Pros: "To be honest I had a pretty bad flight because my allergies exploded during the entire flight - constant sneezing, runny nose, you name it. However, the attentiveness of the crew really made up for it. The cabin was decorated with tiny wreathes (so cute!), and the pillow/blanket was very comfortable/warm for an Economy seat. Although I did not use it as much, the entertainment seemed top-notch. And the crew-- they noticed that I was not feeling well, and offered me peppermint tea and snacks that did sooth things a bit (you can request for snack/beverage refills anytime!). I loved that they gave out black socks to the passengers too (I prefer taking my shoes off during the flight, so the socks added warmth & prevented my own socks from getting dirty). All in all, it was one of the best-serviced long flights I had, not to mention probably the most affordable price I paid for my annual trip to Korea (from LA)."

"There was a misunderstanding during check in that it was a mandatory requirement to make hotel reservations for quarantine without it you can’t board the airline.So we had to booked a hotel last minute and it was the wrong hotel since it’s not accredited by DOH Philippines. Since it was last minute we can’t get a refund or cancel the hotel. It was stressful and unnecessary hassle."

Cons: "I’m regarded as disabled, usually I have TSA pre-check privilege in most of the airline I took before but unfortunately, I couldn’t get any from Asiana. The guy helped me on checking in told me that AsIan’s didn’t provide this service to the customer. I felt not quite happy but ok with this. The one made me feel upset is they didn’t give me pre-boarding even though they already noticed that I’m disabled. I needed to wait on the line for over 25 minutes, my left leg very tired. I can walk but I can’t stand for long time, it hurts my back and leg. I got almost same style Vegetarian food in both dinner and breakfast, all vegetables, no tofu at all."

Their messages are inconsistent & her attitude was uncalled for, especially when she let other disabled passengers on with their more than one family members & the other Asiana staff members told us to go in at the same time."

They were simply relying on the process which has been broken. Then upon the delivery, the driver informed us the severe damage in my tumi bag."

Cons: "1) The ground staff in SEA never said a single 'please' or 'thank you', let alone any eye contact or even a mere 'you're welcome' in response to my expressions of thanks; I was made to thoroughly feel like a mere transaction. Clearly, Asiana severely needs basic manner- training for its staff. (this isn't the 1st time I've experienced rudeness from Asiana staff, but I just ignored it & chucked it up to their tired busy working days.) 2) We sat on the tarmac for an hour, exactly. We departed 1 hour later than scheduled, despite a short connection, which they, themselves, scheduled into this flight! ..."

On my flight from San Francisco to Korea, things were just fine, Though I wish I had the window seat that was actually adjacent to the window, and not separated from the window by a desk/table arrangement. Aside from that, everything was grand."
Cons: "The flight from Korea to Bangkok was a different story. The seats resembled those you would find in premium economy on other airlines. While the food and service were good, the entertainment was abysmal. Basically, you were watching TV with poor quality reception and no ability to choose what you wanted to watch other than flipping through the channels to see what was already on. Although this was nearly a seven hour international flight, The entertainment package felt like something you would encounter on a cheap charter bus to Vegas. If I knew this was the aircraft I would be taking, I would never have booked on Asiana. The flight to Bangkok was really substandard."

Pros: "When checking in, the agent upgraded me to an exit row for free, which Asiana sells as a "preferred" seat. The legroom was phenomenal and the seat next to me remained empty. I was in the first row of the economy cabin, so I was the first to get served during the meal time and the first to have the trash collected. The seat was comfortable and had ample padding, even though the armrests could not move due to being in the exit row."
Cons: "When boarding, there is just one huge line with the entire flight lined up. Myself and a few other passengers just waited around the gate area until final call and then boarded, avoiding having to stand in the line that stretched to the next gate. The aircraft was an non-refurbished A330, featuring the old TV screens that showed entertainment in a loop. Good enough for a 2 hour flight, but any longer and AVOD would have been nice. Flight was delayed for 1 hour, we landed 1 hour late, but I still had enough time to make my connection."

Pros: "The price: my round trip ticket from Tokyo Haneda to JFK was only 850USD The layover is only 2 hours which is bearable and enough time to find the boarding gate and a little shopping."
Cons: "Everything else. You can check-in online within 48 hrs before your flight, but there is no QR code produced on their app for paperless check-in. The food was terrible, and the seats were not made for long flights. I really felt the "economy" vibe. They only provide disposable slippers, but everything else you need to check the lavatories if there were toothbrushes or mouthwash packets left. Overall, I will still consider flying this airline for any emergency flight back to the US, but if there will be a compeittive airline, maybe i'd try another. Their business class seem enticing.. maybe comsoder it too."

Cons: "I missed the flight LAX to Manila due to confusing departure time. May 31 Wednesday at 12:20 AM indicated in the ticket is actually one day before May 31; i.e., the passenger should be 3 hours before the flight on May 30 Tuesday around midnight. I clarified with Webjet (India) representative who explained that I go to the airport on Wednesday. Asiana should have used military time; thus 12:20am should be 00:20 Hr. to avoid confusion. Asiana penalty for "no show" was USD511 and earliest available flight was 4 days after May 31. I took another airline to go to Manila. I missed my hotel and all other appointments because of the misleading Asiana flight information. It was a big mess for me!!!"

Cons: "When I began my trip at ORD my niece upgraded my ticket to business. At approximately $3400, plus my initial ticket price, due to a health reason my niece had. She wanted me near her for assistance. We were told there the business seats were full with the Seoul Hanoi flights. There was no adjustment for the economy price on those legs of the flights. When we got to Seoul, the whole business area was empty. We were informed by the staff no seating adjustment could be made. A form was completed in regards to the inability to make adjustments. My niece, Julie Cowling, emailed Asiana the day we arrived in Vietnam, the day before we left to return home she recieved a reply. She checked with the ticket counter in Hanoi, prior to our departure, they were unable to make adjustments. There were seats available. This was very frustrating. Routinely airlines can make the seating adjustments."

Cons: "The check-in line was about an hour long. There were way too few people at the counters for a very large plane. I pre-weighed my bags on scales that weren't being used and moved things around. The really stressful part was my carry on bag. It was overweight and transferred things to my handbag and into my suitcases as much as I could. The only things in my carry on were my laptop and medication. It was still 2 kilos overweight. I appealed to the manager who said I had to check it. Checking a bag with my medication would be dangerous to my health and we know they wouldn't reimburse me for the theft of my laptop. The manager, Yeonju Lee (first name may be spelled incorrectly) was completely inflexible and devoid of compassion as was the check in agent. They said the restriction was due to security measures, which is a lie. I've traveled all over the world with carry on over 20 pounds and there has never been a problem. They said I had to correct the problem in 7 minutes or I would not be allowed on the plane. Ultimately, I almost missed the flight. I had to ask people in the security line if I could go ahead of them. If I can avoid it, I will never fly Asiana again. The seats are hard as rocks which is difficult for a 14 hour flight."

I still missed my connection. the fact I had flight insurance just meant I could go after the taxi fare home due to this missed connection and then wait a year for the money back. seattle as well as Vancouver BC are both terrible entry points to the USA. I slept on the Vancouver airport floor last year. this trip it was very close to sleeping in seattle because immigration and customs take so long, then require going back thru security at a 2 check point choke hold in the basement of the seattle international section. next trip I think I will take a boat."

In the end they took you on a bus-ride to domestic gate; need to climb a couple of narrow stairs (good luck for older people); the escalator next to it is set for descending only while the ground crew doing nothing. Then your plane are on the 7th queue for another 20 minutes. Food is mediocre, in flight entertainment suddenly went blank and resetting for several minutes."

Cons: "Due to the enormous inside volume it is impossible to maintain a pleasant air temperature. It's nearly impossible to hear any announcements due to the extremely poor acoustics. The large open spaces and ceramic tile floors aren't conducive to hearing anything! No announcement to the departure time as we were already 20 minutes past the established boarding time as indicated on the boarding pass. I was sitting quite close to the check-in counter and was able to decipher that the boarding process was going to happen soon, so I took a position in the line without any announcement."

We will never take this option again"

Bad management is not the same as "late arrival". At 3 AM everybody was on board. No other arriving or departing aircraft in that CGK airport at that ungodly time. The pilot mumbled something about loading cargo. We sat an extra 50 minutes before taking off. This airplane has no screen of any kind in Economy. There were posters and a booklet describing the possibilities of entertainment. Again, who is kidding whom? Before going bankrupt, the old Philippines Air Lines used the acronym P.A.L. And everyone read: "Planes Always Late". The acronym is gone, but the delays are back, for sure. I am sorry that I did not go on a low cost flight."

At the very least Philippines Airlines should have provided transport betweeen terminals. We will NOT transit through MNL again until this is fixed."

Then they finally came back and said that per their schedule, the first flight out is on ANA is at 6:45, not 7. And the reason why they couldn't find it is because it was only code share ANA but operated by Philippines airlines. As a result I missed my flight, missed my work and had to deal with co sequences. Unacceptable"
