There’s a reason SIN is on of the BEST airline in the world.
I was very impressed with this airline. The flight was comfortable the plane was clean and the attendants were very nice. The zipper on my suitcase broke after I checked it. The airline wrapped it in plastic wrap, so it wouldn’t continue to fall apart. Every item I had in the suitcase was there when I got to Los Angeles. That is above and beyond!

SQ, you may want to change what you are proud of. It's no longer a first class service, at least not to us poor economy class passengers."

Someone met me at the end of my second flight to tell me I missed my connecting flight. With the adjusted flight Singapore gave me, there was no chance I would have made it. They did purchase a ticket for me on another airline to get to San Francisco in the end."

Pros: "We've flown asian airlines before, but Emirates is by far the best for international travel. Unfortunately we could not afford to upgrade to business, but because we let the Agent know it was our honeymoon he put my wife and I in a window and aisle seat so that we would have nobody between us. This gave us the extra room and comfort we needed. Also, they are a bit roomier than most planes with better leg room. They have a TON of free movies, tv shows, games, music and more on the plane. Food was decent for airplane food and they gave lots of snacks in between."

The Emirates service desk offered no help in getting us on the next flight home. They were booked full the following day with the exception of business class seats and were going to charge us an additional $4000 which included $600 each for being a no show. They refused to waive any fees so it was drastically cheaper to fly home with another airline. I am most disappointed in their lack of effort to assist us in getting home and they really showed no concern. I will never fly this airline again."

The food was good: an unbelievable improvement from the previous flight (I recommend the chicken). The ICE system was impeccable. It had a wide selection of movies, TV shows, and games as well as access to the news. However, the flight's greatest perk my have been the compassionate crew. They were very helpful and friendly. They offered many accommodations, like a pizza and photo, all for free. Overall, the flight went very well."

Also, the food for breakfast was good but nothing great- the dinner on the previous flight was much more appetizing. Having said all that, flying Emirates was still a very pleasant experience."

Or have those rope lines like they do at banks and make the people form a line."

Usually I'm allowed a regular carry-on and a personal item (i.e., a small backpack), but Emirates was very strict on the personal items. Personal items are limited to only Business and First Class passengers. Also, they were extremely strict about the size of my carry-on. As someone who has been on 20+ flights in this year alone, few of them being budget airlines (which are generally very strict), I had no issues whatsoever with the size of my carry-on until I flew with Emirates."

Not only did they (Maldivian Emirates counter officer Ibrahim Shinad) refused to give me a lounge they said to get a room at a hotel was $400 US! Which is absurd. I had to sleep on metal chairs. They also closed most shops by 12am and by the time we landed and went through checkin it was 1130. Not a pleasant experience at all."
Cabin temperature was too low and uncomfortable
The trip was booked on a Premium Economy, I was moved to standard economy with no compensation. When I boarded the flight crew had already made someone else sit in my place who were reluctant to give me my seat. Quite a few people were found not wearing masks and crew did nothing about it. No choice of food in spite of me with a standard economy ticket that includes the option of food.
Pathetic ground staff and customer care. I paid for an upgrade 3 weeks before the journey, and I was downgraded with no reason.
No Food, No beverages, only water, and there is no information about this sudden change
Comfort and safety. At least packaged food could be served to Business Class passengers.

After all that wait I was asked to sign an Indemnity form stating that I'll be responsible for any penalties whatsoever from Dubai Immigration if denied entry in dubai. The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

Bangkok Air has been hit with the challenge of flying during COVID like everyone else. Still, they are early to get started again and offer normal services when possible. It is nice to have a lounge for all passengers vs. going to gate and sitting to stare out at planes.

But after the bags got dropped off, there was a notice of it being discoloured from being scraped and damaged. It also has a bad stench amell on it and am very disappointed that this happened. A glass item broke in the bag but this my problem as wasnt properly sealed but goes to show the very rough handly my luggage had. I travel internationally quite often and know that 40 or 50kg is the norm. I was charged $8 /kg for 24kg overweight. This end up costing twice as much as the round trip flight. Now, I have to pay similar amount on the return flight. I take photographs from the airplane and found the window to be scratched."

There was no vegetarian food option, blink and you missed the drink service, the plane was quite old stock but comfortable enough. Boarding wad a little confusing - multiple flights called to the same gate at the same time and not particularly good signage about what do when you got there. Having said that, the staff were be mentally polite and tried to be helpful and that they attempted any kind of service on the 40min flight from Bangkok to Siem Reap was laudable. Still better than some experiences I've had on Ryanair or Eurowings in Europe."
