Cons: "My transfer was supposed to be from JFK, but when I arrived a staff told me to take a taxi and go to LaGardia airport. Nobody apologized neither explained why I had to go there. Instead from leaving New York at 5.25 pm the flight was delayed to 8.30 pm. Horrible flight with angry employees"

Cons: "Duck tape holding up oxygen mask compartment 1 row behind us. Cabin entertainment monitor was missing a 3rd of the display and only one headphone jack in our row worked. Thankfully, we brought a splitter. We will never book an American Flight again. Aer Lingus was STELLAR. No comparison."

Cons: "My video screen was busted. Long 9 hrs without anything to watch. Food was cold (as in not reheated after being frozen). Landed at PHL and sat at the gate for 45 min before deplaning, which made us miss our connection. Apparently there’s NO other gate to deplane from than the one they picked. Ridiculous."

Cons: "I was not given my handicap assistance that I requested."

Cons: "Unable to access the internet. It was American flight, not Alaska flight"

Pros: "My wife is hypoglycemic and requires food. The flight was so early that none of the terminal restaraunts were open, nor did the plain have food for any passengers accept first class. I've purchased a box on other flights, but this one did not provide an option for a box lunch or breakfast."

Pros: "Booked through Kayak. Confusing because paperwork says Alaska Air but I was flying American. I understand subsidiaries but you need to be informed as the airlines are at different terminals. The flight was great. That ticketing glitch was bad."

Cons: "My video screen watching a movie froze the last couple of hours. Let the attendants know, nothing ever happened and reminded them a few times over the 2 hr period."

Cons: "I bought the tickets together, but was informed at the ticket counter that i had only purchased tickets—not boarding passes. Boarding passes needed to be purchased by paying extra if my husband and I wanted to sit next to each other. I tried calling the customer service line through kayak and waited on hold for a long time with no indication of wait time. When the gate agent arrived, we asked and were moved to seats next to each other right away. The ticket agent at initial check in was very abrasive and non-solution oriented. if what she was saying was true— that we only paid for tickets and had to pay extra for boarding passes together— that was never made clear during the booking process. It’s unlikely I’ll use kayak again unless I know for sure what I’m buying."

Pros: "I like that American Airlines did not charge for my carry-on. It was a short flight but we also received a snack and a drink for free. That was nice. I will definitely consider American airline before others when I plan my next trip."

Pros: "Flight was great. Seats were roomy and comfortable. There was a free in flight movie. It was easy to go to the restroom."
Cons: "No space in overhead cabin near my seat. I had to go to the back of the plane to find room for it."

Cons: "Finding checked luggage at philadelphia airport. Inadequate signs and helpful people. It was very hard on my wife who is disabled to walk to the luggage carousel and we didnt see anyone who could help with disabilities."

Pros: "We had a really nice, friendly and fun male flight attendant."

Pros: "Nice modern plane. Even though the flight was delayed, we ended up boarding earlier than expected and arrived pretty close to our original expected arrival time."
Cons: "The crew was nice and everything, but they weren't very good at making announcements on the loudspeaker. You could tell they didn't really know what they were saying or haven't practiced. One lady was trying to make a sales pitch for a new master card and you could tell she was reading and there were long pauses. My sense is that when using the loudspeaker to talk to the entire flight, one should be practiced and know what they're saying and communicate quickly and efficiently. Don't mean to be critical, but it's something that I noticed that could be improved."

Cons: "Our original aircraft was taken out due to a mechanical issue. When we got our replacement aircraft, somehow we were missing a crew member. So after a one-hour delay for a new aircraft, we boarded, then sat at the gate for another hour and a half waiting for an additional flight officer. Missed my connecting flight from Chicago to Dayton and had to be put up in a hotel 30 minutes away from the airport."

Cons: "I didn't like the minimal leg room. Also, there is no way to try and work on a computer anymore because of the lack of room."
