Atleast make arrangements for bad situations, apparently I was booked on another flight but they made me stand in a 4 hour long queue to find that out. Kiosk outside showed I was put in no flight. One of my worst experiences and rest assured if I’m given a chance I will never choose Lufthansa again.

I was pleased to find my luggage in Athens as Lufthansa was the only airline that in the past twice had misplaced my luggage and had to wait for one day to get them. 3. The flight arrived at the scheduled time and going through the airport , security to my connection was especially easy. 4. The sandwiches also at the airport were tasty.

As I was waiting for the dinner to be served it took more time and I felt asleep watching a bad movie, so I missed dinner when I finally woke up. This is the reason I have no opinion about the food. My sole complaint is about the general practice in all airlines that they serve first the slim minority that does not eat meat. Democracy means that the majority should be served first. Unless the airlines consider the vegetarians as some kind of sick people! 2. The crew didn't offered us enough liquids during the flight and the excuse that they didn't wish to disturb our sleep is too lame.
Pros: My flight from Budapest took off hour later then scheduled. We landed in Munich only ten minutes before the international flight's take off to San Francisco. Upon the Munich landing, eight of us were escorted on a special bus, with a special pass controll and on special routs to make sure we get on the plane on time. Our laggage managed to get on the same plane as well. Thank you Lufthansa!

Cons: The plane was half way full, i had the seat in the economy section same like a big guy, at one point i asked the flight attendant if i can change my seat to another economy seat (I didn't want a free upgrade) because the guy in my right could fit in his seat with the arm rest down and it was getting uncomfortable for me. She told me if i want a upgrade, witch I refuse to get and didn't help me in any way with the problem that i had. I think for cases like this even though it's an economy seat it still cost 750$ and for a 9h flight witch transformed in a 14h flight because weather condition and fueling problems, flight attendants should be more mindful with the guest confort rather than upselling. Lufthansa it's a geat company with great airplanes but i think that in order to get people to come back you should treat people in the economy class like normal people that pay a price nothing close to the word economy

Cons: Boarding is always a nightmare. First class, and the high flyers are called first. Then premium economy, then economy. A mad rush of people scramble down 2 flights of stairs, then are crammed on a tandem bus that drives out to the plane. You then cross the Tarmac in all types of weather to board. This flight boarded from front and back. Making finding your seat a nightmare as people were traveling in both directions in the aisles. You would think you were in a third world country.

Cons: I took Lufthansa round-trip from the US to Italy. One of the worst long-trip flying experiences I've had. Bad airplanes, with even smaller seats than US carriers, terrible service (attendants were not friendly or pleasant), terrible food. On one of the long flights, the cabin temperature was 75F and passengers were perspiring the whole flight. I will not take Lufthansa again.

Pros: We are extremely grateful to Lufthansa and Munich airport administration for organization of the transfer between connected flights wit a short connection time. We have had only 40 minutes transfer time between flights from Budapest and to Washington DC, and started to worry that we may not make it since the boarding was in the opposite part of the waste airport. So, it was a great relief when we saw the airport representative meeting us at the exit from Budapest plane to lead toward the Washington DC flight gate. In 30 minutes we were in our plane to continue flight to the US. Thank you so much!

The cabin temperature was set very high (~75f or higher) the entire flight without any individual vents for airflow, so that many passengers were uncomfortable and sweating during the flight. The food provided was poor quality (for the meal, I chose chicken which was boiled pieces of chicken without any flavor - I feed my cats better!). I will try and avoid flying this airline in the future at all costs.

For the return flight I had cancelled the vegetarian meal, but then on the flight they brought it to me. I indicated that I had cancelled the vegetarian meal about a week earlier, but they did not have enough meals to give me something different. This was a disappointment. This meal too was largely carbohydrate of a refined nature.

Boarding took extra long as Crew wasn't ready yet, flight was an hour late in arriving, making it an exhausting 11.5 hr ordeal. Main issue: raging male passenger who screamed at Crew and other passengers for several hours and in effect held us in fear as very young and entirely female crew had trouble diffusing his anger. Seriously thought we were going to have to make a stop to get this guy removed from the plane. What was he so aggressive about? Not having a cradle for his baby. There were many other passengers w infants and he accosted the crew and the couple that did have the bassinet aggressively over and over again. Horrible.
