Pros: "This flight was part of a longer trip - I flew from Hartford, CT, USA on a different airline and connected to Japan Airlines in Chicago. I flew Chicago to Tokyo in JAL and then from Tokyo to Manila again on JAL. The service on first leg was very good and friendly of my JAL flights, food was good, seat was comfortable. Then on my second flight from Tokyo to Manila I was shocked but thrilled that I had been given an upgrade to first class. The whole experience was outstanding! The seat was incredibly comfortable and the food was phenomenal. The only problem, not that you could call it a problem, was that I was so comfortable with my fluffy pillow and fully reclining seat that I couldn’t stay awake to finish my movie! Thank you!"

Cons: "In LA terminal, instead of the gate number the airport labeled my flight as “TBIT.” Not being local, I had no way of knowing it meant Tom Bradley International Terminal. I stayed near another gait that had international flights, and it turned out the gate was clear on the other side of the complex, which is obscured by construction. If I hadn’t asked one of the workers there I would have missed my flight."

Cabin foods are generous, filled with variety and tasting the best among various international airlines that I have experienced between LAX and Taipei, Taiwan in the past ten years. The seat belt on light and bell were kept at minimal, in contrast to other airlines like EVA, China Airlines, Korean Airlines and United Airlines."

Pros: "My seat and my son's seat were booked apart on the both flights. So I requested the representatives at the check in counters at both airports to change our seats so that we could seat next each other. They were willing to help us out and we got the great seats. They had to ask other customers to help this out, too. In the airplanes, the flight attendants were extremely helpful and friendly when we asked them questions and favors, with nice smiles and calm quiet voices. No wonder the atmosphere was very relaxing and quiet during the both flights. The leg room was roomier and the facilities were newer. When I saw three pilots bowed to the customers before getting into the airplane, I felt they were very professional and ready for their jobs."

Pros: "This review is for return travel from ATL to MAA (Chennai, India) and back. Route: ATL-DOH: about 14.5 hrs; DOH-MAA: about 4.5 hrs; Likes: 1. Baggage check-in process was simple and easy. 2. Meal preferences was good - I'm a vegetarian and on the onward journey forgot to specify the meal preference but the crew had enough inventory to meat the requirements. 3. Every seat was provided with a small plastic pouch/packet/goodie bag that consisted of a eye mask (very thoughtful), pair of sock, toothpaste+brush (very thoughtful), hand cream. This was very useful and effective. 4. Entertainment - options were good and current."
Cons: "Dislikes: 1. Online check-in wasnt easy; towards the end of the process, there is an option to email the boarding pass but this never worked. Not sure if this is something to do with the browser (tried with Firefox, Opera) 2. It would have been good, as part of the online check-in, if the users reminded to specify the meal preferences, etc. I forgot to specify the meal preferences but thankfully the crew had enough of what I wanted. 3. Take a relook at the packaging of the toothpaste tube in the goodie bag. It was sealed in such a way that it was difficult to open it w/o a sharp object. This should have been easier. 4. Seats were the worst part - poor legroom. Worst, the seat cushion is the worst. I think it was just a fabric over a metal seat with minimalist of cushion. ATL to DOH leg was the worst (and the longest leg of the trip). Unless you have open seats next to you it would be a back breaking and painful trip. Seat comfort wise, I would rate Qatar as the worst. Luckily on the return leg (DOH-ATL) next two seats to mine was empty, so was able to stretch and sleep well. DOH-MAA or MAA-DOH seating was little better (think its a older plane; newer planes have worst seats) 5. The website was damn slow while accessing from overseas. Even in the US, at times the website hangs-up, freezes or spins often. 6. Food was ok -dinner and lunch but minimalistic; I didnt see any specific breakfast menu or any coffee served separately (was part of beverage option during lunch or dinner) 7. There was no alert, communication, notification, reminder of upcoming trip via email or text, etc. Many airlines does this very often but Qatar was totally silent on it (they did have my email during checkin). Not sure why."

Pros: "Check-in was a breeze; considering this being an internationaly travel, baggage check-in process was fast and easy. Was in and out in about 5 minutes. Goodie bag was a good idea; the goodie bag contains an eye mask, mini tooth brush, paste, hand cream, etc. These all were great idea and definitely helpful. However this is ruined by the tooth paste. It was a tiny tooth paste, fair enough but the opening is sealed tight w/o a way to easily pry open. This was a total bad idea of packaging. Flight tips were also good idea and informational."

The seats were cramped and narrow (no side support) Seat cushion has been stripped down to bare minimum, so effectively you may not feel much of a cushion. Cramped legroom Seats felt like junk and I had started having leg cramps after few hours. This so disappointing for a premier airline like Qatar. Overall a very uncomfortable ride."

Cons: "It is very difficult to get around CDG airport with a disabled person. There is no shuttle. By the time we got to check in, we were ten minutes late. They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."

Would have been better to spend that time in the terminal and given credits to buy food, etc. My seat was a regular seat (non exit) and the seat did not recline properly, the USB drive was broken, overall the plane felt unmaintained. The crew was friendly and food was good but I felt not enough was done to accommodate the extra hours we had to wait on the plane."

Cons: "Personal tv didnt work for majority of flight and when it did there was no audio (update technology ASAP)"

Cons: "Flight delayed for 2 hours at the gate. Crew clueless about how to serve the food. Poor old BA. I remember them when they were good!"

Cons: "No free water on the flight. I was not able to use my USA credit card. Water is essential during flights!!!! I got sick on the pain from headaches!!!!!! Water should be a basic, free thing to served on a plain."

Cons: "No power plugs/usb ports. Very small, poor quality screen. Not much bigger than my iPhone."

Cons: "The seat in the so-called business class was too narrow even for a very slim person. The middle seat was too awful!"

Pros: "Highlight of the trip was BA's inflight safety video."
Cons: "I took a BA flight after a while. I had stopped flying BA in flight service and comfort was poor. I travel business class. Seats were dated (seat cushions), plane was dated, inflight entertainment systems dated (compared to most other airlines). Crew goofed up on food. I had a seat change which I informed the Sr Purser who came to take food order, his colleague who came to serve drinks. Still the server gave my food to the other passenger who had requested to change seats. Which resulted in no food for me. They clamoured some meal fro economy class and served so shabbily (only a pic can show how shabby it was - unfortunately I can't attach one here). In spite of all this the purser showed no remorse or offered no apology. I think I made a mistake in choosing BA, should have never come back to them."

Pros: "Everything was okay, except....."
Cons: "I was not happy with the ground staff in Mumbai, for not sending my baggage directly to Toronto, which was my last stop. I had to go through the whole process of checking in again in Montreal, where I could have missed my connecting flight to Toronto. I think your BA staff in Mumbai should be trained better, thanks."

Pros: "Economy plus was great. Economy was a little rough for me as seating was much less comfortable"

Pros: "Great crew members and boarding was immaculate."
Cons: "Good flight, however I could see that not only my children were bored after an hour into the flight. Entertainment would be beneficial for BA to introduce asap."

Cons: "My wife and I having to sit in separate seats when there were seats available next to each other. Being charged excess baggage when one suitcase was weigh under weight"

Pros: "I like that they upgraded the seat. My other flights, however, were garbage. This particular one was pleasant."
Cons: "Dude with stank breath constantly burping in my direction. Not your fault, I know."

Cons: "Old aircraft, mediocre entertainment display, food was sub par compared to previous flights"

Pros: "The room on plane to Heathrow, wouldn’t know about way back considering I had to rebook onto Air India..."
Cons: "Just the fact that BA decided to hold us in UK for 6 hours to get their full pay and the fact that Heathrow ground crew had not enough de icing equipment and resources were at an all time poor response. Three hour lines for checking on status of bags, status of flights, unable to book a hotel through BA and got nothing from them. I didn’t enjoy freezing and staying there in Heathrow freezing... plus I didn’t fly this flight home due to fears of them not being able to handle a coating of snow versus what loads of snow we recieve in the states. I had to take Air India home to the US AND HATED IT... thank you BA and especially Heathrow Number one for lack of response and total irresponsibility..."

Cons: "Was delayed and plane wasnt cleaned pre boarding"

Cons: "The food was served twice on the flight, but was almost the same kind of menu."

Cons: "Plane was late which caused us to miss our connection and spend an extra 12 hours traveling to Gothenburg"

Cons: "Seats were way too uncomfortable for a trans atlantic flight. Our seats from atl to lhr were much better The crew didn't hand us customs forms in the back of the plane"

Pros: "I loved the hot towel svc, the food and beverage svc. Flight attendants very attentive."

Pros: "Plane had a bit more legroom than others I've been on recently. That was a pleasant surprise"
Cons: "Airlines in general need to do a better job of controlling the boarding process (using the groups to board) and controlling the amount of luggage people bring on. Peoples definition of a "personal item" are skewed."

Cons: "Has taken up mobility/special assistance while bookkong but didn't get any assistance after landing at London Heathrow airport. Entire transfer at Heathrow airport for catching up next flight to Phoenix, USA lot of struggle had done because of it."

Pros: "If I had another option for a direct flight to London, I'd take that over traveling with BA."
Cons: "They ran out of the meat option for my meal. Understandable but I couldn't eat the veg option either. The flight attendant literally said to me that they had no other food on board - a complete lie of course which I didn't appreciate given the $1500 ticket I paid for the flight."

Pros: "Arrived on time"
Cons: "We paid $85 each to have extra leg room - which were horrible seats near the toilet. Which became a gathering area and we were unable to sleep/watch movie in peace. Worst of all was the fact that someone was sick in the toilet (inside and out) the toilet was closed BUT no sign is placed on it so people continue to line up and wait..... unless I told them it was not in use.... this went on for 2 hours!!! A simple sigh on the door was all it needed."

Pros: "Staff was very professional and courteous. No much waiting time for check in. Separate area for security clearance for British Airways passengers was very helpful and noteworthy."
Cons: "Carry on baggage at Mumbai Airport shown different dimensions than traveling from London. No proper communications for delayed flight and boarding was not organized. In flight food from Mumbai - London route was very much unsatisfactory."

Pros: "Service onboard is always pleasant."
Cons: "Not a fan of British Airways business seats. It feels narrow, crowded (i counted 8 people per row?) and not private. You get much better seats on other airlines without having to pay first prices. Boarding was confusing for people that don't know that Club World means business. And food was bland."

Cons: "One stewardess was rather rude. People on either side of me noticed how rude she was to me."

Pros: "Boarding was good and it was all on time. Plenty of room in overhead bins. Arrived early in Charlotte."
Cons: "The food was not good at all. Too stodgy and nothing fresh. The flight attendants were not particularly friendly or helpful but rather patronizing and bossy. The TV monitor system broke down consistently so could not watch a complete movie. Captain apologized and kept rebooting but it didn't really work. Long, boring flight with no entertainment..... not what we are used to these days."

Pros: "The original BA codeshare flight delayed by 19 hours, to the next day. They sent an email requesting not to come to the airport until the next day for the rescheduled time. After insisting on an alternative, we were put on Jet Airways flight at the last minute."
Cons: "Very poor systems, as they manually communicated with Jet, and would not waitlist on the Jet system even though Jet requested it. Despite putting us on Jet, they changed the connecting flight to the next day, connecting with the rescheduled BA flight! On reaching London, had to ask them to rebook on the original connecting flight, as we had taken alternate JET flight!"

Cons: "Delayed leaving ATL, sat on the Tarmac for 30 mins. Leaving CLT was delayed 1.5 hrs for mechanical issue because it problem occurred during a shift change. Also was never given the opportunity to choose a seat assignment on CLT-BDL so I ended up in the very last middle seat."

Am an international traveler and asked for an exception to be made for the waiver of that fee as I couldn't figure that out while booking my ticket online, the information was so poorly reflected on the website! Spoke to a supervisor on duty and she was extremely rude and terrible as far as listening was concerned! Maybe people can be more human during such times, listen and take some feedback rather than stating a loud no and asking straight away to pay?"

Cons: "I don't like boarding in group 3 and having to climb over others who have already boarded, as I walk up the aisle I am hitting people with my purse, etc. and then when I get to my seat there are others seated in the aisle seat and they have to get up and move in order for me to get into the window seat. Why don't you board window seats first then middle seats then aisle seats, seems more logical."

Cons: "Boarding at Newark was extremely slow and inefficient. Luggage retrieval at MIA was awful and it took 85 minutes"
