Also, what really made me mad, instead of printing our boarding passes at the kiosk we went to a person (husbend had questions about Precheck) and she made us buy return tickets right then, on JetBlue. We had not decided on our return and wanted to leave it open. Can she do that? If not, I would like my money back."

When my kid asked to go to restroom, it seemed that we’re troulesome. My mom missed the water when they gave out drinks, but they did not come back for us. When I went to the back to ask for my mom, they said they’re cleaning up already."

Pros: "I've been flying budget airlines for so long that I was almost shocked to fly an airline that actually cares about its passengers! I kid you not, when they offered coffee to all passengers, I was so sure they would charge us I turned it down. Then, I noticed no one else was paying for it. The next time free snacks and drinks came around, I made sure to grab some! I also appreciated the few extra inches of leg room in every row. Being 6'3", not many planes are designed with your comfort in mind. I fit fairly comfortably in a non-emergency row seat. Last time I flew to Baltimore for work, I had a terrible experience with a different airline. It was $200 less expensive than most airlines, but I ended up paying more in baggage fees and seats. It was only a 1 hour flight and My boss said, "Cheap things usually cost you more, in money, time, and emotion" and nothing has been truer. I always assumed that flights were always unpleasant experiences. Now, I know better."
Cons: "The seats, while having more than average leg room, still weren't very comfortable. Not that I'm expecting a luxury experience while flying economy, but I felt as though the headrest was farther back than average. I can usually fall asleep on a plane and wake up without neck pain, but I really struggled to even figure out a relaxing position this time around. I also did not know that JetBlue did not serve meals on cross-country flights. Or, on any flights for that matter. Had I known, I probably would've picked up a breakfast sandwich before boarding."

They barely gave us updates, and at one point once everyone started asking questions and getting upset, they disappeared from the desk for an hour at least. The crew was late, there was no food, customer service had quite an inappropriate attitude, and tvs on the plane barely worked,"

The WiFi was spotty and slow so I wasn’t able to load the app. Needless to say I was disappointed. I also was disappointed with the seating. I am an average size person and I felt very cramped in my seat. My shoulders and neck are killing me after a 2 hour flight. I know that I chose the economy seating but I don’t remember the seats being quite so narrow or the leg room being non existent."

Then the ticket counter in SF was understaffed and it took a long time to get the receipt printed (Once at the counter the agent was very helpful, efficient and quick). Should have a pet area inside the security of airports, like Palm Springs does."

Also when we arrived we were on the ground for a long time before we could pull up to gate to unload. I have a 3 yr old & 5 yr old & had to run to make it. We made it but luggage didn't. My first luggage was delivered quickly, the 2nd luggage arrived 3 days after we arrived home."

I think it's ludicrous to have to pay for a movie or a snack at 5am on a flight that should have already landed. I've flown plenty of other airlines that are sensitive to delays and accept responsibility. United did none of this."

Having paid for the trip with the Mileage Plus Explorer card, the first checked bag is free for each traveler. At the kiosk check-in at Logan, the machine wanted to bill us $25 to check my wife's bag. It took another 20 minutes to get this rectified."

This trip was by far the best flight I have ever had in my 62 years on the planet. For $49 round trip from Boston to Philly can’t be beat. The staff was super friendly and the aircraft was brand new!

No reclining seats, delay of over 5hrs

Flight staff was great! No free refreshments onboard but that was expected. We took off an hour late and waiting for our checked baggage to come around took forever so that was a little bit annoying.

Flying from ATL to Denver was the worst experience I’ve had on a flight in 25 years. Frontier (especially at Atlanta) was the most careless and apathetic group of gate attendants I’ve ever experienced. After a 2.5 hour delay on our flight I arrived at the gate an hour before boarding. No less than twenty people came up to the desk wondering if the flight was still even going to happen. In the hour I sat there the gate attendant made exactly ZERO announcements as to what was going on. The single Frontier gate is at the end of the D terminal concourse owned by Delta, and I must say Frontier is doing a great job advertising for Delta. As you proceed further down the terminal toward the end where Frontier is, it’s like descending into hell. It goes from a reasonably quiet typical airport setting to a crowded chaotic nightmare where no one is in charge or is interested in helping. Not enough seating (even for mother’s and families struggling with kids who were miserable from the heat), air conditioning was either turned off or broken, no place to charge anything. Never again.

They cancelled my departure flight, and the rebooking process was not easy. My returning flight boarded late. You get what you pay for.

Cons: "I was a passenger on a Frontier flight from DIA to TMA on 5/13/2018. My luggage was checked and a tag indicating the bag was to go all the way to the final destination (there was a stop in St. Paul, Minnesota) was securely placed on the suitcase. However when I arrived at the Trenton airport my bag did not. There were no Frontier airlines agents on duty so I filled out a form given to me by one of the airport staff. When I checked the Frontier website today it said to fill out a Frontier Lost and Found report. Upon doing so I received an email saying finding a lost bag could take weeks and that after a month they consider the bag permanently lost. No offer or process was provided for compensation for lost bag or the items within. This is unacceptable! I had prescription medication in my bag that's not easily refilled."
Pros: "You get what you pay for. I'd rather spend less money on a flight and sacrifice my comfort. I'm 6'3 and was fine. I just chose to not get up during the flight. The flight from Las Vegas to Washington was better than the flight from Washington to Las Vegas."

There is no music, movies, chargers and not even a free peanut. $400 equals I should gone with top tier airlines. The staff even had attitude. Not friendly at all and most of them a chip on there shoulder. Pravly because they know what crappy airline it is. Please, please, please don't fly with this airlines."

Cons: "I feel that the price is only a little, if any, lower than other airlines, especially after you factor in the cost of luggage, the lack of snacks or a drink, and picking a seat. All that aside, I was not thrilled with the snack selection. There was no vegetarian/healthy choice. I could either pay for meat and cheese and only eat the cheese, or I could buy something packed with sugar."

Really LOUD announcements over the PA by the crew, more of a commercial /advertisement for Frontier that makes you jump from your seat specially if one is trying to get some shut eye. Extra charge for carry on bags which they don't let you know until you are ready to check in! Needless to say that I'll be flying other airlines."

We about expect to have to pay for the use of the restroom (not that we're making suggestions)! And there was no entertainment except what we ourselves had, so don't know why that's even on the questionnaire. We did pay extra for the leg room, but only because we were doing a 1 way flight and were so miserable the last time we flew with Frontier years ago. Wish they would go back to the way they were when they first started."

Frontier refused to help with hotel or other accommodations and I had to rebook flight with delta for 350$ so I could get back home. Also, the employees from Frontier were extremely rude and refused to even look at me or even answer my questions. They said flight was cancelled due to weather reasons, but American Airlines was able to get planes running on only an hour delay. And, again, I never even had the common courtesy of a call or email, or text that my flight was cancelled! I had to find out when I got to the airport,"

The guy was in India, slow computer, kept putting me on hold. 2 hours later, no rebooking, no resolution and I was postal. I missed the funeral of my relative, so did my kids. Horrible service, I will never fly Frontier again. What a nightmare. I kept asking for a manager or supervisor and was told there was no one."

From the moment I got to the kiosk to check in and the screen said that I hadn't paid for my checked and carry on bag even though I had the night previous, to the atrocious customer service at the counter where the desk agent kept demanding that I put my bag on the scale even though another passenger's bag was in the way and she was doing nothing to move it, to me the 2 hour delay departing from a Denver, an additional hour waiting on the tarmac in Chicago with the flight attendants being snarky with passengers who were becoming restless and wanting to retrieve personal items-- it suffices to say that I will NEVER fly this airline again. It took an additional 45 minutes to retrieve checked baggage. I was fooled by the seemingly reasonable fair. I would prefer to pay double what I payed for this flight simply to never have to experience atrociously uncomfortable seats and extremely rude flight attendants (I asked for a second glass of water, to which she responded "I must service the other customers first" and I understood that, but once beverage service was over, she spent an hour talking to and laughing with the other flight attendants and then 30 mins before landing strolled over with an additional glass of water for me. NEVER AGAIN!"

Cons: "Where to begin in this one. To start the flight was delayed for about 10 hours. Life happens delays are inevitable but thy way frontier handled this was absolutely the worse customer service I have ever witnessed For starters after the initial delay the flight was removed from the departure board. Only a single intercom call was made regarding the delay of the flight. After this every passenger was left in the dark. Only by asking other airlines were we able to find our new exit gate and leave time. Tens out that was wrong as well and the frontier employee in staff left as soon as possible and refused to answer questions. I contacted customer support, who belittled me for missing my flight. I was told that the plane had departed at 1245 and that I should have been at the airport an hour before the departure to ensure I was on the plane. During this entire time I was staring at the plane right outside the window. There system had lost track of the plan. After being transferred to a supervisor he spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out where the plane was before he listened to me telling him t was right in front of my eyes. They lost a plane... He then attempted to explain the delay which I already knew more about than him from all of the other passengers pooling our knowledge. The supervisor (id#881311) refused to give me a guarantee or promise that e would provide a way for us to all be informed. As of this point no annocumebts ha been made, the departure board was empty, and all websites stated that we had left an hour ago. However after my phone call in about 10 minutes the website updated to show that we were now delayed until 730. Sill no information was provided in terminal. The entire flight proceeded to go to the ticketing counter in an attempt at some reimbursement for this inconvenience. There was only two frontier employees inside the entire terminal at the time. They had to be badgered for refunds. After hours we were finally given 15 dollars in food coupons... The only reimbursement for this entire debacle. No more information was provided until we boarded the plane around 830. The flight crew provided no reimbursement or sincere apologies and the entire passenger base was treated as if we were the issue. When leaving the aircraft the flight crew was unsure if which baggage claim we would be going to find our luggage so we were directed to three different claims Frontier is a disorganized uncaring and unflinching airline that is only still around by some unknown miracle. They have a 1 star review across the board on all review sites I could find and it was well deserved."
Cons: "I don't like getting nickel and dimed. Baggage charges are standard nowadays, but I was shocked that I have to pay to carry a bag on the plane AND it was more than for a checked bag. And I had to pay for an assigned seat for each leg of my trip. Wow! My first and last Frontier experience."

Cons: "When we got to Denver, we sat on the tarmac for over 30 minutes because Frontier did not have a ground crew ready upon our arrival. We then sat for another 25 minutes while they tried to move the walkway into position to unload the plane. Once off the plane, we had to wait over an hour for our luggage to arrive. The crew had two additional planes to unload before they got to ours. Not a big fan of Frontier or DIA!"

She was pissy when I asked for gin, because she had to go look for it. She was agrivated when I asked if I had to buy the mixer separate, as it was my very first time on frontier. They didn't have gin though it was on the menu, as expensive as the alcohol was that I did buy, the mixer should have come with it. The fact that one has to pay for a carry on is ridiculous! On to of it all the flour was late boarding. I was not impressed with frontier. We were charged almost double the price for our checked baggage on this flight compared to the previous one because during our trip it switched to "the busy season." There was no notice of this when buying the tickets. There is also no good reason to charge more for a carry on than checked baggage. Just make it the same price if your going to charge for both. Also, the increase in price for carry on and checked baggage when checking in at the airport instead of online is massive. I drove down from the mountains where I had zero service straight to the airport. Had I pulled over somewhere on the way and checkin in before, I would have saved a ton of money on our three bags. I'm not sure if I'll ever be flying frontier again."

No one alerted us to this policy and spirit even double down on the claim the my didn't have our contact information to alert us while I was actively receiving texts from them. Did nothing to try and help us. Pay more elsewhere. It will save you in he long run."

The staff were walking around ignoring the waiting, tired, and frustrated passengers."

We were all exhausted and some people had connecting flights that may have been missed. Crew talked to each other a lot and missed some passenger requests. I believe the flight attendant said it was a Chicago crew. The $50 luggage fee is a bit much. Thought the old policy was more fair. I like Spirit for its affordability which is going away now."
Cons: "I hate the spirit model and I hate that the regular airlines are starting to do it. Also they don't put enough padding on the seats, which is uncomfortable on a 5 hour flight. Flight was overbooked so it left late, but they padded the arrival time by an ENTIRE HOUR so it arrived "early"."

They did neither of those tasks, nor could they give me any status updates along the way. This is the last time we fly Spirit."

This information was never updated, although departure was actually delayed almost two hours. No Spirit personnel were ever present at the departure gate or elsewhere in the departures area to provide an explanation or answer questions, nor was any information whatsoever posted at the gate at any time. Once passengers were on board and the plane was about to depart, the pilot did give a short explanation, adequate but tardy. I know Spirit is a low cost airline, but keeping passengers informed about the status of a very much delayed flight Is a basic service that would not cost much."

Our flight had already been delayed so I was prepared for a longer wait. As I sat there, the flight got delayed two additional times. Ok, no big deal, but when customers were asking why the attendants could not tell us. When asked a general time we would be boarding, people were told "when the captain gives us the OK." Finally, we boarded almost 4 hours later when the delay stated only 2 hours. The plane was OK, but the attendants were far from pleasant. I was OK with no Tvs, baggage prices, and all of that because I was aware beforehand, but the way the staff acted was completely disgusting. After finally getting Chicago, I waited almost 45 minutes for my bags. When I called my car to tell them the delay they replied that Spirit had been backed up all day. Why? No one really knew. On the way back from Chicago to Boston, the flight was set to board at 1:09 pm. The airport was extremely busy, so I did not get through security until about 1:40. I ran to the gate only to see that they hadn't boarded yet. No updated on their website of the delay and nothing sent to my email. We didn't actually board until about 2pm, and then had to wait an additional 30 minutes on the plane because one of the attendants was late getting on. So now, it is about 2:45 and we are finally taking off-originally scheduled at 1:54 with NO updates sent to the customers on the delay. No one explained the delay and no one could give a time when we would take off. A few people tried to call the airline to explain their concerns and were abruptly hung up on. The least Spirit could have done is listened to their concerns and gave an apology. I will never, EVER fly this airline, and I suggest you don't either."

Cons: "Every Spirit fight that I have taken has been delayed majorly impacting my trips. The first making my family miss one full day in Miami after the flight was delayed twice. Yesterday my flight was delayed over two hours for crew issues. I understand weather issues, but there should be some accomodation made when it is entirely the airline's fault. I witnessed one distraught passenger try to get assistance when the realized they had left his daughter's medication on the plane after leaving the plane. The gate agents were sort with him, not helpful in any way. They did call for a supervisor who showed up with a lollipop in her mouth. So unprofessional. I could go on, but I won't. This is a low cost carrier, with fares seemingly lower than their competitors but make sure to consider all of the fees before buying your ticket. Chances are the price is close to another carrier."

Close to scheduled time announced that with flight will be late over another two hours. I arrived at my destination at 1:00 am instead of 10:30 pm. It was highly uncomfortable for me and as well my host. Who came too pick me from 1:15 distance. I will never advise that to save $30-50 dollars. Ruined your entire trip. Never ever travel Spritor advise others."
