Seats are comfy and spacious, much wider than Emirates in the same class (who offer only an extra 1/2 inch width over economy). Amenity kit a quality piece that is both practical and useful."

Then told that we won't be getting on until 7am the next day, but only really started boarding at 8:30am. By the time we were told about the reschedule to the next morning, it was too late to get a hotel room (too far away) and was told that I could use a 'Quiet Lounge' at the airport (which wasn't quiet). While waiting to board at 7am the next day, ground staff told us that they had to change the plane so there would be a further delay. On boarding, we discovered that it was the SAME PLANE."

Pros: "I travel from Sydney to Europe (UK and Greece) regularly. My experience with Qatar airways was fantastic: I highly recommend it. First of all, the travelling hours are a bit shorter (compared to travelling via Singapore or Hong Kong) probably because of the geography of the cities/connections and the corresponding flight times between Athens-Doha-Sydney. The aircraft was exceptional (I believe it was Airbus A380). It was a double-deck, wide-body and four-engine jet airliner. Cabin and economy class seats were very comfortable and more spacious compared to other aircraft. There was minimal turbulence, which is partially due to the type of aircraft: at least this is my understanding. The aircraft also had wi-fi (complimentary for the first 15 min) and one was allowed to use the mobile phone during the flight (except during take off and landing times). The flight attendants were absolutely amazing. Also, the crew was very understanding and friendly with children. Food was also excellent and in good portions. Overall there was high tech aircraft, excellent service and no delays. I will choose it again in the future."

The trip was booked on a Premium Economy, I was moved to standard economy with no compensation. When I boarded the flight crew had already made someone else sit in my place who were reluctant to give me my seat. Quite a few people were found not wearing masks and crew did nothing about it. No choice of food in spite of me with a standard economy ticket that includes the option of food.
Pathetic ground staff and customer care. I paid for an upgrade 3 weeks before the journey, and I was downgraded with no reason.

Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

Even though the delay was over 6 hours they gave no compensation besides lounge access to a lounge that is not fully functional. The next morning (yes the delay was overnight and they didn’t provide a hotel room) they called us all to the gate only to tell us they still were waiting for the plane to be repaired (the night before they’d Told us the flight would be in time as they’d flown another plane in). Again there was only one Oman air agent and just normal airport staff to handle the full flight. People were yelling and there was a lot of anger but no official announcements were ever made and only rumors passed from those who actually had a chance to talk to the on me guy. Finally when i arrived in Bangkok it seemed like they had there act together as there were many agents on the gangway to assist people to find connecting flights. Being so late there was only on flight for me and several others trying to get to Phuket. An agent took us to immigration and told us all he’d meet us in the other side to take us to the check in. HE DIDN’T SHOW UP. We couldn’t go back in the airport to find him or anyone from Oman air and were left to find an airport employee who graciously helped us find the booking office and just make the flight. I fly internationally regularly and this was by far the worst airline experience I’ve ever had or even heard about."

Also no direct connection to terminal, planes park out on tarmac and take people on 1 km bus ride to connect to terminal. Legroom was pretty tight but not horrid Crew making announcements on landing were unprofessional, heard co-pilot or steward laughing in the background - while captain droned on in Arabic - this does not engender confidence in their ability to fly the plane!"

It was embarrassing as we had brought luggage as per tickets issued. IF THE AGENT APPOINTED BY OMAN AIR HAD ISSUED A WRONG TICKET, IT IS THE PRINCIPAL WHO IS RESPONSIBLE WHICH IN THIS CASE IS OMAN AIR. IT WAS A BAD EXPERIENCE AND OMAN AIR HAS TO COMPENSATE. The entertainment screens did not work for quite some time."

As a US citizen I had read you can get a visa on arrival in Dubai with just your passport. Ticket agent was prepared to deny my passage on flight. Luckily I had my computer with me with my exit flight info on it which I showed to agent. In order to satisfy passport immigration when I got to Dubai I took a phone camera picture of my exit flight info. When I got to passport immigration desk in Dubai the first thing I did was show my phone camera picture of exit flight info. She said "We don't need that, we just need your passport" and I am thinking "Scam". Oman Airline would like for you to purchase additional on the spot airline ticket from them if you don't have one. As an airline in the travel business I would think that Oman Airline would make it a point to know what the rules of travel are."

Boarding was NOT good enough. Our cabin luggage was pushed back to check-in in the pretext of packed flight. But eventually there were empty seats on the flight. Also, we booked seats on exit rows... But seems something got changed and we got same seats alright, but they were no longer on exit row (& that was empty eventually). Flight claimed to have a travel time of 1 hour 50 minutes, but it took around 2:20 minutes (seems Indigo has a different clock). 😂

This really felt like a scam! We asked to cancel the flight and were told we could, but there was no guarantee of any refund. We said to cancel it anyway. Later I was told there would be no refund. I assumed it had been canceled and yet I got emails telling me it was time to check in, etc. And then I’m asked to review my flight! So, between Indigo and Kiwi.com I felt I got terrible service. I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."
