Cons: "The connection in Miami didn’t happen - the flights crew on the ORLANDO yo to Miami flight were rude and unhelpful - the plane sat in the tarmac waiting for a gate so flight arrived 15 minutes before planned departure - we inquired as to whether the plane would be held - response- despite having internet access was “ I don’t know “ you’ll have to check with gate agent - oh and by the way the flight attendant was virtually laying on the front seats - she as grossly obese and was so large as he walked the aisles she would hit passengers every time she turned around - we ran to the gate arriving 8 minutes before departure - gate was shut two gate agents were reading social media posts on their phones - we inquired about the flight - the gate agent said “ you missed the flight “ and then sat down and continued on her phone - the other one at least looked up and told us where to them go for assistance - eventually we were assisted and offferd 1 to wait u til the next day to go or to go through London - we took the London option. 1. I was informed by anAA employee they the connection is frequently missed due to similar problems. 2. Flight attendants and gate agents will bankrupt the airline with their horrible attitude. - they should be fired."

Pros: "The plane was nice and clean. Boarding went well and staff nice on boarding. Service was smooth though food not great but then it is airplane food. The morning continental food was nicely packaged and good."
Cons: "The plane boarded and left gate a little late but had a maintenance issue with one of its doors so plane had to return to gate. We finally got off the ground almost three hours late but staff tried to be as helpful as possible though they didn’t know much. It was good the passengers seemed fairly patient and accepting. The horror was at the airport in Venice where it took over two hours in very long line just to get through passport check."

Pros: "Nice modern plane. Even though the flight was delayed, we ended up boarding earlier than expected and arrived pretty close to our original expected arrival time."
Cons: "The crew was nice and everything, but they weren't very good at making announcements on the loudspeaker. You could tell they didn't really know what they were saying or haven't practiced. One lady was trying to make a sales pitch for a new master card and you could tell she was reading and there were long pauses. My sense is that when using the loudspeaker to talk to the entire flight, one should be practiced and know what they're saying and communicate quickly and efficiently. Don't mean to be critical, but it's something that I noticed that could be improved."

Cons: "The flight attendants were highly rude and i felt as if i was discriminated on. I was sitting in the back and the flight attendant who was suppose to assist us made us feel like i was a bother to her. First of all she just rudly dropped biscuits on my table didnt ask if i wanted and then I had to ask her for coffee, she didnt ask me if i wanted something to drink. Finally she brought my daughter and I some coffee. i ask for sugar and she said im very busy you have to wait....eventually she gave me one packet of sugar. I had to ask for another sugar for my daughter , so when i ask she gets upset and tells me i have to wait but there as a white who ask for assistance and she was very polite to her."

Flight attendant inquired about comfort. It improved for about 10 minutes and returned to cold state . Noticed that one attendant put on some kind of jacket due to coldness . Nearby passengers retrieved blankets from their carry on baggage. Glad I had at least a light jacket to throw over me and that my legs were partially covered. Guess it's better to be too cool than too hot. Otherwise. It was s great flight ."

Cons: "I did not get to go on my trip because I was told that I couldn't travel outside of country on a one-way ticket and when I call the airline customer service number they were not helpful either. I lost my money and flight, they wouldn't even let suspend the ticket for later used. Worst experience ever"

Cons: "I didn't like the fact that if you're cold on the flight unless you're flying first class, you're subject to freeze the entire ride to your next destination. I was told " we only have blankets for 1st class boarding only". So my economy class is not expensive enough to be comfortable and warm on our trips as we'll. I think its very ridiculous, and immature that because I fly a different class of flight im subject to be very uncomfortable the rest of my flight. Someone should do something about this prejudice rule against flyers."

Cons: "The lack of communication, I received an email about my flight changing at 9am but I did not see it because I was at the airport. No one at the gate said anything to us until we started going to the counter. I was switched to a standby flight which the employee thought it was more important to get an employees husband on and offered me a seat for $1,300 in first class if I wanted to get on "that bad" or another flight 3 1/2 hours later that would not qualify me for a lunch ticket. That 1:40 flight was delayed and we stayed sitting in the plane waiting for permission to leave at 2:56pm. I was to be in NY at 3pm to meet my family on other flights but I got there at 6:30pm while they waited for hours!!! Communication is very important, I know that incidents happen, but this was ridiculous! The flight attendants even ran out of free pretzel snacks and offered items for purchase. Will not forget this experience for a while."

Cons: "Allegiant has an obscure boarding policy that shuts down online and in-person check-in 45min before departure. We got to the Allegiant desk 35min before departure to get our boarding passes and no luggage to check, and were told we missed the flight because check-in wasn’t allowed anymore. That policy should be made very visible and clear to anyone buying tickets on Allegiance as no other airline does that to passengers. We lost 4 tickets and had to buy tickets for a flight the following day. Horrible experience!"

Pros: "It got us there and back for a descent price. The flight was fine but the seats are not comfortable and do not recline. I wouldn't suggest Allegiant for anything more than 2 hours and that was even pushing it."
Cons: "We arrived 3.5 hours early and the line was very long. They must have had a system glitch but didn't communicate to anyone in the line as to what was going on. When it did come time to board, they told everyone in the line that was going to Cincinnati that we couldn't check in until 2 hours before the departure time. Apparently there were some other flights that left before us. If they had told us to keep our place in line and to let other people through, that wouldn't have been a problem. But, they didn't. Their own website says you should check baggage at least 2 hours before your flight and no more than 4 hours before. They took it upon themselves to change the rules on people who arrive early. Then, once they no longer had anyone else to check in, they changed their rules again and start checking in people for Cincinnati about 2.5 hours ahead of time. A little communication and brain power from the staff would have gone a long way. After all that mess, the flight was delayed leaving about 15 minutes without any updates from Allegiant either."

Friend of ours seat was switched also and instead of him sitting next to his wife he sat next to a person who did not have an assigned seat he was extremely large and he was hanging off The seat into the aisle I noticed an empty seat and had to ask the stewardess if he could switch seats instead of the stewardess offering on her own. The flight out was delayed approximately one hour various mechanics coming on and off plane until finally we were able to leave."

Needs to be modernized, updated, and cleaned! I did not feel safe on this flight. Also, this flight was delayed for no apparent reason in Newark, which is also a poorly designed airport with confusing gates which are placed too close together so announcements are not clear."

Cons: "When arriving to the airport it was a bit confusing first finding where to get our connecting flight, that may have been an airport problem. But once we got to the right gate our plane was cancel or re-gated/scheduled three times. We had to walk all over the airport with less and less time to spare to make our flight out. When asking for direction or where to go we could never get a straight answer, it seem as if no one knew where to send us. I felt if I was being herded and hustled on getting a flight home, I had no choice in the matter of getting my flight out. If it wasn't for another passenger flying on the same plane we may have missed our flight all together because she was getting alerts on her phone for changes or updates. Once on the flight the air-condition was linking on one of our seat and we were first told to put a blanket over our head until take off, then we saw some empty seats so we asked to move. Once arriving at Cleveland airport we only discover our luggage had not arrived yet, not only did it not arrive we were told it had not yet left London Hethrow Airport and we would maybe get it in 24 hours. This was a problem because some of our personals we needed were in that luggage and we just had to make due and wait and see. We got our luggage the next day only for me to notice my lock was not on my luggage I do not know if this was taken off or I mistakenly left it off but I really do not think I did but I will check with the hotel to see if I left it there. I have always liked United but this really made me think on who to plan my next trip with later this year. And certainly will do my best to avoid coming through New Jersey. :("

Cons: "When I got to my seat I had to use a wipe to clean it because there was what looked like either throw up or oatmeal on my seat.... The pocket in front of me was filled with trash like an empty water bottle, a bag of chips and dirty napkins (they were very big so it was obvious that no one cleans between flights)... Also it didn't matter how many times I tried connecting to the wifi, I couldn't and I was willing to pay for it to because it was important that I work during my flight."

The lady flight artendant was nice just facially her expressions make her look stand off ish. They talked about passengers to each other in the aisle ways and made comments that "they've talk to this lady each several times and she's not listening". Seemed like private conversation they could try and have."

Cons: "Airport was horrible! Security line was 45 min. long and on the other side of the world. The plane was an hour late! No snow. No storms. Why? The crew, I guess tired, seemed bothered by the company of the passengers. The line to wait at the gate was very unorganized and confusing. No one knew which line was for which gate and people where cutting into lines everywhere. The airlines should provide better guidance for its passengers. I was connecting from Germany with Lufthansa and wow what a difference in customer service."

When time to board their was a line of 30 people getting new seat location before they could board the plane. A seat location I had for 3 months and checked in Ft. Myers 8 hours earlier was occupied so I was told very rudely to get in line behind 30 people to get new seat location. It took over an hour to board plane before take off. There was non English speaking customers who received no help boarding plane finding seats because crew was laughing joking with other passenger. They tried to put a non English speaking passenger in exit row. I paid $25 to check a bag to find passengers getting free bag checking at gate."

But with me .. Rudeness and bad service .. I said "hello , how are you?".. He didn't answer .. I told him when I did my checkin my boarding pass had "See agent" in the seating section .. The shape of the seat didn't allow much change in how you sat. For only 2 hrs. I survived but any longer would have been painful. Also, the speakers were extremely loud - they kept announcing things throughout the flight at high volume. Again - a relatively short flight and I arrived safely with my luggage."

Cons: "I absolutely hate all the fees for this and that. I started flying in the days of stewardesses who dressed up (not that a give a fig about that really) and meals were included. It's really difficult to come to terms with being charged for water. I made a mistake when booking and had a checked bag outbound and then a carry on returning which should have been a checked bag. I played hell trying to get this matter straightened around a few days before and then again while I was checking in for the flight. I finally requested to speak with someone higher up the food chain, and she managed to make things right in short order. Of course, there was no $5 refund. Why did it take 20 minutes of time to do this? In order to save us both from this type of thing in the future, I will avoid booking with Frontier. I think one has to be more organized than I to do things with a no frills airline."

They didn't care at all about their customers. In the end it cost them more because they put us up at a hotel for the night and gave us a meal voucher."

Getting an assigned seat, an extra $15 per person. And there was absolutely no leg room for that extra $15 (which I paid for). These costs should be shared upfront - basically every ticked is $50-$65 more than the website shows. I will not fly this airline again."

We were provided a substitute car seat for her and as we were a minute from our destination in Solon, we received a phone call that those missing pieces were located (we don't know where in the airport) and delivered a couple of hours later. It just speaks to the incompetence of the Spirit airlines staff. I do not think that we shall again fly Spirit in the near future, nor shall we recommend it to other family members or friends."

Its absurd, really. The seats on the planes do not even recline. Good luck using the tray table for anything other than your $5 cup of water. Its the smallest thing I've ever seen. Choose another airline."

Needless to say, I will never use Spirit again and I will make sure anyone I know, never uses them either. I called Spirit later and requested a refund, and I still have not seen this. I am highly disappointed and angry."

Myers airport was rude and somehow manipulated the scales so we had to pay even more to check our bag. The scale numbers kept changing and going up right in front of me, even though the bag was sitting completely still on the scale. I will never fly Spirit Air again. There was no question about what luggage we would be taking during initial booking, which meant we had to pay even bigger fees during check in 24 hours before our trip. It's also unbelievable that they don't even offer water to their customers during a 2 and 1/2 hour flight without charging $3.00. The fare was way more than if I would have just booked with a more reputable airline."

We expected subpar service and to get scammed on baggage and ticketing somehow. Not the case at all. The ticketing counter was super fast considering the line, they were helpful and even let our 4 lb overweight bag pass without us having to repack everything or pay a big fee. The planes are fine as well. Nothing special. No entertainment really. No food or beverages included for free but again, the price was half of the competition for the same flight. I will use Spirit again."
