Good flight quick and easy
First class was terrible! It began with the customer service agent at the boarding gate taking being completely rude to the first class customers waiting to board. She/he (it was difficult to tell if it was a man or woman) yelled at everyone and said “it doesn’t take a genius to understand that only military or people with special needs may board, my god!!!” I’ve never seen such unprofessionalism from Delta. Then my husband and I went to our seats in first class and the flight attendant had left their paperwork and folders on our seats. I waited for a while to see if he would pick it up. He did not, so I picked it up and handed it to him. He then replied “oh we’re going to put you to work and pass out the agriculture forms”. When it came time for the meal he stated “we only have kale salad so do you want it or not?” My husband replied,” no I don’t like kale”. The flight attendant then replies “okay you don’t want it because that’s all we have”. My husband was seated in 1A, how do they have only one choice remaining out of the 3 when he’s in the first seat?? The flight attendant was very rude! As a loyal Delta customer, I was absolutely appalled at the unprofessional behavior from both customer service agents and first class flight attendant! I have to say that I will think twice before booking my next flight (next month) on Delta due to this experience.
Worst trip ever! Not to mention the 3 1/2 hour delay. Flight attendants were unprofessional and even though I was seated in comfort class only offered to move me further to the rear of the plane to enjoy the onboard movies. Will never fly Delta again!😫😖😤

Cons: "The only hiccup was the wait time on the runway before take off. Not sure if that was the airport’s fault or the airline’s fault. We must have waited 45 minutes."

I had a malfunctioning chair that kept automatically going from recline to fully erect and the footrest next quite functioned properly.
The flight entertainment/WiFi didn’t work that well.
Boarding process in Chicago was a mess. They didn't seem to be following the group numbers so everyone just boarded whenever. Flight landed 30 minutes early which was great, but then it took nearly 45 minutes before we got off the plane because there were issues with the jet bridge.
Flight cancelled and no other flights available till afternoon next day
The first-class flight attendant from LIT to Mia was very professional and a nice older experience attedent .

However I missed my connecting flights and had to be put up when I got back to the States. Despite getting in at 10pm I was put on a 5am flight."

Pros: "Once I managed to get to my connecting terminal which was an adventure in itself, the original plane we were to fly on was having maintenance issues. The ground crew worked quickly to get a different plane and moved us to an adjoining terminal."
Cons: "LAX. The airport is just a pain with long lines for everything, although staff try very hard to help you get where you need to be"

I missed my flight because even though I got to LAX two hours before the flight, I had to wait on the baggage check for two and a half hours. The attendants were texting and talking and not servicing the passengers. When I told American attendants and supervisors that I was going to miss my flight unless they got me through they were clueless and didn't care about me or any of the passengers. The entire American staff were the most disorganized and careless flight personnel I have ever seen. Them they put me on a standby flight, where I was number eight and five minutes later was number eighteen, so I missed that, too. My wife is one of the top Public Relations people in Los Angeles and we both have tweeted and posted on social media extensively about this horrendous experience. I require a full refund from American Airlines for my airfare, and if I don't receive it from you will take you to court. --Eric Red"
Cons: "Boarding was slow. Flight to Chicago which was at the same gate took way too long to board. Could not figure out the problem. Took WAY too long to get wheelchairs to unload passengers off the plane that was to take us to Dallas. Sat on the tarmac for additional 20 min. Delay cost me an additional 2 1/2 hours later in Dallas and FIVE hours in London airport!!"

He shouted at me after I had handed in my ticket and started down the gangway that my purse needed to be in my backpack. I have never heard of such a thing in all my years of travel. I complied and started to put my purse into my backpack when he shouted at me "Ms. Derbyshire get back here now! You cannot be past the counter!" Your employee was rude, hostile and made me very upset as well as the other passengers waiting to board. Later other passengers who witnessed the event told me how upset they were. Sadly this is not the first time I have had issues with United. Clearly this type of behavior is in your culture. There is no need to shout at anyone."

Cons: "While happy to have pilots concerned about my safety, it was frustrating to suffer thru 2 different mechanical delays. The first one was a missing rivet - which turned out to be so bad they had to put Us in a different plane. Then, that plane developed some mechanical/software issues as we were taxing. My 3-hour flight turned into a +5.5 HR endeavor. When you are on 2 broken planes in a row with the same airline you start to to wonder about how well they are maintaining their equipment. I feel like I deserve more than a "sorry" for the use of my extra time, but no credit or flight certificate was forthcoming."

She was flying alone and should have received top priority and been one of the first called up to figure out how to get her to her destination. But that did not happen. She didn't know what to do at first then got in the long line of people and waited her turn. ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT HER ONLY OPTION WAS TO FLY OUT ON A LATER FLIGHT TO HOUSTON WHICH WOULD MAKE HER MISS HER CONNECTING FLIGHT ANT THEN STAY THE NIGHT ALONE IN HOUSTON AND WAIT THE ENTIRE NEXT DAY THERE UNTIL 9 THE NEXT NIGHT TO CATCH HER FINAL FLIGHT TO SALT LAKE CITY. I cannot even explain how angry and horrified I was that your airline thought that was acceptable for an unaccompanied minor! Clearly this one option that was offered to her by you was not accepted. Then she calls and a guy tells her he can get her there and is going to book her new flights.....only to get disconnected and never called her back. After that there was no one to be found at the desks for your airline. At this point I had driven back to the airport (spent hours driving and waiting) when a wonderful lady from a different airline helped my daughter out and got her on a different airline. However she had to check her bag due to her seating after all the hard work she put in to not checking her bag."

I specifically asked on the phone to be moved to an American Airlines flight later that day, and was told that flight would be cancelled. Drove to the airport because I didn't understand how both the flights were cancelled with perfect weather in the departure and destination cities. The people at the airport moved us to the American flight that I was previously told was cancelled. Would have been much easier to do over the phone, but I was lied to on the phone."
