Cons: "Seats were atrociously uncomfortable for a 6'1" man. Less than zero leg room due to ridiculously tight row spacing and non-reclining seatbacks. Had to attempt to cram in sideways - resulting in serious pain by the time the flight finally landed. Intercom system, especially from the captain, was painfully grating and loud. Boarding was extremely slow, in part because gate personnel made no effort whatsoever to police and enforce the four-group boarding process (premium - no carry-on - group A - group B). People boarded whenever they felt like it, many carrying on huge backpacks and multiple other pieces. Will definitely avoid TAP in future."

Cons: "They charged me $90 for my luggage. Several weeks or perhaps even months after I booked, I received an e-mail saying I had booked Super Cheap Economy or some such. It had a link to pay for 'additional services' but not luggage. At the time of booking, I checked and the price given was $35. So, I have protested the additional $55 with my CC company and will see what happens. BTW the luggage was not overweight. They turned off all the lights, including my personal reading lamp, so I could not read and had to just sit there doing nothing. That really blew big chunks. I only got two small glasses of wine."

Cons: "The airplane was small for a 8-9 hours trip, the seat were super small, I'm not a big person and I was very uncomfortable in them, the crew wasn't very nice, the food was a mess the girl next to me was a vegan and they give her a cheese sandwich, entertainment didn't work well there were only 4 channels, comparing to AirEuropa very mediocre and awfull airplane, really I'm from Venezuela and even there the airplanes are better, not worthy the 600$ one way ticket I got."

Cons: "We were in first class, and no On Demand IFE!!! You do have a personal screen in the seatback, but they only play continual loop movies. For us, we started with one movie, but then due to technical difficulties, the crew had to reboot the entire system. So once it was back up and running, they switched the movie. And even that one didn't play through....apparently, at some point they determine its "bedtime" and turn off the IFE!! Crazy in this day and age!!! Also, the plane is old and REALLY worn. Lots of dirt, tired seats, yucky bathrooms, etc. This plane needs an overhaul!! No storage anywhere in the seats either, which was shocking. And the angle lay flat seats are certainly fantastic in comparison to Coach seats, but still hard to sleep and get comfortable."

Pros: "After our first flight had been cancelled, we needed to be comforted by Brussels Airlines that our return flight would be OK. And we were. Though there were slight delays due to technical checks at boarding time, everything else was on schedule and we even landed slightly ahead of time, never a bad thing. The flight was smooth and quite pleasurable. Now we are prepared to experience flying with Brussels Airlines again."

Had a long a confusing conversation with a woman who did not seem to understand what an exit row seat was. I booked seats, but my card was never charged and I received no email confirmation. I tried the website again and this time saw the seat map. Completely misleading. The real exit row is the row IN FRONT of the marked exits on the map. I chose the row which looked like an exit row, and on boarding found that I was in the row behind the exit row. The flight attendant took a photo of my seat map print out, because it was so confusing!!! No wonder the woman I spoke to sounded like she didn't know what she was talking about - she was following the seat map too!"

Pros: "On our longer flight, we were thrilled- nice crew, delicious food, spacious, great pilot, and enjoyable entertainment experience. However, on our shorter flight from Brussels to telaviv, not only was the crew completely inattentive, but they were intentive to some very disturbing things including children who were pulling the hair of other customers and jumping up-and-down in the aisles of the airplane. There was no available entertainment whatsoever. In addition the food was extremely expensive and not particularly tasty. The plane was uncomfortable and smelled atrocious. These 2 vastly different experiences almost made me feel like I was taking 2 different airlines. Please keep consistency."
Cons: "I didn't like the inconsistency of the 2 different planes that I was on. If you are going to have entertainment you should have some form of it on all of your airplanes. The idea that food that you need to buy is so expensive is absurd. I was really blown away by how badly the plane smelled. It was almost as if I was in a bathroom. And on top of that I really felt very unsafe with children jumping up-and-down kicking people pulling their hair etc. While it isn't the job of the flight attendants to be parents, they certainly need to be aware of safety concerns for the rest of the passengers."

Cons: "There was a long-ish and poorly organised layover in Luanda, which involved the flight crew individually identifying the carry-on luggage on the plane so as to ensure no one who had disembarked had left anything behind. This was literally done bin by bin by a crew member shouting down the aisle, "Who's is this brown bag? Who has a grey Longchamp!!!???" This is not something I have ever seen before and it took ages. The cabin also became very hot during the layover, which cause a 40 minute delayed arrival in Kinshasa."

Cons: "Neither the JFK counter agents nor the flight attendants knew if I could transition in Brussels onto Bulgaria Air without exiting and re-entering. In fact, it is a simple process in the Brussels Airport transition zone, with the friendly help of Bulgaria Air agents. Breakfast is a box of sugar: shrink wrapped muffin, Toblerone bar, orange juice. These are all sugar delivery systems."

Cons: "i went to the (galley?) at the back and politely requested a drink, a member of staff refused me because they were just about to begin serving drinks. that's stupid. i was sat right at the back of the plane and wouldn't get a drink for at least 20 minutes because service starts in the middle and works back. fortunately another member of staff (older, female) just reached over and handed me a drink, because she understood it was easier and quicker and more reasonable to do that than to be a dick about it."
Cons: "the cabin crew refused to serve any drinks until they served food and they were only serving front to rear, rather than front & rear to middle. as i was sat right at the rear of the plane it meant i didn't get anything to drink for 30-40 minutes. i thought delta were poor on that front but these guys were ridiculous. as for the food: i don't expect much from airlines but i don't consider cake & toblerone to make a breakfast, even if it was served with orange juice."

Cons: "Aircraft need to stay grounded for 2 hours for repairs... After we already boarded! It was very hot, everyone was sweating profusely and facing themselves with magazines. The flight should have just been delayed and everyone should have waited in the comfort of the airport terminal to board later rather than suffering. The headrests are horrible. They jut out and but stress on you upper back, and force you to slouch, which hurts your lower back. I am a pretty resilient young dude, but even I was packing my sweatshirt, pillow, and blanket behind my back to make the seat mildly comfortable. A car style seat would have been much much more comfortable. Worst of all, I had a 12 hour layover, and during that time MY BAG DIDN'T EVEN GET PUT ON THE PLANE! I am on a budget so I couldn't buy toiletries and clothes to wear so I stank for days before my bags were located, brought from Toronto to Brussels, and then delivered to where I'm staying in Belgium. This is easily the worst flying experience I have ever had in my life."

Cons: "We weren't allowed access to fill empty water bottles before boarding the plan. The plane made a stop at Kigali, Rwanda, where it was cleaned, resupplied and picked up passengers. It was almost 4 hrs. before we were offered water to drink. Drinking water is vital for maintaining health while travelling."
Pros: "Due to my husbands frequent flyer status, we were able to upgrade coach seats to premium free of charge - which afforded priority boarding and more comfortable seats - although, there was not much difference in legroom or general space. This flight was not full, so I had an empty seat next to me - always a good thing on a long flight. Lots of movies and entertainment available to fill up the hours. Served food and drinks constantly (3 meals plus, if I remember correctly) but the food was pretty bad. One of the bathrooms was a generous size, which made it more comfortable."

Stewardess on this flight that served my section was rather grumpy and unhelpful. Seat in front of me was broken so it leaned way back into my lap, making it difficult to eat or read on my e-reader. I had a premium seat, but there did not seem to be any difference in leg room or the size of the seat than normal coach. Although there was several meals - the food was horrible. Best to take your own aboard. We were delayed getting off the ground, having to sit on the plane for a while before take off. We landed over an hour late."
Cons: "Brussels air used united Airlines for this leg of the trip. They canceled all the flights to my destination due to weather. However other airlines did make it there just fine. I think that they canceled the flight just because it was not full. I had to spend the night in the airport. The flight in the morning was overbooked. No one should fly UA if they can avoid them."
