Cons: "The rows are so narrow between seats that your roll on suitcase will not fit. You have no elbow room in your seat. People who live in England are very rude and would not let those of us seated in front of them to deplane. Too bad there isn’t someway to make people wait their turn."

It caused A HUGE INCONVENIENCE for us since we are in Zambia for 6 weeks without our gear to paddle one of the most challenging rivers in the world... the Zambezi. Now we are constantly trying to acquire the proper equipment with very little success. We run a nonprofit called the Montana Kayak Academy which provides free whitewater instruction to youth between 8 &18 yrs old and we will be sure to tell everyone we know to NOT TRAVEL WITH EITHER VIRGIN ATLANTIC OR BRITISH AIRWAYS.... EVER!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Cons: "Because this flight was delayed it was a miracle (involving running til my throat literally bled) that I made my connection. Ground crew could not have been less helpful - even to my friend who they knew was trying to get home to attend a family funeral."

I also liked that the exit row that I was given had more than enough leg room, the dinner was really good for airplane food and snacks were great also. The attendant that I had for my section also told me that all food and drinks were free so they gave me a few extra adult drinks here and there which is a plus for how long the flight was going to be. The movie selection is great also having some on there that are still in theaters is a huge plus."
Cons: "The boarding process seemed way out of order, they made so many mistakes and nobody knew what to do, then you have the pushy passengers that are sitting coach getting mad that you're boarding before them. Breakfast left me wanting something else, lets just say this if you are given the choice of something vs french toast, take the something."

I want more control over my personal mobility &, lighting. Horrible headsets (bring my own). This flight departed 2.5 HRs LATE from JHB & the crew & cavin service was SLOW. NO requested second cup of tea brought - I waited 20 mins & climbed over trolleys to get another one, even though it was requested of cabin crew. Do they just ignore us? Or forget?"

Cons: "The scheduling of the in flight events made no sense. The cabin was dimmed for take off (logical, given that it was a red-eye). However, once we were at altitude, the lights were put back on to serve dinner. Several people were woken up by this and it took like 1.5 hrs because its a big plane. Also, it was like 9-10pm local time by this point so dinner made no sense! Then the lights were dimmed and people tried to sleep. The lights were turned on 1.5 hrs prior to landing to serve a light breakfast. So, 6.5 hr red-eye turned into about 3.5 hrs of actual sleeping time. I would've preferred to be left alone and given a bigger breakfast."

Cons: "SAS has introduced hand luggage measurement and weighing at checkin, for a maximum of 17.5 lbs or 8 kg. SAS does not care if you have flown on another transatlantic carrier, which allows more than 8 kg. Then you need to start emptying your hand luggage at checkin. The whole checkin process was a big mess, the contract employees eg. at Heathrow do not help much (they probably do not do this to any other airline). SAS staff does not remind you to take your IDs and passport, medications etc. from your hand luggage, which is then checkedin luggage as opposed to hand luggage. It is obvious that transatlantic passengers have more hand luggage than many local passengers."

I finally emailed vayamas/kayak to cancel and 5 days later received a reply that there was no cancellation refund. Apparently Kayak provides a no communication/no refund policy. My travel companion had the opposite experience with Expedia."
Cons: "Due to a train mix-up, I arrived at the Frankfurt airport with only 53 minutes to get through security and board. Lufthansa would not let me through the process, even though I immediately told them about the problem. They not only refused to let me board, but also refused to reschedule me. I had to buy a whole new round-trip ticket at more than double the price in order to meet my family for our once-in-a-lifetime reuinion in Norway, but also make my existing connection for the return flight. It cost me an additional 999 Euros cash in the middle of my vacation because my Kayak ticket was not refundable."

When I landed in Copenhagen, I had several hours before the next flight. I went through immigration and went to the SAS counter where my gate was. Woman told me I could not print the ticket there until an hour before the flight, but if I wanted to go back through immigration, I could get it printed there. I opted to just wait. One hour before the flight there was a huge line of people like me who had not tickets. I stood for about 30 minutes until I finally got it. Then flight was delayed an hour... Everyone was really nice and the flight was enjoyable, I just don't get what the heck is up with their ticketing system. Why can't I print a ticket at any SAS counter with printing capabilities? Why doesn't the phone app work? Why can I print connecting flights at kiosk?"

Cons: "There wasn't any notification prior to booking process, with regards the need to get visa from the airport where I should be transiting for 2 hours only. After I booked and paid for nonrefundable, unchangeable, uncancellable ticket, I got an email asking me to get a visa in order to be able to transit for only two hours in Toronto airport. The visa takes at least 2 weeks, and my travel date was only few days ahead!. The rough lady in air Canada, plus the bad service and advise by the travel agent who advised not to take any action as it is only 2 hrs transiting and I won't be in trouble, all of that makes me not to recommend anyone to use your weird website. I had to stay 20hrs in the airport to book for another flight."

Cons: "The flight had to make an emergency landing back in O'Hare due to technical issues with the plane. A part was missing, so the flight was cancelled. Getting a reimbursement has been a nightmare. The crew provided passengers with a hotline number that worked rarely: we were told to call the number after 9 AM the next day - it took until about 1 PM before the signal would stop being busy and another 1 hour on hold before anyone from support would pick up. After someone did answer, the support agent on the line was aggressive and rude. She said she could not help me due to the flight having been booked through Kayak. When asked whether she would be contacting them to determine next steps, since this was an issue between Aer Lingus and the website, she shouted that she would do nothing of the sort and immediately hung up. Overall, this entire experience has been a nightmare - I would not recommend flying through Aer Lingus to anyone. Not due to the flight cancellation, but due to the complete lack of support and utter disinterest in helping customers."

(He also reeked of alcohol but was not obnoxious in any way.) I was well and truly squished in the corner but managed eventually to catch the eye of flight attendant and asked for another seat. The next seat -- the headphone jack did not work, and I ended up in the last row, with it all to myself, which was great, because at 5 foot tall, I could stretch out. Crew were very nice and hadn't developed the officious, chip-on-the-shoulder attitude common among many United flight attendants. Aer Lingus crews have always been lovely."

Seat size has become absurd and is not adequate for the average American and, increasingly, European. Any one who needs a seat belt extender should not be seating in an economy-size seat. If this had been a full flight with me unable to move seats, I would have been more than miserable with the large man beside me oozing over the sides and taking half my leg space."

No tea or coffee. They lost one of our bags, no apology and another company handled the search and return. No reason given to leave it behind. baggage and carry on rules are complex and complicated, and you never know when they will decide to enforce them and penalize you. If you can get there any other way don't go Air Canada."

Cons: "53 minute hold time to call center (before my call was even answered) to order vegetarian meals for flight (the day before flight) -wish that could be done online, vegetarian meal request not transferred to new flight after we missed our initial flight due to first flight delay, lights not working properly for half of flight (sleeping child under spotlight), the pasta dish, collecting garbage in my seat throughout flight (particularly after meal service), cramped seating, lack of entertainment, and they are now charging for alcoholic beverages on international flights. I'm not a big drinker, but I still enjoyed that perk."

Pros: "Toronto is a lovely airport, and it's a short hop to Europe from there, which is why Air Canada Rouge is ok for the trip. It's important to remember that their no frills approach means no TVs. Sleep or plan accordingly."
Pros: "Again the crew was enjoyable and the timliness of the flight and the boarding process was great. Also I appreciated the blanket and pillow given for the flight"
Cons: "There was no entertainment for this 6.5 hour flight, I was very disappointed with that."

Cons: "Where do I start. Plane was very late taking off but the biggest thing was that I paid extra for a premium seat and I think it was worse then any regular seat. Waste of money!! Now the food. It sucked and there wasn't much of it. Dinner was at best skimpy and " breakfast" was a piece of some kind of cake. That was it!"

Cons: "Old plane, no entertainment unless you knew to get their app, before getting on the plane, limited leg room, bad food, no drinks on an int'l flight. Too bad it was the same price others charge."
Pros: "Smooth boarding, friendly crew, pillow and blanket both serviceable. Food was a little better than I expected for economy."
Cons: "Baggage handling ripped handle clean off new suitcase, both ends. Delays in departures from Dublin led to us using stairs off of plane on tarmac. Entertainment mostly dependent on app you can't download on plane if you're using wi-fi."

Cons: "Plane (767-300) is so old you have to use their app on your own device to watch movies. Plane is so long it takes forever for even simple beverage service to get to you, blocking aisles for hours while various carts are dragged about. Servings were mean, you could only get the can of soda if you begged, refills were also slim, and ice was a cube, maybe two. At one point I was so dry I had to page air staff to ask for more water (and I Never do that!). Food was mediocre at best. Landing, plane shook so hard I thought it would come apart! Planes like this need to be retired FAST. Last time I will fly this equipment. I'm literally going to pay all those ridiculous fees to change my return flight. Hated this exhausting, inconvenient, unpleasant and entirely too expensive experience. Don't fly Air Canada overseas!!"
