(On my outbound flight from Atlanta to D' dorf an oversized seat neighbor literally flowed partly into my seat, making matters worse.) A major concern: stewardesses support the general fashion of darkening the cabin in the interest of movie watchers and general quiet. What about my right to daylight, especially during a day flight from D' dorf to Atlanta? It's helpful against jetlag. 11 hours in a darkened pipe followed by arrival at night time are unhealthy. The film program is not intetesting enough to justify this decision."

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Within a few hours (and thanks to airline assistance) we were able to locate the suitcase. Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

Cons: "I would never use American Airlines again. Horrible service at the check-in service at Barcelona Airport. I travel around the world for work and each year I fly to more than 12 international locations but never had a horrible experience like this. My carry-on bag is 21” carry-on bag that I traveled in more than 20 countries for the past 3 years but American Airlines staff members at the check insisted that my carry-on bag does not fit the FAA regulations and they threatened me multiple times when I protested their attitudes. I am an avid traveler and I know my rights as a traveler but the American Airlines staff members were extremely rude and insisted that I have to check-in my carry-on bag. The real issue was that regardless of the size of the carry-on bags, they were forcing almost all passengers to heck-in their carry-on bags a clear indication of money-making scheme. When I protested their attitude, they threatened me saying that I pose a security risk and that they would not check me in but I stabbed my grounded insinuated that my bag fits the FAA regulations. I booked this flight from Bristish Airways and this was a code shared flight, I called British Airways in December 22nd and confirmed the measurements of my carry-on bag but when I told American Airlines about the Bristish Airways, they told me “they don’t care, this American Airlines not British Airways”. It was humiliating, it was disrespectful, and it was unacceptable!!!! At the end, I removed one sweater from carry-on and the issue was resolved but after this experience, I will never never fly with American Airlines and never recommend anyone to use American Arilines especially their Barcelona flights and connections."

Cons: "Flight across the US had poor quality meal service, no charging port and no entertainment. Despite paying for an exit seat with more leg room the seat was very narrow and uncomfortable for the long flight."

Cons: "Booked flight with my sister 6 months before departure, paid for both tickets at the same time to find out seat assignment not together.... that could be understable only if ticket is purchased at the last minute, but that was not applicable to our situation..... we could not switch seats during flight"

Pros: "Seats were nice, service came pretty quickly considering the size of the plane, boarding went reasonably quick"
Cons: "Started boarding and didn't announce another delay till we're on the aircraft, sitting in the gate for an hour and a half. My audio jack was broken and regardless, it will still trying to charge me for everything even though i was force to be squashed between two people who are also frustrated about sitting doing nothing."

Cons: "Narrow seats and aisle. Being pressed against someone and bumped in the aisle for two and a half hours is a long time."

Cons: "The flight attendants were pretty mean and just overall dissatisfied. Apparently we had community water to share? Everyone gets water from the same bottle?? Too strange."

Cons: "The boarding process was not so good. It was a busy flight and they needed to put luggage underneath asking for volunteer, then after a certain point it was mandatory. I completely appreciate the need for it to happen, but it turned into caos. People everywhere stood waiting. My suggestion would be to have people who need to check baggage stand off to the side and continue boarding those who are ready to go."

Pros: "The entertainment was free on our flight and that was very nice. Watch a lot of movies iv been wanting to watch. Pilots flew the plane very well."

Cons: "I was supposed to be in stand by and the screen continue showing I could go to the counter and get a seat and I have to wait till the end so that I was going to be given a middle seat. I said forget about it, to pay 75 dlls for a change of ticket and you make me wait till the end to give me seat u want, forget it, I know this is stand by ticket but I dont like the attitude of the people, they dont help you at all really bad service you should learn from other airlines giving at least if you are delayed an apology and sometimes miles reward, not just food... Thanks for the SERVICE (i dont flight with you no more, even though cheap flights, but cheap things are expensive)"

Cons: "The flight attendant continued to serve alcohol to passengers (employees of TomKats catering - they screamed it throughout the flight) that were drunk and belligerent. Her poor judgement, and their complete lack of control, made the flight miserable."

Cons: "Maintenance delay caused me a 4 hour delay getting home on a work night. Going to be a long day tomorrow. Switched connector to United."

Cons: "Food was expensive and not well put together."

Pros: "Seats were pretty good. Food was fine. Drinks were sufficient. Flight was on time, boarding was efficient enough, luggage was fine."
Cons: "Among four us us in one block of center seats, each way one entertainment system was inop. Same was true on a similar A330 flight we took three years ago. Big deal on a long flight. Cabin crew disappears into their curtained enclave as soon as they can. No coach seats are comfortable overnight, and these definitely were not."

Cons: "Plane was very warm upon boarding due to issues with auxiliary cooling but informed it would change as engines turned on . I sat in row 20 and it was very cold during flight. Flight attendant inquired about comfort. It improved for about 10 minutes and returned to cold state . Noticed that one attendant put on some kind of jacket due to coldness . Nearby passengers retrieved blankets from their carry on baggage. Glad I had at least a light jacket to throw over me and that my legs were partially covered. Guess it's better to be too cool than too hot. Otherwise. It was s great flight ."

Cons: "3 hour delay...and no voucher for the delay"

Cons: "We are a very tall crew and the seats were a bit tight."

Cons: "Connecting flight between LAX-PHX and PHX-STL cut it pretty close. I had to run across the airport at PHX which is a little hard considering how big the airport is."

Cons: "I didn't like the American airline people who checked my bag. She threw it because I told her nothing was breakable in it."
