Cons: "Usually I love ICN airport. I was not aware there was another terminal, kilometres away by shuttle bus, that I needed to use between flights. If not for the extremely helpful information booth staff at station E, who arranged to have my luggage forwarded to my final definition, barely in time when the flights were purchased separately, I would have missed my flight trying to get my luggage then check it again, in addition to all the other steps. This time, I found the various steps in the procedure unpredictable. The signage is great but I didn't know what I was to do next."

Pros: "By chance, I ran into a China Southern customer service representative and another group facing the same difficulty as me (needing a temporary visa). The China Southern representative dealt with the immigration services to expedite our temporary visa applications in China."
Cons: "When going to the gate in Denpasar that was supposed to be where we boarded, our flight was not listed. (Although it was listed on the reader board as that gate). When approaching a China Southern representative, he kind of chuckled and said I don't know, maybe this gate #. There was no announcement of gate change. It was only realized by one person telling a group and it being passed along by others who were on the flight and waiting in the waiting area. I truly do not know how that one person figured it out. It was an older plane and there was no entertainment on board. Flight was delayed. When arriving at Guangzhou, there was not any guidance on needing to receive a temporary visa since the connecting flight to San Francisco went through Wuhan. When purchasing the ticket, it was unclear that this was needed since there was going to be a connecting flight through Wuhan and it was unclear that the connecting flight went through Wuhan. The ticket made it look as if we would be flying straight from Guangzhou to San Francisco. When asking one China Southern representative about where to go for temporary Visa, she "guided" me to the China representative handling the situation. Her "guidance" was done by grabbing my wrist and yanking me to her. I believe this is cultural, but being an international airline, I would think they would be observant of other cultures. Mobile devices that can be used as a cell phone are not allowed to be on or used while on board the flight. This includes mobile phones in flight mode (China Southern explained to me that this is Chinese law), so you are forced to use their entertainment system and not be able to listen to your own music."

Cons: "Delayed my initial flight 5 hours due to "weather" which was a rainstorm in which other planes of all sizes were landing and taking off. The storm would have been avoided had the plane been on time to begin with. Missed my connection and then had to argue with the manager for 2+ hours just to get a flight that wasn't a full 24 hours away. Was then told that they couldn't upgrade my seat because the flight was full, both business and premium economy had empty rows of seats. Throughout the experience China Southern employees lied to me and did everything possible to make the process harder. Had multiple employees just walk away from me without helping. Will never fly China Southern ever again."

Pros: "Crew was really good and helpful but sometimes there was a language barrier. I accidentally got off the plane but it was my own mistake aa I should of paid closer attention to the itenary. I did ask a crew member if I should leave the plane and she said to ask ground crew. But there was a lot of pasangers that did the same thing. I had to go through customs, security check and immigration to get back on the plane."

Pros: "It was the cheapest flight I could find that time. My connection flight delayed because of weather in Urumqi, but they tried to solve and gave me free accommodation for night. Food wasn't that bad."
Cons: "Urumqi was bad weather, so we landed in Kashi. Team didn't explain well about it. So there was no explanation. Even I didn't know where I was, what going to happen. They need to improve their English and also should explain to Passengers. Also, not really helpful for connecting flights. They put yellow sticker on our chests but wasn't sure why they did."

Cons: "We arrived late into Guangzhou, and had to do the international transfer, and the staff were not much help at all. They did nothing to make sure we made our next flight with them. We literally ran through the airport which wasn't completely necessary. It was the cheapest by a long shot though. Spending the night in the GZ airport on your way to Phnom Phen is not recommended. . . We did that and the GZ airport has windows open to the outside so it's freezing inside."
