Shortly before we landed at Manila, we were informed that in order to meet international flight rules and regulations that insecticide will be sprayed we were advised to cover our nose,as a medical personnel I see it not good cos it can trigger an Asthmatic attack in a known asthmatic patient ,it was a lovely journey"

Still, I would book another flight with Qatar airways for their efforts and overall good service."

Although a short regional flight, Oman Air continues to provide excellent service, and personal attention. I always find the Oman Air leg of an international flight less stressful and more personable.

Cons: "The connection time between these two flights that you sell as a package is not enough. It is a 30 Min journey to do in a 45 min transfer, and the gate closes 30 mins before departure. Then if you’re first plane is delayed even by ten minutes (as mine was) you are more unable to catch your flight"

Allowed passengers to get up, collect thier bags from overhead compartments immediately after landing and during taxi. Clogged asiles. Poor air con during flight. Extremely cramped seating. Low budget and lax attitude. Consistently late flights On a positive note, direct nonstop flights to major destinations at good rates. You get what you pay for though."

Pros: "I flew economy Melbourne > Abu Dhabi and then Abu Dhabi to Melbourne. The first leg of the flight was great, the flight wasn’t full and I had a whole row to myself. The flight attendant even gave me some tips to ensure nobody sat there. This flight was on an A380 so the plane was large and it felt spacious."
Cons: "There are a number of things that Etihad do that just degrade the quality and experience of the flight and I probably wouldn’t fly with them again as a result. I’ve listed these below: 1) Entertainment system is poorly appointed and travel in two seperate months found that little had been refreshed on the in flight programs. 2) The entertainment system is deactivated until the seat belt sign is turned off, and is deactivated again about 30 minutes prior to landing. 3) You practically have to cut off your arm to get some water. I would always bring my own water on the flight, but Australian regulations prevent more than 100mls being carried on flight. 4) The service is inconsistent, some staff are just downright rude and others are incredibly friendly. The time waiting after pressing the call bell is excessive and in one case my drink never arrived. 5) Unlike other airlines, they don’t give you a “menu” to chose from for the inflight meal. Instead they just come around asking “Chicken, Lamb or vegetarian”, and lack any real understanding of what’s actually in the food. 6) When you order a drink, they open the can pour some into a cup but don’t give you the remainder in the can. 7) The inflight wifi is expensive. 19.95 USD for 180mb puts them at one of the most expensive. Overall, I would have expected a bit more from an airline such as Etihad."

Cons: "I checked in at Hyderabad and the check in staff were more than unprofessional. First they said my carry on bag and laptop bag should be no more than 7 kgs which was wrong. Later when I asked them to show the baggage restrictions, they went back saying it's okay. I had only 1 check in bag and it weight 1 kg more. I thought they would allow it since I had only 1 check in bag but they made me take out that extra kg and check in my carry on as second bag. Finally I asked for an aisle seat and they said the flight was full. But when I boarded the IAD flight I was rather surprised to see quite a few aisle and window seats. So rather than being a great experience, I would say it was a mediocre one because of the Hyderabad staff."
