Cons: "Didn't have much option of food because I don't eat meat or dairy. I had the sides of salad, bread, and crackers. I'm used to not having many options as a vegan and don't expect there to be much available, but just commenting."

Cons: "Got through the extensive security lines to USA one hour before scheduled departure and looked at the screen which said 'final boarding' which was not true and made us panic a bit, running for the gate. It did board and leave on time but not an hour early. This flight was night and day different than our ORD to Dublin flight of 5.12.17 which was 5 hours delayed and do stressful."

Cons: "We didn't fly Finnair. All of my emails said Finnair and then when arrived at the Finnair counter they didn't have my family registered. After some panicking, we were told to try American Airlines. That is who we flew with, not Finnair"

Cons: "Not enough movies! No individual screens. Plans had dirt stuck all along the air vents"

Pros: "My wife and liked the food selection during both flights. We also liked how one of five flight attendants actually seemed to enjoy their job. And also how that one flight attendant made sure we were taken care of."
Cons: "Initially upon arriving in phili, my wife and I boarded the plane and I walked on the plane first than immediately my wife was asked by a flight attendant if she was supposed to be on the flight without any explanation at all, it was weird and disheartening. Also other than one flight attendant actually seemed to enjoy what they were doing, and I am a big customer service man, and some of the attendants didn't seem to care AT ALL at many points, very disappointed. Also he plane that we took out of the United States to go to Ireland was very small, and the plane to return us to the states was very small as well. The flight from our connection in phili to go to Charlotte was the biggest plane we had, just for a two hour ride.. really disaipointsd with American Airlines."

Or Swiss Air. Or even Ethiopian Airlines. Just smile. Be genuinely nice. This bunch were grumpy, conceded, and unfriendy."

Cons: "Was never asked for dietary restrictions so no vegetarian meals were available, pretty old aircraft to be flying that route, no seat back entertainment"

Cons: "I was selected for a random inspection. I was pulled aside and went through a separate check in process. I completed everything I was instructed to do and as I'm boarding, I'm pulled aside and told I needed to go back to pre clearance because someone forgot to punch a hole in my boarding pass. The stewardess and j had to run all the way back to security so I could go through the whole process again. I delayed the flight and everyone was upset. It was completely unnecessary. Simply because one employee didn't do their job, I delayed a transatlantic flight to Chicago. Best part, I arrived at the airport four hours before my flight. Also, the seats are incredibly uncomfortable. And I was separated from my traveling companion for this entire process. Had I missed the flight, she would never have known."

Cons: "The flight movies and entertainment were down the whole flights but only for our seats. Which on an international flight was the pits."

Cons: "The touch-screen entertainment system was not very responsive. It was difficult to get the screen to recognize your selection."

Cons: "There were 2 meal choices., one was chicken and one vegetarian curry/rice dish. Clearly the chicken would be the most sought after meal and the flight attendant even suggested the possibility that everyone would not get their first choice, and ofcourse they didn't. We had a group of 10 traveling and by the time some of,our group was served the chicken was gone. Our daughter was 7 months pregnant and was one who didn't get a chicken meal. I don't understand why the airline would not provide an adequate amount of meals that would apply to the masses. Only a few vegetarian to fill in for specific diets would be expected. We all felt this was poor planning on the part of the airline catering company.."

Pros: "Upon sitting down, I was able to fall asleep almost instantly. The helpful stewardesses were constantly aware of my needs."
Cons: "Check-in desk seemed confused and unorganized. Two very friendly ladies were helping out but were on different wavelengths."

Pros: "The food was very good! Chicken and mashed potatoes with broccoli was very tasty! A very small salad, a seeded bun, cheese and crackers and apple crumble rounded out the meal. Later pretzels and the grilled cheese and blueberry pastry. Pillow and blanket nice."

Cons: "That this became an American Airlines flight after booking and no one from either airline contacted us to tell us. We couldn't find the Finnair flight anywhere and came to figure out that American was handling this flight."

Pros: "It left on time, the cabin crew were very nice, they kept us well fed. The pilot didn't hit any pot holes. No annoying children. We didn't realize that we would have to go thru US customs at the Dublin airport, That added another big chunk of time to reach the boarding gate. We made it with 20 minutes to spare. On the plus side, we could just breeze thru the US side and leave the airport."

Cons: "Boarding process was confusing and crowded. The seats were tight together in coach. My entertainment system didn't work, but the screen stayed a low glow. Food was unpleasant."

Pros: "I was worried the economy seats would be cramped or uncomfortable. But that was not the case. We sat near the rear of plane and had more leg room than the bus we took from airport to home. The entire experience was good- a screen in front of each seat (movie tv, games), provided pillow and blanket for each seat (shielded in a sealed plastic bag), dinner, pretzels, ice cream and a snack of pizza roll and muffin about an hour before landing. Staff were polite and professional."
Cons: "I am afraid AA doesn't get the respect it deserves. We went to Ireland with a group of friends who traveled on another airline. They seemed to think the extra $350 each they paid for their RT tickets was a much better value. I can't see how it could have been better. We were pleased with the flight both ways. Good value, in my opinion. (By the way, I have no affiliation with AA what so ever)."

Cons: "Our flight to Dublin had a 90 minute departure delay and upon arrival to Dublin we waiting over an hour for a gate. The return flight back to JFK was delayed over 3.5 hours!"

Pros: "Fed us well. The food and drinks kept coming, all fairly descent. Great entertainment. Pillow and blanket very comfortable."
