Pros: "The seats in Economy are larger than normal airlines and had extra leg room. My partner is 6ft2in and he sat comfortable, even when the people in front reclined. The staff was so polite and helpful. I will definitely fly JAL again!"

Cons: "We were informed our flight was not to land in Haneda but at Narita. We specifically picked that flight pattern because of the ease of traveling from Hawaii to Haneda to Naha. We wouldn't have to drag two large suitcases and a rollaboard after checking out of customs and immigration very far. Same airport to land and depart. Well the arrival airport was changed to Narita $32.00 per person for Airport Limobus to Haneda. We get off at Haneda and are informed we cannot stay there and wait at the domestic airport for our 6:25 am flight to Naha. We had to load all 6 pieces of luggage on the shuttle bus and transfer to the international terminal because they close the domestic terminal at midnight. There was no hotel accommodations at the domestic airport as the hotel was booked two months in advance!!! We had to wait at the international airport terminal till 4:30 am when we then transferred back to the domestic terminal with our 6 pieces of luggage. Tell me how happy you'd be!!!"

Cons: "The DC China Embassy web site clearly states that a valid APEC Business Card can be used in lieu of a Chinese visa. In spite of this I was denied boarding by JAL. It turns out the system is not fully in place, and eventually I was issued a 10 year multiple entry visa by way of apology. JAL did not waive cancellation fee, and I suffered considerable economic damages."

My suggestion is that instructions in Vietnamese should be made more often to avoid chaos particularly when deplane."

They didn't need me but i thought they should have at least enquired as to where the parent was of 2 11 yr olds. They were also curt trying to rush us off the flight as my daughter was trying to locate a lost item as we arrived. She has limited sight and we need time to get off and to find things.... given she has lost an iPad, and very expensive reading glasses and other things on the trips that span 24 - 36 hrs."

Cons: "Two key issues: 1. Split up seating 2. Required to pick up and check baggage with limited time due to customs check. 1. They split up all four of our seats (despite booking more than 30 days in advance). Our seven (7) year old daughter was by her self. So was our fifteen (15) year old son. When we addressed it to baggage check (part of major issue number 2), they put two seats together, across an aisle, with both children in them. We obviously just sat one of the adults with the seven year old. This was not just us. SEVERAL families had children seated alone and spread all over the plane. ANA needs to require grouped seating for children under thirteen (13) years old with an adult. 2. Tokyo Haneda is the only airport I can think of where I have to pick up and check baggage again just to clear customs. The flights were 1 hour and 45 minutes apart. With nearly an hour dedicated to getting baggage claimed and getting through customs, we barely had time to fix two of our split seats (see issue 1) and rush via a free bus route that took 6 minutes (luckily we were first stop) to get us to domestic terminal 2. We were then lucky again because we made it through security quickly and our gate happened to be right next to the security check we chose. Another side piece: Haneda Domestic Terminal 2 has four security check areas (A-D). We saw no identifying marks indicating which were closest to which gate. Our bags have already been through a bag check process. Feel free to run them through security scans. Don’t make us wait to collect them just to walk them through the customs desk and check them again."

Pros: "Lufthansa are excellent. Makes the US carriers look awful in comparison. Good seats, great service, on time, zero complaints."

Pros: "We were traveling from IAH gto FRA with two dogs. One in a crate and one in a small carry on dog bag. Lufthansa handled the process very well. They expected us at the airport, helped us through the entire checkin with a smile, helpful information and care. They brought us and our dog to TSA and after boarding confirmed that our dog had been loaded and safely taken care of. The cabin crew also checked on us and our in cabin dog. I don't know any other airline that makes traveling with a dog so easy and pleasant."

Pros: "I like everything about this airline. The entire crew is always happy to serve and extremely helpful. The food is very good and served hot. When our flight was delayed and it was questionable whether we'd make our Lufthansa connection, there was a small bus with 2 Lufthansa crew members waiting for us on the ground - they escorted us through Customs and directly to the door of the airplane so that we'd make the flight. Service I have never gotten on an American airline!"

Cons: "We were not offered veg and non veg options. We were only offered a vegetarian meal. A minute later, the gentleman behind us was presented the two options. We disregarded this on the first flight, but when it happened on the next flight similarly, we asked if we could get our children the chicken meal. The air hostess explained they had no more. But she presented the two options to the fellow passenger behind us. We were extremely offended by the way we were treated. The airlines offers no entertainment for children as do other airlines. In fact, one air hostess went so far as to ask me to tell my Lil one to MUTE the volume of his ipad."

Cons: "Unprofessional behavior of the checkin counter agent at IAH was disappointing. The registration of food choice online didn’t get through hence had to deal with pasta Airbus 380 seats selected by us on the upper deck seemed to lack cushion and hence very uncomfortable"

Pros: "Excellent crew-seats were decent-not as good as Emirates., but doable. Seats from Frankfurt to Bengaluru in India were smaller than US domestic airlines-a feat thought unachieveable!!"
Cons: "Food was terrible-choice for dinner was Salmon or pasta with tomato sauce! Obviously picked the salmon which was sitting on a bed of soggy rice and a dinner roll that was so cold, I could cool my drink with! It was also hard enough to use for self-defense. The entertainment system was so bad, the kid behind me was punching the screen!! It took me 5 minutes to wait for the screen to respond and it was not much larger than my phone. Again, miss Emirates-this will be my last flight on Lufthansa!!!"

Pros: "They did it again, lost my bag for the emth time. But this time its seems to be more complicated than previous times this has happened. Just hope i’ll get my bag back eventually."

Pros: "The food was good and they provided a good amount of snacks and drinks as well. My movie screen would not play with sound and they found me a different seat."
Cons: "The layover time was terrible. Only 1 hour in Frankfurt. I barely made my next flight and that's only because I ran since the boarding time is about 30 minutes before the flight leaves. Their "minimum layover time" needs to be lengthened. I'd like to know if any of the people who make that decision have ever tried to make a flight with such a short layover."

Pros: "Flights themselves were ok with friendly crew."
Cons: "Only two passport gates for non EU passengers at Frankfurt. Four employees at EU gates sat there and laughed at the angry crowd. Lufthansa should have anticipated this mass of people and had appropriate passport checkers there from that company. "Not our fault" does not cut it. Two planes 600 people each landed at same time. I'd guess a quarter missed connection. The process of rescheduling was a comedy of lies and inefficiency and lack of concern. Worst air travel experience ever. Ruined first two days of my vacation. Oh yea forgot the worst. No air conditioner running on runway at Houston at three in afternoon. Passengers visibly sweating before a nine out overseas flight. Blamed it on a mistake."

Cons: "First of all, the boarding took an hour longer than it should have been so we all sat in the plane dripping with sweat, because it was 100 degrees in Houston and the plane didn't have A/C on until we took off. Food was not good, some mysterious meat they called beef stew and veggies with strange texture. We ended up drinking more since the food was bad. The entertainment choices were OK but the equipment was a bit ancient, my husband's screen ( we sat in the front where screen pulled out of the seat) was broken and was held by a duct tape(???!!!) The seats are small, I have flown with other companies on transatlantic flights and their seats are bigger and more comfortable in economy class."

Pros: "The seats are normal, the food was fine, but the service was lovely, smooth and always with a smile. We left arrived in Frankfurt almost on time and I would definitely fly Lufthansa again!"

Pros: "Flight crew was decent."
Cons: "The flight was late in departing and then rerouted from Frankfurt to Manchester causing many passengers to loose connection. The reasongiven was a crew scheduling issue. Compensation upon arrival at Frankfurt was nil unless you asked and if you did you got an insulting 7 euros which barely even paid for coffee. No apology to people given just a "business as usual, it is your problem attitude". At arrival in Frankfurt there was a pass the buck attitude where any questions of connecting flights, and reroutes was forwarded to a Lufthansa counter that was NOT manned by anyone. Very frustrated."

Pros: "Extremely roomy seats! So glad to have the room after a cramped flight from Europe!"

Pros: "Comfort, yummy food, exceptional customer service, but the best part had to be the amazing service when checking in at IAH.....the lady who checked us in delivered the best customer service I have ever received by an airline....I would love if she received some appreciation....she was super professional, courteous, friendly to my daughter, explained everything and made sure I understood, and then said "I'll see you upstairs Mrs. Manderfeld to help you further....at the gate" WOW! If only all airline check was like this!"

Not only did I feel uncomfortable I felt unsafe. When I asked if I could upgrade to premium economy or even business it was a straight no without even looking in the system to see if their were open seats. The girl in front of me ate with her seat reclined which allowed me a whole inch of space to bring my food to my mouth. Terrible airline and terrible experience. If I could cuss in this review I would."

Pros: "Overall, Aeromexico staff in the airport were kind and friendly. Flight crew members were friendly, attentive and presentable. I appreciate the fact that Aeromexico still provides food and refreshments."
Cons: "Flight was delayed by approximately 30 to 40 minutes. However, I appreciate that staff kept us informed and updated on flight status. Since I hadn't reserved a seat, I got seated near the emergency exit. On a positive note, it's more spacious hence more leg room. However, you're not allowed to keep any items with you in case of an emergency during take off and landing. It seems that there was some type of entertainment on the TV screens but noticed they were on for less than 40 minutes and then they went blank for the remainder of the flight . I'm not sure if other passengers were offered headphones but I was not."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed from 1am to 9am, then again from 9am to 11.30am. Finally got to Mexico City 12 hrs after we were supposed to. No compensation or apology was provided. Only way we found out about new flight times was through email. Airport did not make announcements."

Cons: "They didn’t do procedures letting us know to look at the board to see the flights and the gate we were going to come out at. The gate was changed last minute we didn’t hear no announcements this was our first time flight out from Mexico to Tijuana and because we were not well informed we missed our flight, aroeMexico Employees were really rude when asked to see if we could get out flight replaced. Didn’t help at all. We ended having to buy 2 new tickets. Awful will not recommend this flight to anyone."

Anyone heavier than me would not be able to buckle up on that seat. It was also VERY cold. The people around me were all covered up in heavy jackets and hats. When I mentioned this to the crew,they treated me with disdain and she said they could do nothing. What a shame, this used to be a great airline."

Pros: "Aeromexico puts delta, United, American to shame. Every time I fly with Aeromexico they have on-time flights, food and drinks included, friendly service and excellent price for tickets. No last second delays or flight rescheduling as happens with US carriers. I'll take Aeromexico ANY day over the shitty US airlines. And for those complaining about info not being readily available in English, it doesn't hurt to learn a little Spanish"

When we got to Mexicothey sails our liggage was not there because we were in the wrong terminal. No one spoke English but it was there because we were on Delta. When we left almost went to wrong terminal. If it is Deltal call it delta not Aeromexico."
