Ran from gate F to gate c24 arrived at 10:23 p.m. Slight to the park at 10:25 p.m. and they closed the door on me as I was running up there. Ran across the entire terminal to get there and they would not let me on. Last Flight of the night to Bismarck. Missed my uncle's 90th birthday party. Would not give me food voucher. Delta gate agent told me she would lose her job if she did not close the doors 8 minutes prior. However the Minneapolis flight waited for 15 minutes for people to board that plane. How does that compute? Why would they not wait 3 minutes for me rather than pay the money to put me up in a hotel?"

Pros: "There was a blanket and pillow available on the seat and the arm rests (all of them) went up... I appreciated that when I had to move mid flight. The attendants were nice as always... they weren't stingy with the small free snack that is included with the flight. (Small bag of peanuts or pretzels) that I liked. Usually feel like it is an inconvenience to ask for more than one.... but they offered 2! I was very happy to hear that!!"

Cons: "Long Delays, Over Booked Flights, Customer Service is not helpful, Wrong info delivered by Customer Service, No boarding gate info, Luggage was damaged, and I was charged a large premium with no added value. Delta sold me a 1st class flight because of their delays and overbooking their flights. This was because they could not fulfill the ticket I had. This was Delta's solution to their problem caused by them. I still have no idea why the flights were delayed. On top of all this, I overheard a walk-on pilot ask if there was room for him to catch a lift home. The flight attendant responded with "absolutely this flight is not full at all, you can sit right here". Wait I had to pay 200 bucks extra for an overbooked flight and you are having your Delta representatives say different. This was my first and last trip with Delta. I spent 1000 dollars for round trip ticket from Seattle to Spokane WA. No way is that OK or acceptable under any circumstances to treat your customers like this. The best part about all of this is, I have sent feedback and called customer service to talk to a manager to hear the blame put on back on me. Perception is reality Delta. Awful service, awful prices, awful care, awful communication, and awful value for the money."

My understanding was this flight was a mess the previous week as well which says that something needs to be fixed. The temperature on the flight fluctuated back and forth from too hot to okay. Cons: "On my first flight from SLC to ORD I asked 3 different American Airlines employees if I needed to pay for my carryon before I got on the plane. They all said no. I got on the plane, put my carryon under the seat in front of me and everything was great. I landed in Chicago, got to my gate, went to board and this very rude employee stopped me after I scanned my ticket and told me I couldn’t board with my bag. The EXACT bag I had boarded with in SLC. After harshly grabbing my bag and putting it in the carryon basket to check for size, she wouldn’t let me pass by her into the boarding bridge and told me I was going to have to pay. I tried explaining that I had asked I’m SLC if I needed to check it and they had all said no and that it fit under my seat. She said, “I don’t care what they said in SL, this is what I’m saying here.” And directed me to the front desk where I had to pay $50!! $50 for a carryon backpack that fit under my seat comfortably 20 minutes before!! Without saying a word (cause I didn’t want to yell at the poor girl behind the desk) I paid the $50 and proceeded to enter the bridge but before I passed through, the rude woman said, “have a nice flight ma’am” and scoffed!! An audible scoff. So I’m short, I hate American Airlines and I will do my BEST to not have to fly with them in the future."

Cons: "The one carry-on policy was silly and included personal items. I was told to repack my purse into my backpack which was already full. The boarding staff stood over me and told me to throw stuff away in my backpack and asked why I had packed certain things. I am in the process of moving back to the US from Korea after two years so everything I had was everything I owned in the world - which included some sentimental things like a stuffed animal from my mother who passed away when I was three years old. The most infuriating part of this however was realizing that there was one other bag in my overhead bin. In fact most of the overhead bins had one to two bags and plenty of room. My repacking and humiliation was unnecessary and it was only for the morbid satisfaction of the lady at boarding demanding it. At one point I heard her talking with her coworkers about “why couldn’t they freaking listen. We announced it three times.” Well I had approached the counter prior to arrival and they told me to get back in line when I tried to ask about my purse and backpack. In additional to the frustration of all of that, I received my checked in luggage with a wheel missing. I had just bought it and now I have to ship a wheel from the vendor in South Korea or buy new luggage. Thank you guys so much for letting me know which airline to never fly with again."

Cons: "We ended up being deleyed about 30 minutes, in damp weather. It's not like it was snowing. Not sure why it took so long. B/c of baggage charges now everyone brings a carry on. This seems to slow the process of boarding as know passengers are asked multiple times to check baggage (for free, which is the one nice thing) before boarding b/c the overheads will be too full. Group 6 which I was in seemed like it was just the rest of the plane. Super busy, took me forever to get to my seat all the way in the back. Why don't airlines reverse board? People sitting in the back should board first. I feel like this would save so much time."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 3 hours due to the incoming aircraft, but nobody at the gate or onboard offered any explanation or even acknowledged the delay. The aircraft did not handle turbulence well at all... one of roughest flights in recent memory despite avoiding weather. Wifi had weak signal (on a 70-person jet!) and the streaming entertainment did not work the entire time... it either did not load or I got an error message."

Pros: "The gentlemen from the wheelchair service who was there to pick us up when we arrived in Heathrow went above and beyond his duties. Instead of passing us over to another wheelchair attendant as we needed to switch terminals, he stayed with us thru the terminal change until we were on the airplane. We needed to get our boarding passes at Heathrow from a different airline and he helped us with this. Kudos to him!! The attendants on this flight were very helpful when my husband was having a diabetic reaction and I was vomiting form air motion sickness. We were a mess!! However the flight attendants were sure we had a wheelchair in Chicago and helped us with our bags as we were exiting the plane. Nice Job"

I WILL TRY NOT TO FLY IN AA AGAIN."
