Pros: Air Canada crews continue to be friendly, polite and proactive, and definitely earn their best-in-North-America ranking.

Cons: I haven't flown AC in a while, but I remember this flight having dinner service and cookies + ice cream. While the printed menus themselves have improved, I would have preferred dinner service over breakfast especially as those with connecting flights get another breakfast no matter how short.

Cons: Took 45 minutes to get through Calgary security, long line ups

Cons: Food at AirChina is alway consistently terrible I Asked for the red wine, they only fill 1/3 of a glass, I asked for it again, then it was filled only to 1/2 glass No personal entertainment, no USB charging

Cons: Need better movie options

Pros: Very friendly crew and ground staff. Excellent food onboard, great entertainment system, and it was easy to get some rest. The business class layout is ideal when traveling with a companion.

Cons: The seats feel a little cramped due to limited stowage space and a fairly narrow legrest. Lounge in Beijing lacked air conditioning.

Cons: Food mediocre at best. Air China serves beef or fish. If you don't eat either, request vegetarian. Food not as good as other airlines.

Pros: Very hard working, responsive and caring crew. Kept the washrooms clean throughout the flight. Pretty good space between rows considering economy class. Lots of little touches like slippers and toothbrush.

THEN THE PLANE WAS DELAYED FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS!!! I was stranded in NY, overnight, and had to pay hundreds of dollars for a train ticket and a cab.

Cons: Siting at exit row gave more legroom thus more comfortable and more sleep. Disadvantage is that apurar must be stowed in bin overhead which is not within reach. It’s a bit of inconvenient and feeling insecure for important papers and $ inside.

We were hungry through out as the quantities were so little and barely there . The toilets were bad and didn’t even carry tissues

Cons: Flight delayed and then cancelled NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER as to what was going on. We finally got rebooked in another flight on a Chinese airline at 2:30am so we had to stay at jfk for a total of about 24 hours with no compensation for our time and troubles. Horrible. Experience!

Pros: Emirates was very efficient. Vegetarian food options were great. Toilet was messy but probably because it was in constant use.

Cons: Upgraded seats in the planes, especially business class, seats did not work properly or recline all the way, very uncomfortable. Food was mediocre at best, movie library needs updating. I'm also not sure why an older model of this aircraft is used on such a long haul flight.

Cons: Seats were a bit uncomfortable...but what do you expect after an 11 hour and 20 minute flight?

Pros: I had a nice exit row seat and the plane had a good selection of entertainment.

Cons: flights were delayed significantly and in Tbilisi the staff did not show up until about 10 minutes before the plane was supposed to depart. Crew had not been inside the new airport and could not answer questions about transfers.

Cons: There is completely no free snacks, just drinks (excluding alcohol). The maintenance didn't sign some papers for the plane which cause the unnecessary delay.

Pros: The crew was so friendly compared to other airlines, and the pilots seemed more skilled as well. Very smooth landings in spite of turbulence.

Cons: The flight was delayed. The pilot explained that the plane had been sitting in the sun all day and during the flight check, they realized that the interior of the plane had gotten over 100 degrees by not being operated for hours before the flight. Seems like poor planning or preparation.

Then to top it off a lost bag and over 2.0 hours spent either on hold or awaiting a call back to resolve issues with my last bag-totally unacceptable

Pros: Food choices was very limited to beef and fish. We had a connecting flight for international and both leg has the same food choices.

Cons: They should really Consider adding more movie options, in English without having to read subtitles. I had a 13 1/2 hour flight and an 18 hour flight. The movie options were awful and made for our own not so entertaining flight.

Pros: Crew was amazing. They adjusted the seating arrangements so there was an empty seat in every row to give passengers more space. Very thoughtful and much appreciated. They served delicious meals, snacks, and water. They provided headphones, blankets and pillows. They took very good care of us.
