flight flew. I wonder if AirIndia is playing games with us and cancelled our tickets alone.

General upkeep of the flight could have been better. One of the toilet in economy class stopped working within 3 hours of the flight. Selection of movies in regional language is not adequate. The monitor was not functioning properly. Map feature not working.

Other than TV everything was good

Pros: "We didn't like anything. We booked the ticket in advance, and they didn't inform us about the time change (plane departed 2 hours earlier than the mentioned time in the ticket). On top of that, the staffs were rude and blamed us for missing flight. After a lengthy discussion, they booked for the next flight. For the next flight (1 am), we waited for the wheelchair after getting the ticket to get to the TSA clearance area before boarding the aircraft. After 2 hours wait, one of the airport staff asked to walk to the security area (several senior passengers had difficulty walking) because it was too close to the boarding time, and no one came with the wheelchair. Very disappointing experience with Air India!"

Need more training to handle issues similar to what we faced, learn how to escalate to their supervisors rather than standing and smiling, and saying that "we cannot do anything at this time." Pros: "1.The crew was average. the seat comfort is different in different rows as far as legroom is concerned. 2. The crew member was not aware of the procedure involved in passengers involved transfers to various destinations after landing at New Delhi. They misguided some passengers(including me) directing them to exit through emmigration procedure, collect the baggage and report at domestic transfer desk. we had been issued Transfer Boarding Pass at Chicago itself for our connection flight to Bengaluru.There was no need to go through the emmigration at New Delhi and collect the baggage. The baggage collection procedure was a hell of a business. This can be verified from the various registers maintained at domestic transfer desk. it took almost 3 hours for getting the luggage going through the customs etc, 4. At the arrival lounge there was no AIR INDIA HELP DESK or representative to guide the passengers. Similarly, the sign board only displayed transfers/baggage claims arrows. and the suddenly one finds a sign board displaying domestic transfers. At this point confusion arises as the passengers disembarked from international flights are required to go to international transfers where there is no requirements for emmigration and baggage collection as the emmigration procedures take place at final destination if it has the facilities. 3, The numbers of passengers affected may be verified from the various registers at the airport. On three registers kept at various entry points, we had to make entries as regards passport No. baggage tag No. Fligh No. etc, etc."
Cons: "WE received an email from AIR INDIA that our connecting Flight AI 174 from New Delhi to Bengaluru has been cancelled due to operational reasons. The new connecting flight is AI 1174 from New Delhi to Bengaluru. 2. While checking in at Chicago we were issued Transfer boarding passes for second leg of journey from New Delhi to Bengaluru. It displayed Flight No. AI 174, instead of AI 1174. When this was brought to the notice of the official at the counter at Chicago airport he told in their computer there is no change. The baggage tags also displayed AI 174. 3. After alighting at New Delhi and going through all the hell when we checked in at domestic transfer desk, the official observed that out Transfer Boarding passes for Delhi-Bengaluru sector is for AI 174 and the luggage ( four bags) also contained the same flight number AI 174. 4, we were told we will now be issued new boarding passes for AI 1774 as domestic passengers. SIMILARLY, new baggage tags were placed on luggage. There we were also told that AI 174 a San Francisco to Bengaluru Flight via New Delhi is not cancelled and it is only delayed, Had we not been misguided at Delhi, we could have simply boarded AI 174 at Delhi and the luggage also could have reached Bengaluru in the same flight without we going through the procedure of baggage retrieval process at Delhi as it was along with other passengers luggage already kept AT DELHI AIRPORT departure terminal for uploading in AI 174. It is our humble suggestion that even by mistake if passengers go through emmigration procedures at one airport instead of the next port of destination, system should be in place to take care of the same by MARKING the person to again go through the emmigration procedure at the final destination.."

Cons: "The service is very very poor compared with any other competitor in each and every aspect including fare and service. They should be ashamed to charge/ sell the seats which have problems. The entertainment system wasn’t working for me for a paid seat and unfortunately they also couldn’t turn it off completely until half of my journey and finally they covered the monitors with blankets to stop the light so that we were able to sleep just for 3 hours out of 15 hour journey. Again this is for a paid seat and they proudly say it’s the same issue for atleast 40% of the seats"
Pros: "I really enjoyed these seats, my only fault was there is nowhere to put anything but will know next time, the legroom was great, albeit right by the toilets it did not bother me too much, I knew when the toilets were empty and I could just get up and go.There was no real pooling around the toilet area, at least not when I was awake. Flight time 12 hours 35 mins Flying Sydney to Delhi, I found the crew member for our section most willing and helpful, few issues with the fold away screen, not staying upright and not wanting to twist and be flexible to let you out of your seat! As an International passenger I should have had a landing card but the crew member did not give me one as I was travelling onto Mumbai where on the internal/domestic flight they do not issue one so I had to complete one at Immigration...(that's another story!)"
Cons: "I feel the toilets could be serviced on a more regular basis. With 250 plus passengers and I don't know how many toilets maybe 8, they certainly need regular servicing. Towards the end of the journey they were starting to smell and became very untidy with paper being trailed around the cabin on the bottom of peoples shoes. Maybe a two line guide on the door for passengers who do not take notice of the green and red lights for vacant and engaged. I saw many people just standing there waiting outside the toilet for someone to come out before they went in. Other passengers savvy to this just jumped the queue in front of them thinking they may just be stretching their legs."
Cons: "At the Chicago airport I have to plead for the seats together for my parents and after realizing that my mother had a broken arm ,they finally gave one. This situation became worst when the Air India Airline didn't provided wheel chair assistance to my parents at the destination airport in New Delhi. We had requested it way earlier with our Itinerary. This is one of the worst flight to book. If you are taking this feedback try to work on this and make other customers aware that beware of booking your flights with Air India when you need wheel chair assistance."

Cons: "Awful service! The air hosts/hostesses don't care about you if you traveling economy. This was a 16 hour flight but they didn't even offer water for 6-7 hours. I used my attendant button at least 12 times and no one came to my seat. I had to hunt them down and found all of them holed up in the back of the plan gossiping and laughing. Adding to this, their entertainment systems were faulty and didn't work half of the time I was on the plane. The sound quality may have been alright but the headphones that they provided gave a really muffled sound so it was really hard to understand. I tried to use my personal headphones but the entertainment system would only allow for Air India's "special" headphones. The food was mediocre and they served their meals in spurts. Within the first two hours of the plane taking off, they served us one meal. Then there was no food or water service for at least 8 more hours. Then they gave us a meal 4 hours before we were supposed to land and then again a heavy snack an hour later. So basically, we were left to fend for ourselves for 8 hours with no food or water. I am dreading the journey back from Delhi to Chicago now."

When the passengers reached the boarding counter, new passes were not issued. Passengers were asked to simply waiti for 3 hours to find out if flight wasn’t going to leave . After 3 hours they were asked to wait a another hour. After 5 hours passengers were informed that flight was canceled and to check back the next day for the flight. No reasons we’re pricided. Weather was clear. Staff did not know anything. They would r even associate themselves with Air India. I would not tecommmed this airline to anyone . If this is any evidence of how any airline is run, then I wouldn’t feel safe traveling in that airline."

Cons: "Neither the touch screen display or the remote worked. Mentioned that to one of the flight attendant who told me that the system will be reset after the food service. That did not happen so after waiting for another 2 hours into the flight, I spoke to another attendant who did reset the entertainment system. It did not work. Brought it to her attention and the response I got was, "Sorry, the flight is full and there is no other seat available". I had to sit through 14 hour long journey looking at other passengers or hear babies cry non-stop !"

What do you expect one to do for 14+ hours if they don’t get sleep on a flight?! Ran out of bathroom rolls The back side of the seat was broken so every time the person behind you move or put something in back pocket, you could feel the entire pressure on the seat making it extremely uncomfortable for flight duration."

Cons: "Check-in was slow and indifferent. Boarding was chaos and then we had to be held back on the bridge because they realized the aircraft was still being cleaned. Plane was dirty and rundown, despite being a recent Boeing Dreamliner - looked like a drunken rugby stag party had spent a night kicking the seats. In-flight information for immigration was incorrect, leading us to stand in the wrong line for 10 minutes once we got to Delhi. Priority baggage tags were useless - I had a quick domestic connection in Delhi that we almost missed because they couldn't find my luggage, then when we arrived at our final destination the luggage was still back in Delhi. I had to wait 24 hours for it to arrive in Jodhpur. I left sunglasses and headphones on the plane but don't bother trying to contact lost property - the email address on Air India website is no longer in use, and customer service don't want to know about it and said to call the airport."
Pros: "I loved the food! It tantalized my taste buds. I also like that I was able to sit in the seats I reserved online."
Cons: "The plane was a mess - there was trash on the floor throughout the entire plane, and flight attendants just ignored it. I don't mean one little piece of paper...I mean actual garbage littering the walkways. Flight attendants were scarce during the flight. The entertainment systems were terrible. My touchscreen was broken and the selection button on the remote didn't work, and my wife had a broken remote as well. I specifically selected Air India over several other reputable airlines, but I feel a bit ripped off. For a short flight these things aren't a big issue, but for a 13.5 hour flight I must have quality and reliability. Next time I will book with Emirates."

Pros: "Crew was very helpful in general. I did not have any issues, but the passenger in the seat next to me had quite a lot of issues, since it was the first time she was travelling. The crew was very helpful, and in my opinion, they did everything possible to make her comfortable."
Cons: "The luggage check in process was a mess. We were directed to a particular line to complete the check in. As we were standing in the line, 4 out 6 agents closed down and went elsewhere, leaving everyone in the line to check in with remaining 2 agents there. An old couple were there as well, who moved from one counter to the next, to the next, and they were then told to come back in the line! Two of us were traveling together, and presented our tickets together, but we were given seats far away. I requested them for adjacent seats and they said that none were available. I insisted and stayed at the counter, and immediately, the agent found 2 adjacent seats, going on to show that she did not even look for it the first time. The seats have poor cushion. I needed to use multiple pillows to provide cushion for sitting and for back support. The food was average. For some reason, they make the curry extremely spicy, as a result of which many of the passengers find it difficult to eat. The inconsistency of the entertainment unit in AI flights is well known. In many flights, in many rows, it does not work, immaterial of the number of times they reset it. Fortunately for us, this time, the unit was working fine in both our seats. That was not the case during our to-journey."

The flight attendants on the plane were lovely and helpful but the the Air India crew in the airport was not helpful at all in solving the problem their company created. On top of that my luggage is missing and I keep getting the run-around from Air India. I called a number, they told me to call another number. I called 6 times before anyone picked up. They told me to send an email. It's been a week and I still haven't even talked to anyone about my luggage."

Cons: "The entertainment system was not working at my seat. Passenger in front of me also had issues with the entertainment system. Specifically the audio port had issues. Crew member suggested I shift to another seat where he said it was working. At that seat the video was not working. On being informed of the same he asked me to shift again. I didn't trust the crew and gave up. Being a long distance flight, working in flight entertainment is a necessary element. The second seat had issue while tilting back. It tilted back almost flat( broken )."
Cons: "Flew the AIR INDIA direct flight from SFO to Delhi with return. None of on-board services were working as expected with extended delay in services. The in-flight entertainment system did not work at all. Neither the touch mode, nor the remote controller mode. In fact, buttons had come out from the remote controller, even the button to call flight attendsnt had come out. The headset was broken. I thought atleast food will be better than other flights, but it was sub-standards. You better make plans outside of food, drinks and in-flight entertainment if you still like to take advantage of the flight being non-stop. Like have your own book, ipad, headset, these were my saviour."
