Cons: "7:50 am flight, arrived EZE 5 am as instructed, boarded plane at 10:40 am, missed connecting flight and spent 14 hours in Lima, shuttled off to a hotel 1-1/2 away, for a 2am flight. Arrived next day in LA and missed shuttle. Both legs very poor service on and off airplane, added security for having to enter Peru complicated and delayed things further. LAN used to be the best to SA, LATAM is the worst, never again."

Pros: "the entertainment console's on the seat backs are modern and have a lot of content."
Cons: "LATAM made me pour out all the water at the gate that I purchased on the concourse after security. they also made me throw away my food. I am very displeased that I had to throw out $15+ dollars of food and drink and that I had zero water when getting on an 11 hour flight. that's outrageous."

Cons: "It was on time, not like other LATAM flights within the country!! Comfortable reclining seats, good entertainment and meals"

Cons: "Food too sweet (waffles and yogurt ) diaper changer is too small and tight like for new borns only"

Pros: "The crew worked non stop, with smiles and courtesy. The landing was great."
Cons: "The seats are small and too close together. I sat behind a woman who reclined her seat into my face the entire flight. I could not put my tray down to eat. Very uncomfortable."

Pros: "Better leg room than previous flight Food and drinks were very good"
Cons: "We and everyone else froze on the flight. Even with full jackets and the blanket, we froze. The last 2 flights on LAN, the sound/headphone system barely worked. You could barely hear any of the movies, and the music channels didn't work at all"

Cons: "Boarding was very disorganized and not on time. My seat assignment was changed upon boarding the plane. They had assigned 3 people to my seat which was an isle seat I had chosen upon purchasing my ticket 5 months prior. I was changed to a middle seat. They had an extra (makeshift) security check point on the actual boarding ramp. They made everyone open their carry-on bags and suitcases on folding tables just before entering the plane. They also took beverages bought at the gift shops, right before getting on the plane which was unusual. Overall ground crew was not very customer service oriented. In flight crew was better."

Pros: "the seat is roomer than United airline and American Airline. the crew is much younger than other airplane company. the food and service are good too."

Cons: "Flight has been delayed for over 12 hrs. I still haven't left LIM :("

Pros: "Large amounts of movies to choose from."
Cons: "NO LEG ROOM! The worst!"

Cons: "I showed up to my flight from Lima and was told by Latam that my flight wasn't in their system. Due to the late hour and lack of customer service agents by the time I was able to get to the front of the line (phone calls didn't go through to anyone) the time had passed for me to even check in. According to Latam, Virgin changed my flight and forgot to rebook my return home. I ended up sleeping at the Lima airport, paying out of pocket almost $2000 and having to fly through Miami. No one took responsibility for the fact my ticket was changed and I wasn't informed - unacceptable."

Cons: "There is no VIP lounge in Lima anymore. It is unbelievable that Latam, maybe the biggest operator in that hub, doesn't have a lounge. The layover stunk!"

Pros: "Crew was very nice, attentive, helpful,friendly. Food was good not great. Business seats lay flat."
Cons: "Business seats, when laying flat, were not particularly comfortable. Rather hard. The only complaint."

Cons: "KAYAK sent me this email as i sit in a hotel provided by the airline in Lima. I will submit a complaint with KAYAK, for I believe I deserve compensation, especially when this email is sent to me impersonally before a solution to the problem has even been carried out."

Pros: "The plane was comfortable."
Cons: "The crew boarding the passengers did not seem to know what they were doing. I waited in line for over 30 minutes, which at 1 am in the morning was tough. I had my boarding pass reviewed by 3 different attendants. They did a cursory inspection of my backpack by opening 2 of the 15 pockets."

Cons: "Coming from the cuisine of Peru, I expected the food in coach to at least not taste like rubber and have some variety. A ham and cheese pastry for dinner didn't quite cut it. At least they offer free wine and beer."

Cons: "Everything. We never made it to the last flight because they cancelled our flight home, stranding us (myself, husband and 2 small children) in Ecuador. I have traveled extensively for almost 20 years and have NEVER dealt with such a terrible company with such shady employees. It was unbelievable and we aren't the only ones. Just take a peek at their social media accounts. They don't allow reviews anymore but there is a community of people who have been stranded in South America by LATAM and the link is easily found. They seem to have a ploy to try and get people to buy extra tickets. Seriously a scam. Stay away!"

Cons: "The plane was older and a little rickety. The gate was unknown until very close to the flight."

Pros: "Glad to have the pillow and blanket. Plane was clean and new. Really appreciate the luggage bins now allow standing up in the middle seat."

Cons: "Latam could not link with American Airlines. It was like I had two separate tickets even though they had a code share with AA. I couldn't get a boarding pass across airlines and my seat assignments were a real problem."

Cons: "When buying a flight price and the airline on which I fly are the two most important factors.... LAN transferred my flight to AVIANCA and the food was terrible and the flight attendants weren't very friendly in general. The experience was not very enjoyable"

Cons: "Even though it was the same exact plane at the same exact flight. All passengers had to get out, go through a security check point, then wait in line to board again. And at boarding all carry-ons were searched by hand, proving that the security check point is useless."

Cons: "After pass security, before we were about to boarding, everyone was all waiting for their turn there were many security stuffs showed up and let entire people open their bags before get on the plane. It end up delayed flight too."

Cons: "We would watch other people on the plane across the aisle or in front of us get food options but when it was our turn to be served the flight attendants just handed us whatever was closest without asking our preference. If something is unavailable just say so."

Cons: "My entertainment center didn't have audio for one of the movies so I had to use closed caption to read what the characters were saying. I had some issues trying to get the movie to play because the screen froze for a moment."

Cons: "Crew was not friendly. Food was not good. They made me throw out the soda I bought inside the airport AT THE GATE then didn't give enough to drink on board the plane."

Pros: "Um the inflight entertainment is good. The touch screen is great."
Cons: "Um not enough arm room for economy class. When you're in an 8 hour flight, comfort needs to be a priority. It's not fair to pack a bunch of people in like sardines after paying $800. The service was fine. Some crew members are nice than the others."

Pros: "The best business class seating we've encountered ... tons of leg room, side by side seating arrangements. I peeped into economy and that's not too bad neither. The seats were 3 sets of 3 seats per row. Most other planes would have at least 10 seats across."
Cons: "All passengers had to open their bags to be searched by hand ... didn't we got screened already by the airport? So it took forever to board the plane"
