Cons: "Due to AA delaying my flight I missed my connection; I'm a AA frequent flyer and I could say that have missed my connections about 50% of the time during my trips with the company during the last year. We were stuck next to the jet bridge for about 20 minutes because there was no one to operate it; as a result, I arrived late to get on my next flight. They close the flight even though there were about six passengers having connection delays because of American, the company refused to let us in the airplane even though the flight was in the ramp for about one more hour for unknown reasons."

Pros: "I did not use the food and entertainment. You should offer a not applicable option. The service and crew were great. And I appreciated the new comfortable plane with modern conveniences such as charging ports and an entertainment system. I was randomly assigned an economy plus seat and it was wonderful. All the economy seats should be like it."

Cons: "The adult movie selection was not interesting. I ended up watching a children's Disney movie that proved to be more entertaining. What caused my discomfort during the flight was not due to British Airways or American Airlines, but rather was a problem at the Frankfurt terminal. I could not take a bottle of water thru the security check and there was no water fountain after the security check. I have a lot of food sensitivities and cannot drink bottled water. It was only at the end of the flight when I was desperate for water that I discovered I could get some tap water from a flight attendant."

Pros: "Absolutely no part of the flight was comfortable or enjoyable."
Cons: "The plane itself was clearly an older model, lacking many amenities I’ve come to expect flying coach. The overhead compartments were too small for larger carryon luggage, and no one on the crew alerted passengers to this. Thus, many passengers had to go against the traffic of those still boarding to find space for luggage. My seat was at the back of the plane so I had to spend close to 15 extra minutes walking back to the front against boarding passengers to find a place to put my luggage. A simple warning from the crew when I boarded would have prevented mine and many others unnecessary trouble simply boarding. During a very turbulent flight, the captain nor the crew made any announcements about turbulence, our safety, or our progress. Also during the flight, one of the flight attendants got into an awkward verbal spat with one of the passengers. Completely unprofessional and bothersome. Additionally, I had fallen asleep when dinner was being first served, but woke up before it was finished. A flight attendant approached me and asked if I’d like a dinner to which I replied “Yes”. The flight attendant never returned with a dinner for me, thus I did not eat the dinner, which I had paid for. Lastly, and perhaps most disturbing, was what transpired when a passenger had a medical emergency. With no warning, all of the airplane lights turned on and a loud “CODE RED” was announced over the sound system. Imagine being a sleeping passenger like myself, during a very turbulent flight, to be suddenly awoken to bright lights and a CODE RED shouted loudly over the PA. I’m not overexaggerating when I say that I was preparing for the worst. A truly terrifying moment that I am certain was shared with many others on board. To make matters even worse, as a flight attendant rushed to find a first aid kit (which she had trouble finding) she opened up the compartment over my partners seat and dropped a passengers ipad on her head. The flight attendant did return to apologize, but it was little consolation compared to the stress and panic the crew created. I have flown many times, and this was easily the worst flight of my life. American Airlines should be ashamed of the conditions they put their passengers in and they have lost two customers for good."

Cons: "Plane left FRA 25 min late and occured more delay during flight. Came into DFW with 50 min delay and had to go through TSA again for connecting flight - why? So missed the connecting flight to LAX and had to get rebooked."

Cons: "The flight was late due to maintenance and caused us to miss our connecting flight to Chicago. American Airlines customer assistance at the airport was absolutely terrible. They were rude and inconsiderate as they kept suggesting to fly standby. We shouldn't have to fly standby when it wasn't our fault why were late. They told us our bags would be ok going to Chicago and they we would make the flight, but we did not. I do not know why didn't wait for us considering there were 8 others that also missed the connecting flight. We had to fly to Denver and stay overnight with no luggage and catch a 7:00am flight to Chicago. The last surprise I received was my damaged bag when I got back to Chicago. Thank you for making this trip memorable in a terrible way. I will never book or recommend Kayak or use American Airlines again."

Cons: "Tv was out the entire international flight. When I asked the flight attendant for help he said that "wasn't his job" and walked away. When I asked another attendant for help she said there wasnt anything she could do and that their "tv's suck". Rude crew, uncomfortable, cheap."

Pros: "How nice the crew were through it all was great! Flight to D.C. was smolth too."
Cons: "Because of the fire in the Tower, all flights in the DMV area were cancelled that evening. I was unable to go to work the following day having to request off sick."

Cons: "We bought 3 seats on Business class. My seat did not have the TV working. After flying for 2 hours the flight attendant gave me a portable TV, after asking multiple times. The food was totally horrible. The catering company that American Airlines uses needs to be replaced immediately. Flying TAP, Emirates, Latam, British Airlines , their catering company is very good. Flight attendants were sarcastic and rude. The service was equivalent if you fly coach class."

Cons: "My grandparents were supposed to have escorts and assistants with their baggage, as they don't speak English and are elderly. In addition, one of their suitcases was lost and the other was rifled through. The overall service was very discouraging."

Cons: "The flight time said an hour, yet our arrival time was 6 hours. Then we proceeded to sit on the runway for 20 minutes before take off and now at 45 minutes after we landed. Someone should have planned gates and deplaning schedules better, it's an awful experience sitting and doing nothing when you're so close to being home. The other thing that was bothersome was on this 6 hour flight, my entertainment screen didn't work. Which not only meant I would need to entertain myself for the next 6 hours, but also there wasn't a way to get the flight attendants attention. When they came around with drinks, I asked two of them how to fix the screen and they gave me two different answers which neither worked. Then when I needed anything I would have to make my neighbors move and go walk to find someone. Overall not my favorite flying experience and didn't feel taken care of by the crew or AA. And to think I spent extra money to fly with AA..."

The flight attendants seemed lacking in knowledge, friendliness, consideration, or empathy."

Cons: "The Indianapolis to JFK trip was the first of three legs. My bags were only checked to JFK. I have a badly broken ankle and needed a wheel chair. I could not manage my luggage and crutches. It forced me to take a taxi to the international terminal, then ask strangers for help with my luggage once I got there. I am extraordinarily displeased!!!! I will not fly American again."
