Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "Flight attendant service is spot on, quick and most of all, very friendly!!"
Cons: "As for this particular flight, I wished they offered a premium economy class. It’s like your either rich or poor...economy or business class. To upgrade on this flight was $1850 each leg!!"
Pros: "Seat not comfortable but it was an airbus so that’s normal."
Cons: "Entertainment was unusable picture sounds skipping all over!"
Cons: "Improve food Better movies"
Cons: "Had to wait for wine with The food..."
Cons: "The seat was too old for flight service and should be replaced soon as possible and the crew serviced like a robot especially for men. This is my first time for eco class."
Pros: "- The check in and seating went smoothly. The sign w/ designated boarding seat numbers worked well. - Crew were helpful and professional."
Cons: "- Entertainment system may need to be upgraded. - Food was a hit and miss. Perhaps, providing more fruit rather than cake or pudding may help improve the experience."
Pros: "We landed safely. Ultimately, that’s all that matters."
Cons: "Thai seems to be the only major airline without a transit desk in DPS, so connecting passengers have to waste hours going through immigration and customs, checking in again, then going through security and immigration all over again. Flight was fine except for this waste of 2 hours standing in lines"
Pros: "The crew was so pleasant. They greeted everyone with grace and respect. Their customer service was wonderful."
Cons: "Everything was great. I will choose to fly Thai Airways whenever I get the chance to."
Pros: "Yes crew was very hosptile."
Pros: "Everything are very much poor. Worth than Vietnam airline.(coffee cup’s rim was broken It was very dangerous) I will naver on board Thai alway."
Cons: "Nothing better~"
Pros: "Crew was great, very polite and attentive."
Cons: "Give pillows to economy seat."
Pros: "Super friendly staff"
Cons: "Less films in German"
Cons: "The food selection. Pre-Packaged and snack from Bangkok in business class is a bad idea"
Pros: "The in-flight service is better than others."
Cons: "The check-in process at Heathrow is a chaos. I’m not sure who’s responsible, between the Airlines or the Airport. It sholuld arrange separate rows between those already check-in online and the others. I also saw the officials let some (1-5) group of (3-8) people each bypass the long queue, without reasons. The seat and leg space are so narrow that the direct 10+hour- flight is not so comfortable."
Pros: "Friendly staff and crew. Flight went as well as possible over the mountains from BKK to CNX."
Cons: "Took bus from gate to a different gate. Had to walk up three sets of stairs to walk on to a jet bridge that was connected to the main airport. In flight snack would have been better not consumed. No illness, just didn't sit too well."
Pros: "Entertainment, general comfort"
Cons: "Crew was not very attentive"
Pros: "For such a short 1 hour flight, they managed to feed an A330 plane load of people - pretty impressive feat considering that US carriers don’t even bother to give complimentary hot food on a cross country flight. The color scheme didn’t hurt either. The FA’s were very accommodating and so pleasant."
Pros: "They had good movie choices"
Cons: "The stewardesses, for the most part were rude, almost because they were lazy. I had one get pissed because I asked for oolong tea when she was offering coffee or hot tea. Well the cabin was so hot during the whole flight, I didn't want anything hot. She made it seem like she had to go out her way to get it for me. It was on her cart!!! They rarely walked around the cabin to make sure they couldn't get something for you or even take your trash. I held an empty cup during almost an entire movie. When I finally got up to toss it, I gave it to a stewardess who was standing right there by the closes curtain who acted like that it was beneath him to do so. They would rush up and down the isle and pretty much shove your meal on you. Ugh they were just rude. None of want to be there either, especially when it's so hot in the cabin and the seats were so narrow!!"
Pros: "Nothing! The plane left late and while waiting, the airco blastwd like a freezer. My feet and gands became numb and I got a terrible headache. Next, a chinese couple with a 1 year old toddler came to sit next to m: the child started wailing immediately and this lasted until 5 min before landing. It was like they had not a clue on how to handle a child and they had nothing to make it drink or suck or distract it. Worst flight in ages.."
Pros: "Baggage did not make connection to Phuket."
Cons: "Right from how rude the flight attendants are to how the ground staff can forget of something as basic as informing passengers that their flight has been delayed by 6 hours. Furthermore, the no one from the ground personnel to the flight crew have any answers to why passengers upon boarding their flight are kept waiting for an hour on the plane before actual take-off. While on flight, flight attendants initially refused to serve us food stating that we should've ordered in advance. This was NOT mentioned during booking & clearly stated that food would be served as complimentary as per any International flight. I've been flying international for the past 10 years & have never come across such an incompetent lot. This was our honeymoon trip to Thailand & we 'Thank' Thai Airways for ruining it. Will never ever make the mistake of flying with them. And will make sure our friends & family do the same."
Pros: "Great and friendly people, and was very nice. Great flight."
Cons: "In flight meal was ok. Other than the meal it was nice flight."
Pros: "Friendly crews."
Cons: "In-flight entertainment set not working."
Pros: "Ground agents were courteous and boarding was well-managed and quick"
Cons: "Difficult to converse with on-board crew who were not very well-versed in communicating in English. It is evident that the in-flight crew preferred conversing with passengers who could speak Thai. Seats were cramped and not enough leg-room. Very uncomfortable for a 6 hour flight Service crew adopted a "get water/juice from the galley trays yourselves". Having requested vegan/vegetarian food, the food options were limited and very bland. They lacked flavor and were not properly cooked. In-flight entertainment options was old and in-seat monitors were small."
Pros: "Although it’s a short one hour flight, a light snack was served."
Cons: "No announcement for boarding, people just line up to be boarded."
Pros: "We took off at 11.30 on time but only arrived at 3.45 pm. No idea why it took so long on the positive side: I saw my movie till the end and it was an excellent one"
Cons: "Special screenings in singapore of all luggage: took more than 1 hour to get out"
Pros: "Very nice crew Got free drinks and meal"
Cons: "Hard to see tv and watch movies with cabin lights on"
Cons: "Flight from koh samui to bkk cancelled and has to spend 2 hours on phone to arrange another flight. Catamaran gave me the wrong phone number for calling thai airways. Thai airways/vayama had originally booked me on another flight without confirming it would have been ok. Terrible in flight service especially on way back."
Pros: "Awesome flight with great deal from kayak and thai airways. Overall service was awesome and will definately try again"
Cons: "Outdated Entertrainment system... btw, no entertainment system... safety video had so many hiccups, need to restart multiple times. First flight which did not have either Pepsi or Coke products. Only carbonated drink available is spirite.. very disappointed. Crew was not friendly.. Even when the wish for entry or say bye, attitude and face they make towards Indian looking people was very unacceptable."
Pros: "I kept my appreciation of Thai friendliness easily as I flew home. I loved watching the documentary of the late king"
Cons: "The trip was long but that was my own issue of course"
Cons: "Guy was snoring like a wild animal."
Pros: "comfortable seats and good leg room"
Cons: "running out of food selection. Only lamb and fish available. Tried lamb but awful taste, so nothing eaten."
Pros: "Fast in flight service and good entertainment options for a short flight."
Cons: "Boarding was delayed about 30 minutes, but that happens with every airline from time to time."
Cons: "Unfortunately, the flight has Chinese tour groups. They are noisy and no manner. BTW, cabin crew handle them very well."
Pros: "Easy check-in, friendly, helpful attendants, on-time departure and arrival.."
Cons: "My seat back wouldn't lock in place. Every time I would move or lean, the seat back would shift. My phone and book wouldn't stay in the pocket in front of me. They would fall out of the bottom and onto the floor. I love Thai food, but food on the flight was not good at all; bland and unappetizing. My foot became pinched hard against the food cart during meal service."
Cons: "My sister died and I wanted to change the date of my ticket and Thai would not cooperate at all, on the other hand Delta changes all my tickets so I could return to the states with no additional fees. Thai said economy call was full on my requested change date but they had Business Class tickets available, and I ask if I could apply the cost of my economy ticket amount to the Business Class ticket and they said no, that I could only purchase a new Business Class ticket. Real accommodating when you have an emergency."
Pros: "All went smoothly from checkin to service aboard to our departure with beautifully groomed Thai Airways personnel."
Pros: "Courteous staff at the counter and aboard."
Pros: "good service, good food"
Cons: "seats are getting older."
Pros: "Friendliness of staff. Luckily the flight was over after a bit more than 2 hours."
Cons: "Two hours delay without any explanation and heads-up! Lounge Internet not working! Boarding via bus who had to search plane and then dumped all passengers to walk up stairs to the finger dock! Entertainment system in my row not working at all (btw reboot takes 10-15 minutes)! And as highlight: Durian ice cream!"
Cons: "Long baggage wait time"
Pros: "Food, comfort and Thai cinema"
Cons: "Wish the food choices reflected Thai cuisine."
Pros: "friendly, thorough service, and entertainment. A comfortable trip."
Cons: "Better food"
Pros: "good aircraft. spacious economy as compared to most airlines."
Cons: "Food needs to improve big time. international cuisine can be a lot better. Not at par with other international airlines."
Pros: "Friendly good service."
Cons: "get your drinks yourselves which is difficult when are sitting in the middle seat."
Pros: "Being offered menu from Business Class despite I am flying in Economy Class. However, just a minor complaint on the seat condition which is pretty hard and the front pocket is torn."
