Cons: "Flight was canceled. Ruined my plans and reason for flying."
Pros: "All excellent service. Staff in New Bern were very helpful and competent."
Cons: "Nothing I can think of"
Pros: "It was changed from British Air to American Air, which would have been my last choice to fly with. Bad choice!!!!!"
Cons: "No American Airlines! I have trouble with them every time I have used them. Usually their plane breaks down or requires maintenance, which happened again this trip. It made use have to run from customs to the other end of the airport in 10 minutes to make the connection ."
Pros: "The Crew was great. Very courteous and respectful."
Cons: "Better communication. Flight was delayed but passengers were not notified right away. We were notified after we were supposed to have boarded already."
Cons: "New AA internet is NOT good. Much prefer GoGo. Otherwise a great flight."
Cons: "No headphones and wifi was impossible"
Pros: "Pleasant flight crew!!"
Pros: "flight took off exactly on time & arrived on time"
Pros: "The food and the snack was pretty good"
Cons: "I paid $20 for the 24 hours of Wi-Fi and it never worked On either flight. The guy sitting in the seat behind me kept putting his knees into the back of the seat to prevent me from reclining so that his girlfriend could sleep with her head in his lap, so I could not recline in sleep on the long flight from Munich to Philadelphia. I don't have any of these issues when I fly on United. If you want me to fly on American more than I suggest you fixed them."
Pros: "Everything on time."
Cons: "It was a short flight so the A/C didn't affect my throat."
Pros: "First class seating comfort and service. Even my flight in the main cabin was relatively comfortable, but I'm a smaller stature person so... On time promise kept every flight."
Cons: "Extreme noise from the plane at certain times (mostly takeoff which can't be helped, I guess) Sitting in the first row of first class you get the light from the flight attendant kitchen area right in your face (Seat 1A-3A specifically)"
Pros: "The plane looks like new. Great seats, phone and tablet holders at the seat back, USB outlet and a smooth flight."
Cons: "The WiFi did not work and so no entertainment for a flight of almost 4 hours."
Cons: "Seats were too narrow and distance between sets is too small"
Pros: "I was lucky enough to have some really sweet flight attendants and was surprised (though maybe I shouldn't be) that we got a small meal."
Cons: "The economy class seats are just so uncomfortable and as soon as someone puts their seat back it is difficult to see the screen in front of you without putting your seat back as well. I suppose there are worse airlines..."
Cons: "I didn't like having someone put a red tag on my carry on for valet when it didn't have to be taken. I would have rather kept it near me!"
Cons: "The cabin heat was way too high, I actually was sweating. Boarding took 35 minutes"
Pros: "Seats were surprisingly comfortable"
Cons: "Space on coach seats was awful."
Pros: "I usually fly Air France but AA was terrific. Tasty food, pleasant crew, even the toilets were nicely maintained during the 9 hours flight. The only thing that AF does better is provide a full array of printed matter before boarding."
Pros: "On time, good service."
Pros: "Speedy boarding, friendly crew."
Cons: "Seats are definitely cramped."
Cons: "Inadequate overhead baggage space."
Pros: "The seats were comfortable and the food was very good!we left over two hours after the scheduled departure time."
Cons: "I did not like having to wait to depart."
Pros: "Half the crew was decent making up for the other half. The Asian and Hispanic woman did a great job."
Cons: "No ability to do online checkin both websites were not working. Keep the kiosks but have those helpers be able to jump behind counter to help with checkin."
Pros: "Left on time"
Cons: "Some glitch said the flight was delayed, when it wasn't. Good thing I checked with the Check In Counter."
Pros: "I like the service, how they were polite to me, and made me feel welcome."
Cons: "The check in process at JFK was a disaster. The kiosk check in machines were constantly malfunctioning, where to line up was unclear, and staff acted frustrated. After several failed attempts with the kiosks you have to wait in line to check in at the counter anyways. It would have saved almost an hour of my time to just go straight to the counter-- had I been allowed to. I wanted to check a bag which contained some fragile items. Several bottles of wine which I wrapped in bubble wrap and cushioned with my packed clothes. I requested a "Fragile" sticker to be put on my bag. I was told "We don't do that here". So I asked if they handle ALL bags with extreme care and I was laughed at and told to go on my way. When I got my bag at my destination-- the outside of my leather suitcase was sliced to the lining. There were scuff marks and torn leather. My wine had been completely shattered. Not just a crack in the bottle, but flattened completely. My clothes were stained, my bag ruined. I don't know if putting a fragile sticker on would have prevented this, but I don't understand why they just "don't do that". We are trusting our property to the airline when we check bags. I will never trust American Airlines ever again. They don't want to know if I have anything fragile, and they don't care when I tell them."
Cons: "Missed this connection"
Pros: "Food service was nice. Thank you."
Cons: "The plane felt very old. Long overseas flights without personal entertainment systems can be tough because you're stuck watching bad films with inferior sound quality. When you can't sleep it makes the ride so long. Also, the bathroom midcabin was very insecure. One wall was DISCONNECTED from the floor!"
Pros: "That I arrived to my destination alive."
Cons: "It was my first time taking Virgin America and I didn't know movies weren't free. I used to travel a lot and I've never had to pay for movies. I ended up watching 12 episodes of Big Bang Theory because it was the only free thing to watch that wasn't LinkedIn videos or Disney, which really sucked. Comfort level wasn't any better than any of the other airlines and service was the same as well. I've heard good things about Virgin but my experience was just mediocre."
Cons: "Because our first flight was delayed so much, we missed our connecting flight and our rebooked connecting flight (made while on the phone while waiting for several hours on the tarmac) and didn't make it to our final destination until the morning of 6/23 (first flight was 6/21 and was supposed to arrive morning of 6/22). Spent the night in JFK."
Pros: "Crew we're phenomenal"
Cons: "Great flight and crew baggage claim at Philly needs work"
Cons: "Missed connecting flight because they left late out of our origin location. We were only 2 min late but they closed the door eventhough they knew the previous flight had landed and we were on our way to the flight."
Pros: "I did like that the flight attendant checked my bag for me land was very forth coming on tips on how to save money with traveling. The fights we very smooth."
Cons: "I didn't like that airport staff didn't alert when the plane was leaving (no announcement was made and staff gave wrong information, I ended up"
Pros: "Crew was friendly and made my travel pleasant"
Pros: "On time arrival"
Cons: "Everything else"
Pros: "The attention great. The time was OK, the assistant for my mom great, easy for her to go through the airport was excellent."
Cons: "The waiting on the terminal for the wheelchair assistance, when you get home you want to onboard fast. But it was ok. a little impatience."
Cons: "Because it was a day later!!!"
Pros: "cabin crew was nice and friendly. Very smooth and experienced pilot, nice take off and landings both ways."
Cons: "This was supposed to be an Iberia flight, but with code share nothing is as it seems. (Had to cancel previous flight on Scandinavian air as that turned into some Turkish Charter). These old birds were 30 years old, out of Arizona desert storage...former TWA, so no entertainment or power or anything. And, AA re-confirmation showed flight and ticket canceled! Said Iberia flight, Iberia said AA flight...yikes! Serious glitches and lost data...locator number erased! You see why I tried to take a foreign carrier."
Cons: "No entertainment"
Pros: "short flight so I would not expect any particular issues."
Pros: "The movie selection and how often we were given beverages."
Cons: "I was selected for a random inspection. I was pulled aside and went through a separate check in process. I completed everything I was instructed to do and as I'm boarding, I'm pulled aside and told I needed to go back to pre clearance because someone forgot to punch a hole in my boarding pass. The stewardess and j had to run all the way back to security so I could go through the whole process again. I delayed the flight and everyone was upset. It was completely unnecessary. Simply because one employee didn't do their job, I delayed a transatlantic flight to Chicago. Best part, I arrived at the airport four hours before my flight. Also, the seats are incredibly uncomfortable. And I was separated from my traveling companion for this entire process. Had I missed the flight, she would never have known."
Pros: "I made it safe to the mainland"
Cons: "We had some Change of plans and we're going to just get off in Phoenix and not take it straight to San Diego, we called American they said no big deal they would ticket our bags to Phoenix, got to the airport and the American Airlines gal stated in no way shape or form could they do that, I tried explaining the whole situation and her response always ended in 'and your bags will be in San Diego'. By the grace of God we were able to cram two checked bags worth of stuff into our carry ons which I still do not know how we did that, and were fine. On the flight we had a decently nice lady and a horrible male. When passing out drinks he seemed almost irritated that we had asked for water and rudely gave it to us which was room temperature. He totally skipped the lady in the row with us and got irritated when she asked for a water as well."
