Pros: "We never too this flight as Avianca cancelled our original flight. Your partner in Airfare.com was absolutely zero help in helping us resolve the issue. They told me I had to contact Avianca directly to resolve the matter. The only flights they had available were on different days."
Cons: "I am still trying to get a refund from the airline for a flight that they knew I was never going to take. I will never use any sort of third-party service for booking anything again. What is the point using it if it will be zero help when I did not cause the changes that occurred??"

After booking 4 direct flights from New York to Barranquilla to Cartagena to Medellin and back to New York, only one of which was through bogota, I got 3 notifications that all my flights were now going through bogota with 3.5 hr layovers! Cons: "Seats were very uncomfortable. They cancelled my original flight and gave me 2 stops. When I tried to call customer service, I waited in the phone for 5 hrs and no one ever picked up. I gave up my seat as they asked and they told me I would get an aisle seat, instead I got a middle seat and they said they can’t change it back."

I shouldn’t be surprised that none of our luggage arrived because of the unorganized check-in but it just added to the frustration."

This means instead of arriving 8pm, I would now be arriving 8am the following day (I actually arrived after 1pm, so all in, it was about 30 hours of travel experience). At the request of the United agent in Minneapolis, I got in Customer Service line in Chicago to have my bags properly transferred to my connecting flights. After an hour in line, the agent proved to me by showing me the screen she was working on, that my bags would be routed directly to my final destination. She was confused why I was told to even come in line, so, great, another hour wasted."
