The gate attendant was the nicest human ever. I heard her interactions with passengers and she was so customer service oriented. She stood out among everyone we encountered and I wish I could give you her name. Otherwise the flight was on time and that was most important.
Internationally traversing should be seamless but picking up my luggage and having to re-check my bags
They moved my seat and then they asked me to sit in the back to balance the plane. I know I didn’t pay for seat selection but I don’t want to be a ping pong ball.
These types of planes have very small overheads bins. If you are not one of the first 25 on board, your folly bag goes gate checked.

For the past few years, I have been purchasing 1st class for it's spaciousness. On this flight, on the RCJ700, I did not fly comfortably. The space was very tight, and I was able to stretch my legs as if I sat in economy. This was by far, my most uncomfortable flight ever. SMH; A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!"

Usually when I fly AA, the headrest is adjustable. My final dislike was that the beverage selection was limited. I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

Once on the plane, the crew were there for No help, our kids wanted to drink water so they said there is cold water in a bottle for sale at 3 euros but as we asked for regular water with ice, they gave us warm water and said they had no ice. what a heck? the official Austrian airline company that was giving water with no ice? my kids wanted the regular pretzels given away in aircraft fares we have been in, and Austrian airlines did not have anything free, everything was for sale. With that experience, we will NEVER take Austrian airlines ever in our lives and will tell everyone we know about this disappointing experience. Even the cheapest companies like EasyJet had better services.

Cons: "Delayed 5.5 hours at LAX. Boarded on time, waited at gate for 1.5 hours and then had to get off. During our delay waiting for a 1st Officer, the Captain times out. NO BACKUP CAPTAINS or 1st OFFICERS AT LAX? Then miraculously during our 3rd hour waiting for a Captain they discovered the 1st Officer was going to time out. So, rather than KNOW this while searching for a Captain, they waited for 3 hours and then had to find a 1st Officer to fill in. Result 2.5 more hours of delay. Even the Flight crew was in disbelief on this one. I think we should all get reimbursed and triple miles for this snafu. Not weather or mechanical - just poorly managed time -- BY A MAJOR AIRLINE - INEXCUSABLE!"

Cons: "- Rather uncomfortable seats and minimal leg room for a 5'11'' / 180 lbs passenger - Flight attendants were superficial (continuously overlooked / ignored me on the service cycles), I was seated on the window."

Pros: "It served the function of crossing the ocean. The crew was kind."
Cons: "The airplane was outdated. It did not have personal entertainment suites at each seat. I haven't flown across the ocean without being able to choose my own movie in 3 years. Also, because of the outdated entertainment suite, the headphone jack is located in the armrest to the side instead of in the seat back in front of you. This caused me to bend my 3.5mm headphone connection at one point while I was moving my leg, because the connection jack is located below thigh level. The temperature was unbearable, and could not be controlled by the flight crew. Dressed for winter weather and roasted for the entire flight. I actually was dehydrated when we landed because I was sweating for 7 hours crossing the ocean."

Because I booked through Kayak and not directly with the airline, we had the worst possible travel experiences both coming and going to Europe. Neither American Airlines nor British Airways were very helpful either. It has been a catastrophic experience. Delayed flight, rebooked to Portugal, lost luggage, couldn't check in online, couldn't buy baggage except at airport, could.nit get on connecting flight on way home, had to leave airport and come back in to checking for connecting flight home, etc. Never would have happened if I had booked directly with airline. Will never use Kayak again.
Flight was canceled with no explanation
Great crew, very comfortable aircraft. No in-flight entertainment but for short flights it’s not needed. Only not excellent because of a 30 minute delay
Food was better than expected, we got dinner and breakfast in a flight from DC-London.
There was a child that was crying a lot at first, so it was minorly annoying, but I'm sure that's out of their control, so that's fine. The first meal (chicken pot pie) was good, but the others (wrap and sandwich) were just kind of okay. I liked the meals going from SFO to London more.

Cons: "It was awful as to how uncomfortable the business class seats were. The seats were narrow and not much personal space. I would never pay to sit in business class on NA 3ver again."

Pros: "I left my laptop behind accidentally in the hand luggage space as I had to separate my hand luggage due to other seats nearby who boarded earlier used the space over my seating row. BA crew found my laptop and the swiss lost property retrieved it for me. Very thankful for their honesty"
Cons: "My seating was directly behind a curtain and partition to business class, therefore my seating space was very limited and squashed. No refreshments unless you paid??? why?? I would expect this from companies such as Easyjet or Virgin, but not BA. Even Qantas provided a light refreshment for short runs, say between Canberra and Sydney (Im an aussie)"

Cons: "The flight was delayed by an hour, meaning we arrived at almost midnight and for me and a few other people their electronic boarding passes did not work properly I was refused at the departures gate and told to go to the British airways counter to get a paper boarding pass printed out. I also saw some other people with British airways electronic boarding passes having similar problems."

BA stand for Beyond Awful It is now a budget airline that makes Ryanair look great! Not even an in flight magazine it is simply a skeleton of its former self, the Spaniard has destroyed it Would never travel British Airways again"

Cons: "When I reached the boarding gate, the attendant took my boarding pass as if he was checking something and changed my seat without asking me, issued me a new boarding pass... no explanation. I had a long flight to London from Delhi already so I was too tired to immediately realize what he had done. It only occurred to me when I boarded the flight. I had booked a premium seat in advance and had paid $175 extra for it. He basically moved me to a regular economy seat at the back without asking me or refunding me. That's fraud."

Pros: "Flew London to Luxembourg. The menu had a good selection of (cheap!) food. I ordered a sandwich which was surprisingly delicious. Crew was helpful and attentive. No entertainment, but a moving map was provided."
Cons: "No food was provided for free in economy class although we were flying during a typical meal time (11-1:30) American debit card didn't work paying for food, but credit card did"
Pros: "There was nothing to like except for the customer service skills of the cabin supervisor who profusely apologised for BA."
Cons: "At the airport, we were told that we did not have seats together as te flight was oversold. Strange as we had a six year old traveling with us. After much discussion, they gave two seats in the economy plus for me and the child but down graded child's mom to economy. We were told that someone from BA will contact us but it has been 10 days and no call or email. BA doesn't care and is just like all other airlines."

Pros: "The crew were ALL super friendly. My first time on a flight were ALL the stewards were polite, kind and helpful. Usually there's just one, if any. However they were all so friendly and accommodating."

Cons: "The fact that your site did not let us check in online. What was the reason? At the airport the staff said no aisle seat available when in fact the seat next to me was vacant. Your rude staff put someone in that seat from some other part of aircraft and told me I could not sit there very rudely. Please teach them customer service and not to be selective in their treatment of passengers."
Pros: "The layout of the plane. 2x3x2 across the economy section. It was a really fast flight for a plane traveling east to west. The cabin crew were very pleasant. We loved that we could get a flight from Manchester to the US, but found the Manchester airport staff very officious. We also had a problem with the AA bag drop. We had checked in and all we had to do was drop off the bags, but the one staff person designated to handle this had a computer problem. The check in lanes were moving along fine. It took too long for the staff at the desk to add another bag drop lane."
Cons: "It was an older plane and the TV monitors were above head and down the center. There was no choice and from my seat it was hard to see the monitor. The food choice became vegetarian curry only by the time the flight attendant reach us."
Pros: "The crew was very nice and accomodating given the delays and the change of planes"
Cons: "The plane was delayed an hour and a half. They had to change the gate twice. The worst part was the plane. The original plane had a problem and they replaced it with a tiny everyday commercial jet for a 7 hour flight. It was extremely uncomfortable and I felt like I got a bit robbed because of how expensive the flight was."
