The type used on the 777 is the dual pronged one. I did not have an adapter so had to use the crappy headphones that are provided."

He told us that our flight had already left but he would get us on the next one. We ended up getting seats on the next flight but then were also given the option to get a temporary visa and explore Doha for the night. We opted for the comped night which included a very nice hotel and $100 in meal vouchers. We absolutely LOVED Doha and the hotel and food was fantastic! I don't think I have ever received better service from an airline or a hotel. We ended up walking around Souq Waquif and the downtown until 1am (we are two young females!) with no issue and just used Uber to get to and from the hotel. Everything was so well laid out for us! No complaints whatsoever!"

I think it would be great if Istanbul airways cooperated with the Yotel so transit passengers could stay in the airport. They helped me to get a visa and they say it will be reimbursed, but all of those things took time when I was so exhausted after a long flight. Overall, it was wonderful to have that opportunity to rest and shower on a long wait, but it would be even better if it was closer and it was clear ahead of time that a visa would be needed."

I had paid for the suitcases, but because I was traveling alone I went there with my husband and he politely asked if they could please take the carryons on the plane because she can’t carry everything by herself. The manager came out and said that we have to pay. I said I already paid extra for my suitcases please help us because my wife is carrying our son, the diaper bag and 2 carryons. He was rude stating that we have to pay each carryon. We didn’t have the extra money and my wife took everything with her. If that’s how Turkish Airline treats their customers, they shouldn’t be operating. It was the last time I use this airline. No dignity or humanity, it’s all only about the money. And when I took the stroller with my son. They made me package the stroller by myself looking that I had my son on me crying and when I asked for help they said that they can’t help me... unbelievable... they see me with 2 carryons a stroller and a baby and they can’t help me."

This has been going on for over 5 days with no contect, update or resolution. Once back in the US, I plane to file a formal complaint with FAA and more. DO NOT take this airline. They are worst airline I have ever used and will never use it again."

He asked them whether they wanted pretzels or peanuts, but they misheard him and asked for a ginger ale. I happened to know that he did have ginger ale, since my wife had just gotten one, but rather than just pouring the old folks a drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" They misheard again and asked him whether he had a diet ginger ale. Again, rather than just pour them the drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" This went round and round a few more times -- like a poorly designed computer UI that refuses to accept anything except the correct input -- before the old couple finally figured out the disconnect and picked their snacks before their drinks. Cons: "I am a 5'3" 125# woman who, unfortunately, had a middle seat assignment. The passenger to my right, on the aisle, weighed approximately 375# and took up 1/3 of my seat. The arm was not able to go down comfortably, and when it did it was not usable . The passenger on my left, window seat, was probably 6'7" and had to sit with a man spread in order to fit. I could not move and was extremely uncomfortable. The plane was overbooked so I was unable to move. Therefore, worst flight ever. Plus, I paid for a full seat and was only able to occupy half of it."

Cons: "My 12 year-old had a screen that was not working and finally we got an attendant to help us out. But until then, I had attendants who were telling us to try things and then they'd leave and not come back to check up and follow through, which left us constantly trying to find someone...one time our call light was on for 20 minutes before anyone attended to us. In addition, the bathrooms were very dirty. The breakfast was a really bad muffin that I couldn't eat."

Pros: "Overall, United in US gets a two rating. International flights get a four rating."

Pros: "Hats off and Thank you to the Man behind the counter at the gate. My knees are bad and I walk with a cane, he ensured I was transported safely and in time to the new gate when we had to switch gates because of plane issues."
Cons: "When a couple of ladies boarded and were going to be seated in the exit isle. going by the color of their skin and the clothes they were wearing, the stewardess with long blonde hair, assumed they did not speak English, and rather rudely told them that they should not be in this row. To which they responded in prefect English. told her they were comfortable with the emergency seat and helping passengers. She kept pushing them and finally they switched with a couple other passengers. VERY RUDE!!!!"

Pros: "The crew was not very unhelpful & hardly accommodating, not helpful at all. I have never met such a cold hearted airline crew, so unthankful & not trying to help customer. They kept rolling their eyes & speaking like I was a dirt. I will NEVER fly this airline & I will make sure everyone knows."
Cons: "Came early to counter & my passport expires August 9th, so they refuse to help me & did not let me go on board even though I had approval from Jordanian country to fly there. Austerian ticket crew & supervisor did not want even to check the pass through to board with permission. The WORSE airline!!!"

Cons: "My flight was canceled and I received no communication from Austrian Airlines. There was no staff at ticketing counter. The contact number that O’Hare had was a disconnected Verizon number, which was the same number listed on their website. I had to call the international number where I was told I was rebooked on United with 2 layovers instead of one. I also lost my business class upgrade and was told there was nothing they could do about it."

Pros: "Everything went very well! Boarding was easy, the flight was smooth with little turbulence, we arrived on time, the crew was friendly and attentive, the food was good!"

Pros: "The crew and the service was excellent. Dinner was excellent. The hot breakfast never came. We were served a roll and one small cup of coffee with no refills. That was my only complaint. On a long overseas flight I think a hot breakfast would have been better than a roll."

Pros: "They were really good with checking in my excess baggage and my two cats. Cats travelled well and arrived as expected. Check in at O'Hare was very friendly. In the air, flight attendants were very accommodating and friendly. All luggage and cats arrived! The plane from O'Hare to Austria was very nice!"
Cons: "I think I have gotten used to Asiana's and Korean Airlines'. It just didn't seem to measure up to their business class service. The food (which has been highly rated!) I found to be just mediocre. Maybe it's because I was living in Asia for eight years and had become more accustom to asian cuisine?? I didn't love the seat either. When you recline, your feet are cramped inside a small area under the seat in front of you. It was cramped. The ability to customize the seat recline was limited. I like being able to move the head and feet into my own customized position. The business class seats from Vienna to Amman felt like coach."

We try to stay hydrated on the flights and when I asked for water at the back of the plane, I was kindly given the water and another attendant grabbed the curtain and closed it making it plain I was not to be there. (I've never had that happen on any other flight.)"

Cons: "Our flight was cancelled .No explanation at all.Hotel was given to us.Thank you for that.We dear only 4 hours.The following day we were there since 5 in the morning and the first word was 10 o clock flight.After to many hours they decided that they can bring us to Mynih and after that flight to Tirana.So I left home Thursday 2 o clock and arrive in Tirana after 2 days. No luggage until yesterday.It never happen before.But in top of everything my plans in Albania were messed up.I have to pospne my return flight 1 week and the charges are unbelievable tooo much 650 dollars.I am not stopping here.Thank you."

Pros: "After departing the cluster fk that is O'Hare airport it's such a pleasure to interact with Vienna and Austrian Air. I had 'only' an hour to make the connection, and yet all, that is all, formalities took no more than 10 minutes. I had plenty of time to spare. Waiting area at the gate had plenty of seating and the staff was professional and courteous. We had to gate check bags as the plane was a regional turboprop, but everything went very smoothly."

Having some toilets out of order compounded the problem Food is ok at best. The morning muffin was terrible A poor comparison to our flight last year on Turkish air"

Pros: "The boarding and exiting of the aircraft was smooth and organized. I really do prefer that passengers be strictly monitored when boarding the plane according to their seats. It really does make sense to board the plane from the rear forward. I realize airlines feel like they have to make their business class passengers feel special, but it really doesn't make sense for passengers to be climbing over one another."
Cons: "I left my entertainment at home in a mad rush to depart which is very unusual for me. As a result, I had to rely on Austrian Airlines' copyright licenses, and they were less than satisfactory. Fortunately, I'm flying back with Lufthansa, so I hope there will be more variety there. The lavatory at the back of the plane was filthy by the end of the flight. I don't understand why the flight attendants feel to good to clean the lavatories for their passengers. We are stuck on a flying can for 9-10 hours and deserve to have clean lavatories during that time. At one point, I was thirty and approached the back of the plane. When I entered the rear galley, the ladies looked at me like I was intruding. If self-service is not available for passengers, then flight attendants should be prepared to serve their customers."

Cons: "I was very disappointed with Austrian airlines. I was not able to pick my own seat even after I checked in and the actual seats on the plane were extremely small and uncomfortable. This made it impossible for me to enjoy mi flight. A 5'6' person should not have any issues but my knees were touching the seat in front of me. The seat was very narrow - it felt cramped and as if they turned a space designed for 2-4-2 into a 3-4-3. When I called the customer service before the flight to get a seat next to my husband who had a separate reservation, it took about 4 calls before anyone even mentioned that out reservations could be linked together. will not fly Austrian airlines again."
