Service was great, and the premium economy seating was very comfortable. The food was good.
First international flight where the meals were not to my taste.
Overall, my experience with EVA Air was mixed. The highlight was that the airline clearly tried to provide a premium dining experience by offering the Michelin-starred Kanpai Classic beef yakiniku rice. However, in the limited space of an economy-class cabin, this meal felt overly oily and not very practical to eat. The sauce and grease made it easy to get one’s hands or tray table dirty, and after the meal many passengers may need to go to the lavatory simply to wash their hands. While the food itself may be high quality, the presentation and practicality did not seem well suited to an in-flight environment. Another disappointing part was the paid Wi-Fi service. I paid for the internet package, but the service did not work properly. What made the experience more frustrating was that passengers then had to spend additional time requesting a refund, and the refund process itself was slow and inconvenient. For an international airline, I think a malfunctioning paid service should be handled more efficiently. As for the seat, I feel EVA Air’s economy-class seats may be more comfortable for Asian passengers or people with smaller body frames, but they may not be as comfortable for taller or larger Western passengers on long-haul flights. The overall cabin environment also varied during the flight. Some passengers were not very mindful of noise, cleanliness, or shared cabin etiquette, which affected the comfort of the journey. I believe clearer reminders from the airline regarding cabin manners and hygiene could help improve the overall passenger experience. In short, EVA Air has some strong points, especially in trying to offer a premium Taiwanese-style service, but there are also areas that need improvement: more practical in-flight meals, a more reliable paid Wi-Fi system, faster refund handling, and better cabin management during long-haul flights.

Crew was good. Sometimes food was eh. The spaghetti is gross for me. First time i got food, they didn’t provide utensils so i ate with my hands. I was hungry. They gave it to me 20 mins later when a crew member came by. I would fly with them again. Nobody is perfect
Flight attendants are polite and pro. Missing of on flight entertainment is a big miss for a ordinary airline.
I had knee surgery a few weeks prior. I was using cane walking very slow. Crew were extremely helpful
When requesting water, make sure, as a passenger, you specify cold or ice added to your cup
We boarded late and it snowballed from there. Had to wait behind 6 other flights to take off before us. Then, arriving late to our destination, we had to circle in the air for 20 minutes. If that's not enough, the seats are very cramped on their iteration if the A321neo. I'm 6"3' tall and my knees were pressed against the seat in front of me. These are not the slimline seats that offer less cushion with more leg room. I had no room to move my legs. Since I am an adult male, I also had no shoulder room. I sat on an aisle seat to have some space to lean my should out. But the walkway seemed to be more narrow than I am used to see. I felt bad for the middle passenger because there was just no where for me to put my shoulders except into the middle seat person. I don't plan to fly in this airline again in this configuration. Pack everyone in and lose my business.
We really enjoyed our flight to Seattle. The food was great and service was attentive.

Very bad. They don’t allow group people to sit together by blocking most of seats and opening only single seat during online checking in. . By doing so, they can rip off customers at the check-in counter by collecting extra money if we want to sit together in the same row.
Hour late but understandable under the conditions. Taoyuan airport could have clearer signs language wise and more staff to help direct people.
Delayed. Not a full flight and whole rows left open with the paid seating. Food was ok. My beef meal only had one cube of beef the rest carrot cubes. Entertainment on personal device but didn’t know about it until the flight was almost done.
The flight was uneventful and the crew was kind and professional. Really appreciate the option to order a vegan meal for the flight!
I absolutely loved my flight from Taipei to LAX. I was originally assigned to a different seat, however one of the stewardess noticed I was uncomfortable in my seat. She offered to move me to a more comfortable setting. Although she didn’t have to do what she did, I am more than grateful and thankful for her doing so. My longer flight felt much more comfortable, just by her taking notice. I really appreciate her.
Sat next to a woman who had her period. Blood was on her seat and on the arm rest between us. I ended up having period blood on my jacket and shoes. Very gross!
The go to HK trip will easily giving jetlag, but coming back to Chicago has no jetlag because of the time taking off matter.
Flight was delayed due to air traffic control and technical issues - power outage happened several time during taxiing in Taipei causing further delay for urgent technical check.
I booked wheel chair for my mother but she was told to walk by herself in the middle of her way to the gate. She had to board a connecting flight under a time crunch and this was unfair to leave her to walk. Other than that they had no complains about anything else.
Selected ovo lacto meal because I’m ok with milk products but not any meat. It was terrible. We had the same selection back in October when we had traveled and it was pretty good at that time. It was gross this time.
They downgraded me from premium economy to regular economy and me had 2 major lay over and had to have an emergency landing due to engine failure mid flight Don’t use them worst experience I have ever had still dealing with the trauma

Bad experience. Departure time delayed from 1610 to 1740. After the flight was pushed back, pilot said there was a technical issue on the aircraft and we couldn’t take off. Delayed another hour to solve it.
Flight crew was especially thoughtful and attentive, made sure our seats were comfortable so we could rest on the long flight

Terrible airline! This airline just ruined our family vacation due to a 12 hours delay as a result of their operational issues.
Over 6 hours delayed.. using philippine air fleet planes are beat up dirty and uncomfortable. Have been flying air asia for over 4 years from Manila to Tokyo and kansai as well as several local flights from Manila to Bacolod and Cebu.. 3 planes were down for maintenance and caused havoc.. need to invest in new fleet or seriously clean and upgrade the existing fleet. Will not be flying anymore until fixed. Several options out there now to choose from as air asia prices have skyrocketed.. no point in using them anymore . Severally upset passenger here. They can’t even manage the queuing of Zones for boarding as it’s a crab fest free for all now. No discipline and let the passengers in line to board just run into any lane possible.. and priority luggage?? Forget it I’ve paid for it for the last 6 flights and never got it first.. air asia has turned into a expensive joke.. use Cebu pacific or zip air now..
Our flight was canceled and then moved and delayed twice and we ended up leaving almost 11 hours after our schedule.
Nice n easy ride but if they extent flight to El nido instead of Puerto Princesa so have not go go through 5 hrs of windy road
The check in process was horrible. We were not advised that a Visa was required. And during check in, we were told that it was only going to cost $8.00 but was actually $88.00. The female agent who checked me in last minute also gave me attitude and said to me, “galit ka pa ba?” Almost as if it were my fault thst I was frustrated. I work in the airline industry and work for a US carrier where we advise passengers if possible documents needed for travel. Not only was this female agents attitude rude and unprofessional, but she was acting as if she didn’t care about anything or whether or not I got in the flight. She kept insisting that “I wait for an email showing that my K-ETA was approved, but had I waited for an email, I would’ve missed my flight. I will never again fly on this carrier, even if they cost the cheapest, because my experience with the front line customer facing employees was horrible. Im also going to make sure I share this experience with family and friends via social media and word of mouth.
No REFUND!!! My flight was delayed by 5 hours then 6 more hours making it unusable. No refunds!!!! They called it a minor delay. Because my connecting flight wasn't with kayak, no refund.
