At no point was there a gate change announcement overhead (there were gate change announcements made for flights to Bermuda, Boston and San Francisco). During the boarding process many people stood and went in before their group was called, one agent noticed it and told the agent checking the boarding passes “all of these people are group A?” To which the other agent replied: “no, but I can’t do anything about it”. If there are group assignments, they need to honor that, as some people pay to board earlier."

Ground crew disorganized feeding us excuses of weather (wx) which initially was a landing gear problem for first 1.5 hr delay then again WX and ATC not assigning a route(while other airlines departing no problem) then crew timed out then no plane & again waiting for crew...Seriously? What a management!!! Reading comments below this keeps repeating however this was about 13 hours delay. This company should quit!"

The company rerouted a different plane to take us since ours was going to be so late, turning a 2 1/2 hr delay into just a 1 hr delay. Boarding was super efficient, in flight service excellent. They comped us our headphones because of the delay, a nice touch. This is my 3rd great customer service experience with JB in as many months (the other 2 involved waiving charges to change flights, once gor me when I was suddenly ill, and for my cousin, when a changed circumstance made her need to travel on a different day, alone with 4 kids). Between Kayak and JetBlue app I got very frequent updates on flight status, but gate staff also were there and informed us in person."

When we landed, we had to wait for everyone to get off the plane to be able to go back to those bins. And someone had already exited the plane with my husband’s suitcase. Their suitcase was left. We spent an hour with Suitcase Services, but could not find out who took my husband’s suitcase. (No ID inside theirs) I recommend that you board lower numbered rows first so that people in the back rows don’t take the front bins!"

"For a delayed flight, and one that most choose because of the amenities, no one apologized for the lack of amenities. A simple, “we are truly sorry” announced to everyone would have gone miles. Instead, the crew kept trying to almost conceal the total lack of available entertainment and even feign like it might “sort of work” until the last minute. I was traveling with my life partner, who intended upon and did work the whole flight (despite zero internet, even for the little time avail that we are aware of when traveling to/from PR), but also with a just turned 6 year old who had been looking forward to using “his own” screen for the last 2 weeks. Underwhelming to say the least. The crew’s apathy didn’t help."

American Airlines is too big and consolidation of airlines has not been good for the public."

Cons: "the airplane was absolutely freezing. It was so cold, you could actually see the air blowing (like in winter). There's no need for that. Somehow European airlines manage not to freeze out all their passengers. It was less than a two hour flight but felt like an eternity because it was so uncomfortable. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people."

My bag fit the meassurements and still was forced to check it (which I did not want to do as I did not want to be waiting an hour for my bag at my arrival as I had work early the next day. In addition there was airplaine traffic as it was "rush hour" instead of flying at 7:45 we departed almost at 9pm!!!! Have to pay for food Quality of tv monitors very poor And in an uncomfortable position No movie options No wifi although stated the aircraft has Non functioning electrical plug"

My fight from San Juan to Miami on Friday Oct. 7 was cancelled because of hurricane Matthews, since I didnot buy a roundtrip with AA they did not reimburse or offer me a credit for my returning flight. I contacted AA in two ocassions and both times their personnel were impersonal and even rude to me with the whole situation. I ended up losing $250 because of choosing American Airlines. I will do my best to avoid traveling with American ever again, and I will spread the word, as well. I felt robbed, so unfair."

Spoke with the Supervisor Ralph who stated it was against policy. How stringent is this policy if it was waived seven times previously? Policy needs to be reviewed with entire staff. I will no longer use American Airlines because their military convenience and policies no longer seem to favor the military. My husband also after speaking with him will also no longer use your airline including all his members he overseas when they return after their year tour."

Cons: "I thought I was booking an Alaska Airlines flight. I booked on Alaska Airlines website. I picked seats. I missed the part in the email I received later saying I didn't have seats. I never received a check in notification email. It took forever to check in at the airport because the the kiosk took a while to pull up my reservation after asking for additional information. I got stuck with middle seats on 5 hour plus flights when I had actually checked to confirm I could still select a window seat before I booked and did indeed select window seats when I booked."

"The only thing I liked was the care of the flight crew. One of us is a disabled passenger and they didn't give special consideration for someone who is disabled and couldn't walk to the gate nor to the seat. Our seats were in the REAR of the plane. That's no place for a disabled person. Not even a window seat. Lack of communication to the special service assistants for a request of an aisle wheelchair to get to the seat. The flight was delayed and we were sitting in the plane for over an hour to wait to exit the plane. We were informed there was lack of staff at Orlando International Airport for Frontier Airlines, and we had to wait for other staff to come from another gate to get us off the plane and get bags to baggage claim. We were waiting in Baggage Claim to retrieve our bags for over 30 minutes."

Because I ate, ran a long distance with two bags in my arms, out of shape, and purging the food after long strenuous attempt to get on the plane, I make it. They then escort me off. They just rebook my flight. No compensation for even my taxi that I had to take now 3 times to the air port. Unbelievable."

Cons: "TSA precheck. My reservation indicated it was entered, but it didn't print on the ticket. When I brought this to the attention of Spirit CSRs, The answer was "Yeah, sometimes it does that." Unacceptable. TSA precheck is a convenience for passengers and, more importantly, an added level of security for TSA personnel. Prechecked passengers have already been background screened. These passengers are known safe entities in an uncertain security environment. Each person prechecked is one less security threat TSA needs to assess, meaning TSA can focus more effort on potential threats. Denying a precheck customer precheck status makes everyone's life more difficult. Fix your system, then train employees on how to appropriately deal with these issues."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed and we missed the connection even though we were told that the connecting flight was waiting for us. The only options provided were to wait until Tuesday (it was Sunday) without a Hotel or to receive a reimbursement and find another flight by our own. We had to buy a ticket from another airline. The reimbursement received was not even half of the amount paid or the price for one way ticket to that destination. We received a $50 voucher that expires in 2 months. No one from that flight wants to travel ever again with Spirit. Customer service was awful."
Cons: "I was running late because I got out of work late and then there was unusually terrible traffic from DC to Baltimore mid-day. The website wouldn't work to check in, the phone line had a 2 hour wait.. so I got to the airport 45 minutes before the flight was supposed to leave and I couldn't check in at the kiosk. By the time I waited in line, they wouldn't check me in with 30 minutes before the flight left, even though it was mid day so the security lines were short and I had TSA pre-check. The customer service agent, the manager and the manager's supervisor were all rude and unhelpful. The only flight was the next day, so they wouldn't re-book on any other airline.. so I was left to go buy another ticket from American as I had to be in Minneapolis that night. I don't recommend Spirit out of Baltimore to anyone."

Flight was supposed to get in originally 8:15, than with the delay 8:45 .... and they said that it was canceled because of a flight curfew . Which is a lie because the curfew is 11:30 at not and you can still even fly the airline may be subject to penalty if repeat offender . So spirit canceled a full flight for no reason , leaving the only alternative to be a 12 hour flight the next day ."

These amounts should not have been taken out for a refund when the airline is at fault and after some hassle, they refunded the full amount. -When you value your time, do not fly Spirit."

Reimburse the passengers for the total loss of time and hardships experienced for the very long delays."

We had boarding passed and had already paid for our luggage, Then she said we were supposed to be on the other line. She moved us to a very long line. I kept telling employees that our departure time was in about an hour and they kept saying we were in time. WE arrived at the gate 8 minutes before closing the doors. My luggage did not make it in time to the airplane and stayed behind in FLL. I blame those employees that did not inform us properly and to the lack of informative signs around the Spirit counters. This will be my last Spirit flight. The $40 charged per bag is too much and the carry-on sizes are too small."

Myers to grab a quick bite to eat and upon returning to same plane with printed boarding passes and assigned seats our boarding passes did not scan correctly. At this time there was about 30 or so people behind us to board as there was plenty of time. We were asked to step aside and a employee was trying to figure things out. In the meantime ALL people in line were allowed on plane even though several had problems but were quickly fixed! At last second we were told to board the plane and try to find two seats. Only one was left on flight and we were told they had to leave and sorry but we must exit plane! Worst I have ever been treated by an airline ever in all my years of travel! I did get some money compensation, rented a car and drove 13 hours to Chicago! Awful way to end a vacation!"

There was nowhere to plug into power so my iPhone (a backup for movies) died hours before we landed. Lastly, I was called to help assist a passenger who had fainted (I'm a doctor) and was offered nothing in return for my help. Not even a soda. I didn't offer to help in hopes of "free stuff," but the other airlines I have flown with have offered me a drink, some food, or even $ off my next flight as a thank you for my medical services."
Pros: "Totally so mad at check in on line 24 hours ahead of time - found out one piece of checked bags is $40, a carry on was another $20 and seat assignement was yet another fee. All this after buying a ticket! We had no idea there were so many other fees. The airport was was out of our way and we only booked the flight because the fare was lower. When we found at AT CHECK IN, 24 hours ahead of time about all the extr fees, we rebooked on another airline and said forget this airline, what a rip off! Never again will book this airline with all those hidden fees. It was excessive and not mentioned till check in. Bad business model!!"

There were just too few attendants working for how many customers needed to check bags or check in. Additionally, the seats were super small-- we were packed in like sardines. No amount of finagling or shifting would prevent me from touching either of my neighbors, even though I paid for extra leg room. And then you wanted to CHARGE for a CUP OF WATER. Not even a full bottle! I'm surprised you didn't charge for ice! All in all, I'm very disappointed. Won't be taking Spirit again."

Cons: "This was my worst experience ever with an airline! I have flown with them previously so I know about the bag fees, etc., but I did not realize thus was a self-service airline! There is is no customer service. My flight was to depart at 6am and we boarded the plane , but were informed that there was no pilot/copilot so we all had to de-board and wait for one. First they said 9:00, then 10 and then 10:45. I asked about my connecting flight and was told to go and book another flight which meant go back to the ticketing counter outside security! The agents at the gate claimed they did not have that capability. I proceeded to walk, but I called spirit airlines instead and was did not have to book another flight because the flight would be refueling and continuing to New Orleans so I would be on the same plane, but the gate agents did not know this. . We finally boarded 6 hours later to depart at 12pm. When I arrived in Chicago, not only did I have a message indicating I needed to pick up my bag in Baltimore, but also there was not flight continuing to New Orleans! So no bag and no flight! I had to argue with the ticket agent in order to get a hotel for the night book me on the same flight the next day. No apologies or explanation was provided. They actually tried to blame my phone connection for the miscommunication with airline about the connecting flight! They would not refund any amount for my bag or flight since they were able to book me 24 hours later! That is no excuse for the poor service they provided! Never again will I use this airline!"

Cons: "I had 2 tickets booked for Boston on November 17th at 5:58pm. I tried to check in online for both travelers, but according to Spirit Airlines website, you cannot check 2 tickets from the same account. When I arrived at BWI airport and went to the Spirit Airlines desk the lady told me that the flight is closed even though it was still not boarding time yet. I explained to her what happened and asked for cooperation, but she just kept repeating that flight is closed and next flight is in 2 days, which I couldn't wait for, because of the scheduled appointments that I had in Boston. In general the service was terrible and the website platform didn't work right. I had tk pay $250 dollars for last minute ticket while I already lost the money for the first two tickets."
Pros: "The price is right for the base fare, but Spirit gets you with all the extra fees. Baggage cost is very high, and higher at the airport if you don't 'pre-purchase' bags to check online. The weight allowance for checked bags is only 40 pounds with massive fees for heavier bags, and they charge for carry on, too. Checking just one 30 pound bag doubled my total cost of flying, and it would have been more if I hadn't pre-purchased. They even charge for water on the plane, which I find really bad. Maybe it's just me, coming from Australia where you're legally required to provide free water, but this rubs me up the wrong way. They also charge if you need agent assistance to check in at the airport. The staff were all very polite and friendly, and the overall experience was fine, but the extra fees do NOT make it worth it. It makes the guests feel unwelcome and each extra step and extra charge makes the whole experience more stressful and complicated. You could pay a slightly higher base fare with United, for example, but probably save money with more generous baggage/check-in procedures, and have a worry-free experience, too. The staff were great; it's the company policies I have a problem with."

On my return flight I sat next to someone who for sure was on some sort of methamphetamine or heavy upper and could not sit still for a moment. or stop scratching herself. There is no phone line at all that gets you to a human to speak to... at all! So asking for specific flight details was impossible. To get a bottle of water on a 5.5 hour flight was $3 which is inappropriate. The seats do not recline and are small. If you do not pay for you carry on a head of time they will charge you $100 which is basically robbery. I will never fly spirit ever again."

I've yet to have a flight that was on time...something is usually broken on the plane (very nice to hear before boarding...if you board at all). Cons: "Flew bwi to download and as we were landing the flight attendant announced flight connections and then she said "all of you going to New Orleans can't tell you want happened to your flight over the intercom". Then they said nothing else. About 20 of us went to the gate e18 for the flight and the gate sign said On Time and the plane was there however it was 1pm and boarding was supposed to start and no gate agents and no crew ever showed up. A nearby gate said they cancelled the flight. No emails or text from Spirit. So I had to rebook on American to New Orleans and run across tour terminal C for a 149pm flight. Will be asking for a refund and will never book Spirit again and may decide to use kayak less for flights and just use standard United or delta direct websites. Joe"

Cons: "Checking in was a nightmare! The self serve kiosk was at the counter and we had to wait in line with full service to even get to one, that took almost 40 minutes, then tsa had an unbelievably long line and took another hour! We got to the gate just in time for final boarding call. The flight crew announced they were going to close doors but changed their mind to continue "refueling" and let almost fifteen more people on! If I had been one of those people who got to the gate to be told boarding was completed I would have been furious! They needed to wait for those people, still it delayed our flight about 20 minutes. The flight itself was a little bumpy, definitely an economy airline."
Pros: "While I appreciate the cheaper price point for the flight, it reminds me a lot like a doctor with no bedside manner. Sure you need the service and sure you need an operation, but he could careless about how you feel. You are not his main priority. Spirit Airlines is a militant first-order type that sees its money-paying customer as a means to an end. 2 contrasting points of view: Delta V. Spirit One time I flew on a Delta flight that was late arrive to the gate by 30 minutes. The gate attendants wheel a giant cart out full of snacks, soda, and the like. They announced the situation and gave us all the opportunity to have as many snacks as we wanted. This past flight I flew on Spirit. At both Baltimore and Atlanta the gate attendants didn't give us any clue about our flights until it had arrived. Our first flight was delayed by 1 hours. Then 2 hours. Then an hour before the flight, I got an email that said it would be on time. Thankfully the email also had the gate number because Spirit obviously won't even spring for a working screen at their gate. We moved to the right gate to find they didn't even have a screen with any information. The flight back from Atlanta was pretty much the same, except they had a working screen (which is a plus.) Our flight was delayed and didn't arrive until our departure time. The gate attendant never told us this. We understood it was late because we could see no plane at the gate."

Pros: "I received a phone call from Spirit representative John who left a message stating that my departure flight time has changed and to call back. Upon vsll back I spoke with s female (did not get her name) who told me there will be s two hour delay, flight leaves Baltimore at 9:24 pm. Also told me to go back to website to print nee boarding pass and there will not be a 2 nd charge for the seat. When I logged back in around 6:40pm, (extended my workday so I didn't wait around at the terminal), there were no changes to the original departure time for the flight. So, I called Spirit again, spoke with Todd - I'D#41987 who said, no - flight 443 leaves at 7:42pm! Hence, I requested s refund and cancelled. There was no way that I could get to the airport in time for the flight. I didne request a Saturday morning flight because at that point, I lost total faith that there wouldn't be issues on the return flight from Florida. I will never, NEVER again make any travel plans that include Spirit. All they are interested in is signing people up for the credit car offering bonus fly poinft??? Duh!"

Cons: "The check in process for horrific. We waited in line for more than an hour and we were at the front of a line that was at least 3 hours long. The counter was understaffed. Supervisors were not available. Counter staff told us the rest of the staff was "hiding in the back" because they did not want to deal with the problems out front. The seats were very uncomfortable and did not recline at all. It might have been worth it if the flight really was as cheap as the original price, but once you paid for your seat, checked bags, and carry on bags, the cost was comparable to the major airlines. Never again. We are considering buying one way tickets home at the counter for extreme amounts of money just to avoid flying home with them."
Cons: "I missed the flight due to circumstances beyond my control and called Spirit right as the flight was taking off. They had marked me as a no show despite my having checked in and told me there were literally no options to fly later and that I would have to buy entirely new tickets. Not only that, but I couldn't even take the return flight because they were cancelling the entire itinerary! The customer service line was rude as well. I fly frequently and I have never been treated like this by an airline. It was a hugely stressful and frustrating experience, and at the end of it I was not only out the money I had paid for the Spirit ticket but also had to pay for a brand new round trip ticket at great expense. I am extremely displeased."

Cons: "The flights were delayed both ways on the round trip, the first flight by 3 hrs and the return flight 1 hour. Both flights were not delayed due to weather because it was nice out. Just poor management. Our return flight was delayed when I woke up that morning and all day it remained delayed on their website. Until 2 hrs before the flight it was switched back to ontime. We called Spirit to confirm and they said it was ontime. So we had to rush out of the house and skip the dinner my father in law made everyone because the airport is an hour away. We got to the airport only to find the flight was delayed on the board. We went to the gate and the Spirit employees kept assuring us the flight was not delayed even after the scheduled time the flight was suppose to leave they continued to lie and were completely dishonest with everyone on the flight. Very rude customer service and they would just ignore people and walk down the runway and shut the door so they wouldn't talk to us or give anyone an update. We could have gone and had dinner had they not lied to us about the departure time. Just the worst airline I've ever dealt with in my life... they may be cheap but you get what you pay for... and any upfront cost for the ticket is false advertising because once you purchase the ticket you then have to pay for a carry on bag, you have to pay to pick a seat on the plane, you have to pay to check in when you're at the airport, and you have to pay for any services on the plane including the "complimentary drink or snack." Their seats on the plane do not recline at all to make things more comfortable either. I will never fly them again and I warn anyone else who might think saving $50 on the ticket price is worth it cause they get it back in the end and then some!"

Their customer service was terrible, no one cared that they were putting so many people out from families to single travelers. It was nuts. Cons: "I was flying to Chicago for a wedding. I only had a backpack to take on the flight with me. I arrived at my gate with 20mins to spare. Reweind to when I was in line getting my boarding pass... the person at the check-in said I needed to arrive to the gate and ask for a seat. I thought ok, no big deal. She asked if I wanted to pay for a seat, I said that I just wanted a random seat rather than paying for a specified one. Had I known that there was a chance of not being able to board I would have gladly paid the extra fee for a seat. I had to arrive in chicago that morning - as the wedding was at noon. I could not fly Friday due to work and being a recent graduate I didn't want to ask for a vacation day. Fast-forward and I'm at the gate and there's a line of about 4 people. I'm second in line when the ticket counter person says to step aside if we have no seat on our boarding pass. There was a total of 6 or 7 people that stepped to the side. Someone asked her if we would be getting our seat number soon and she became so upset and rudely said there's a chance this flight may be booked and that we probably should have paid for a seat to secure one. Confused. I asked the people by me if somehow I got mixed up flying standby?? They said nope, that they had tickets bought way in advance just like me and that apparently we might be missing this flight. I couldn't believe it. A panic set-in and I didn't know what to do. I was too afraid to ask the lady anything she kept raising her voice at customers who didn't pay for their carry-on beforehand. It got so bad a man asked her for her name and was going to complain about her treating of customers. Sadly, I didn't catch her name. I just don't understand why she works for Spirit if she's going to be upset at everyone. It was 6-7am and no one should be that unhappy in the morning. Anyway, 5 minutes before the plane closed and was ready to leave, she looked at the small group and said ok go in, and to hurry and pick a seat. I got in the plane and tried sitting in the first seat open and would you believe it there were at least 25 seats open... All the drama she made for that many seats?! Crazy. Crazy world. Not a great experience with Spirit Airlines I tell ya. Truthfully speaking, I would not recommend Spirit Airlines to anyone not would I fly with you all again. I'd much rather pay a little extra for Delta, AA, or JetBlue. Best wishes on future customer reviews! -Tracy"
Pros: "It was a short flight that got me to my destination."
Cons: "Outrageous fees for stupid things ($55 for a carry-on bag, really??) In the end, I don't believe I saved any money taking this supposedly budget airline, and it was a far worse experience than if I had just taken United. The website didn't work when I tried to check in, and the people at the check-in counter were rude and unhelpful. The boarding crew didn't bother to make any announcements when our flight was a half hour late. It took well over an hour for us to get our bags once we landed, and Spirit's baggage customer service people yelled at us for asking about the status of our bags. They say you get what you pay for, but I ended up paying a lot and getting nothing for it. Won't be taking Spirit again."
Pros: "The main flight attendant kept saying how much better Delta is than Spirit, so don't expect much, which was funny the first time, but then it got obnoxious. Whatever--people seemed to think he was amusing."
Cons: "Ir order to print your boarding pass, you have to have an email address and password and pretty much sign up for their barrage of email messages. I don't think you can have them email your boarding pass to you, and if you don't have one, they charge you at the airport. With the $42 fee for suitcase (which I don't understand) I really think it's worth the extra money to fly a real airline. Also took longer than usual to get suitcases when we landed at MSP. Oh, and they're so cheap they didn't post the flight number by the gate, and it was a half hour late leaving."
Pros: "Absolutely nothing."
Cons: "We were told that our flight was delayed, with no explanation. Then, we were told it was weather. However, weather in Boston was clear and then slightly stormy. They said it was a 'ground stop' which is for severe weather. People waiting for passengers in Boston said that the weather was not severe. Then, after waiting for hours, with a plane at our gate, our flight was canceled, without explanation. People received conflicting information from, a cabin pressure issue, to a severe smell aboard the plane, to a ground stop in Boston. Spirit could not book us on another flight or a different airline until potentially late the next day (we didn't wait in the 2-hour line to find out). This is the last time I will fly with Spirit. Budget tickets shouldn't mean budget service and lies."
Pros: "I will say it was on time, maybe even early."
Cons: "I had heard bad things about Spirit, and I just attributed it to their piecemeal charging. Having flown substantially, I've accepted that as where things are headed. Though I will say I was surprised they charge you a different price online for a carry-on, and continually increase at different steps. So $45 online to add a carry-on to $110 while boarding. Like I said, that doesn't bother me so much. The seats are the most uncomfortable. I can't believe this is modern cushioning. And when I asked for a pillow, offering to pay, the flight attendant literally laughed aloud and said, "This is Spirit." So even the employees know how bad this airline is."
Cons: "Seats were so small it was impossible to feel comfortable. Could not sleep because seats would not recline. Was rubbing shoulders with a NOT fat but thin lady next to me whole return flight and she bumped me several times when moving around. She was small is my point yet we still rubbed each other. You charge for water!!! You couldn't pour a5 free cup of water, really! You charged for bags & if I had known it was $42 per person each way, ONLY IF you paid in advance, I would have chosen another carrier. For some reason I didn't notice this very fine print when I purchased the tickets but it was very promentnt when you emailed precheck in email. On top of paying for a carry on your staff at the airports still tried to charge me on each leg of the flight - horrible service!!! At check in on return I saw a group of young people get surprised they had to pay to check in their skateboards, so it became clear your company is scamming people for checked baggage at the airport regularly because people are missing the fine print on baggage fees. If I add $84 round trip bag fee plus carry on fee all of a sudden your no better deal than other carriers and their planes are more roomy, seats recline, and they will serve you beverages. People can't fly 5 hour flights without something to drink!!!. I'll be sure to share my disappointing experience with everyone I know."
Pros: "Nothing - this was the most uncomfortable plane I've ever flown in."
Cons: "I was shocked upon entering this plane - it was the least comfortable, most creepy plane I've ever boarded and flown in. The seats were crammed in as close together as possible. The seats themselves were rigid, with a hard back and little padding, did not recline at all, had only a tiny tray table the size of a large cell phone, and instead of a seat back pouch there were just a few elastic bands. I put my water bottle inside the elastic bands and a flight attendant told me 'those document retention straps are not for your water bottle'. I was not impressed. The 'unbundlers' branding effort that Spirit makes did not in any way convince me that I was getting a better value. It was also a huge annoyance to have them attempting to sell us spirit airlines credit cards for the last 20 minutes of the flight."
Pros: "Crew stayed friendly despite an annoying delay. Information about the delay was first shared quickly (by the pilot I think)."
Cons: "After not even boarding before our departure time and then being told to deboard and wait two hours, there were several concerns. 1) The staff who handled boarding weren't articulate in the process and came off rude. 2) By the time we deboarded, all the kitchens were closed and even snack places were closing. So everyone who was now upset and hungry. 3) When it was time to board again, no announcement was made over the loud speaker, despite several of us getting confirmation that would happen when we first got off. 4) If it was my company, and I would have noticed the terminal was closing the shops and would have offered complimentary beverages to passengers during the flight. Almost everyone I talked to or overheard directly expressed their dissatisfaction with Spirit airlines and vowed they would not be using them again. An unexpected free soda would have been a cheap way for you to sway some people to give it another shot."
Cons: "Customer service was absolutely terrible. I thought that the walk-up fee for luggage would be $35/45 but when it was $50 I gave a shocked expression. Which, that's fine if it was advertised that way (I'm sure it was). But when the lazy desk attendant, who was doing nothing but holding a wall up, says "I can't believe people are shocked when you tell them that, it's like come on you know." I'm fine with you saying that when I'm gone, but when people are standing right there and can hear you while you are acting like they aren't even standing there....that is when you have a customer service issue. Although I wanted to lash into him, I felt like it wasn't worth it and much below my level, and I apologize for not gathering that person's name so you may address this properly. Understandable that there are delays, but there shouldn't be a delay EVERY time that a person fly's on a certain airline. I'll try to print tickets online and it says error, but then need to have a discussion about why I am not paying $10."
Pros: "There's a baggage fee that should've been mentioned by KAYAK!! When I first check online it was $25 then I check again it was $40 then when I tried to pay it in person it became $50. The agent that help people at the counter was very rude, they don't have no people skill whatsoever. They moved the gate which is fine..... But the previous flight just got off and they don't even bother to clean the plane because they were running late. Granted the stewardesses are polite and the pilot is really good..... It was a smooth ride and landing...... But it was supposed to be a 5 hour flight...... I was supposed to be in Vegas by 9:45pm..... But now is 1:45am and I'm still in the plane waiting for the gate to be open...... 4 hours delay........ !!! It just turn to be a 9 hours flight!! Almost double the time!!! Ridiculous!!!!"
